Running out of battery but can't run out of praise for this GEM of a find! The wonderful 'Salt Pan Cottage' at Cloughton gave us without doubt the best Air B'nB stay ever. A character cottage converted to the highest standards with 1 large living/sleeping space including stunning exposed inner stone wall, superbly equipped kitchen, super bathroom with 2 shower choices over bath (+ extended shower standing room), very comfortable king sized bed, excellent quality storage space, quality towels, throws, cosy eating/relaxing TV area just up from kitchen and a totally private garden looking out to single path/driveway/fields with comfortable seating for relaxing/reading/eating. 5 mins on foot from Loughton Cove (for the more adventurous?) and 2 mins from public path (walkers/cyclists) to Hayburn Wyke/Inn and onward to Ravenscar. Easy access by car to Scarborough/Whitby & coastal bays. Hosts couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Huge thanks to you Mick & Debbie! Heavily recommended!

Lovely little cottage, all filled nice touches from the hosts. Would highly recommend if you want to visit Scarborough and Whitby and have a car.

one of the nicest Airbnbs we have stayed at So comfortable Very quiet and off the beaten track but very close to an excellent pub serving excellent food The cottage lacked for nothing Countryside on your doorstep but sea within half an hour .

Loved our stay here- a pristine cabin, comfortably appointed- cosy bed and blankets. Loved the farm fresh milk and bathrobes! Enjoyed the outside bath tub and the view is to die for- this stay really chilled us out after a hard going couple of months. Easy to find and in the countryside of Scarborough. We went to falling foss, a concert in Scarborough and enjoyed all Scalby has to offer.
