Holiday rentals with breakfast in Buxton

Very nice and private ideal for what we wanted great location as we were at a wedding reception a short walk from the Woodford Centre

We loved our stay. The walk that Ian recommended was splendid, especially the dip in the river at the end! Very accommodating with dietary requirements and lovely fresh fruit as part of the breakfast. Wonderful hosts.

It was everything we were expecting, central for all the heritage visits that we were planning to do. It was brought to our attention that we would have to be able to climb stairs. Sadly as an elderly couple we did struggle. Certainly didn't spoil our stay.

Awesome location, a short walk from the airport or only £10 by taxi. Comfortable room, David was incredibly welcoming and even offered me some food that I could have for breakfast before leaving for my early morning flight. I couldn’t ask for more.

Di and Rob are fantastic hosts and extremely helpful. They made me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was lovely and the bathroom next door was totally private. Their house is just a few minutes walk away from the town and the home made bread was a lovely touch too in the mornings. I highly recommend this Airbnb !

Nice stay at Andrea’s house! You have to walk all through her home to get to your bedroom which may be off putting for some, however we didn’t mind at all & the bedroom & bathroom are very separate in an extension. We never saw or heard anyone during our stay. Lovely view from the bedroom window and everything you need has been thought of. Although we didn’t meet Andrea she was extremely responsive with any queries and super friendly. The walk is 30 minutes to the Opera House in Buxton so please take this tip if you’re visiting for a show there - make sure you prebook a taxi/Uber if you don’t fancy the walk home after as it’s impossible to get one! Buxton is a lovely place, lots of places to dine & drink and we’d definitely stay at Andrea’s again next time we visit.

Sue is a remarkable host. Friendly, warm hearted, very funny, with lots of energy. If you need to be validated as a human being, this is the place to go! If you don't need to be validated as a human being, this is still the place to go!

I can’t stress enough how much I would recommend the arty Annexe. Sue and Steve were extremely friendly and personable. The place is absolutely beautiful and was perfect to celebrate our anniversary. There are lots of lovely touches such as fresh eggs, tea, coffee and we even had some homemade flapjacks. Not to mention how comfortable and cosy our stay was. Thank you very much for being such kind and helpful host!

Mike’s place was perfectly described and 100% matched what we needed for a weekend away in Manchester. It was well equipped with everything you could need, and spotlessly clean. Mike was always very quick to respond to any communication and ensure everything was ok. The garden was a lovely space in which to sit and relax. Would highly recommend.

I’ve stayed at this property several times now as I needed to be back near my childhood home. Any issues are always sorted very promptly and it has been literally a home from home for me. Thank you so much. I’ve loved each time I’ve stayed at the Old Red King.

1 Dalebrook View is a thoughtfully furnished and very spacious apartment which immediately feels like home. Very comfortable beds and well designed living spaces with everything you could want for an enjoyable stay. Kate could not be more helpful and gives clear details and instructions for everything you need during your stay. Good dog walks can be taken from the front door and there is a small enclosed green area 2 minutes walk away called The Grove next to the Fish and Chip shop. It is an ideal place to briefly take a dog to at the beginning and each end of the day. We visited The Moon Inn in Stoney Middleton and nearby Calver Arms plus local cafes. All offering good food and drink options, although we found the Eyam cafés to be very expensive, busy, slow on service or closed. Our booking for three nights from Sunday meant we missed out on a few things not being open including the local Toll Bar fish and chips open Wednesday to Saturday. We will just have to return another time!

Great place! It was close to the city centre and train station. It was perfect for what we needed. The instructions to get into the building and where we could park were very clear. I would definitely book again if I come back to Manchester. We couldn’t fault a thing. Thank you ☺️

Me and my friends stayed here for one night, it was lovely, a quiet neighbourhood and a beautiful view, Karen herself was very responsive and was always available to give me information when needed, the kitchen was lovely and clean,.The description to this room was as matched, it felt at home and safe. Very impressed

A beautiful place to stay, with everything you need, tucked away in a quiet and peaceful residential area. Comfy bed, good shower, clear instructions and most of all a very generously stocked kitchen – which just makes you feel at home. And even better, the place stayed nice and cool during a heatwave! Lisa is quick to respond, including to an amend to dates. Airbnb done right!

Comfortable accommodation within a charming period property in a lovely village. Lots of local attractions, went to Wirksworth, Haddon Hall, Melbourne church and Calke Abbey in the two days stayed, all stunning … and lots more attractions in easy reach. Duffield is charming and has ample eating and drinking establishments plus Co-Op and newsagents in the village only steps away.

Jane was an incredible host and so hospitable. The breakfast in the morning was great and so were her suggestions for hikes and local spots. Would definitely love to stay again!

Maywalk House provided everything we needed and more for our walking break in the Peak District, including a comfy bed, luxurious bathroom and a hearty breakfast cooked by Felicity to kick start each day. It's only 10 minutes' walk from the Miners Arms in Eyam village, which serves good evening meals. Felicity is a great host, friendly and welcoming but at the same time unobtrusive. We'd thoroughly recommend Maywalk House Airbnb.

Ruby is a very helpful host, lots of friendly communication before arrival and during my stay. The location is excellent for visiting the Christie hospital where my husband was having treatment, literally over the road! There is a small Sainsbury's just down the road towards Wythenshawe and other supermarkets within a 20 minute walk in Didsbury. Having off road parking was another big bonus as on road parking can be time limited. The bed was comfortable and I had everything I needed for my stay, including snacks, breakfast cereal, tea and coffee. If I need to stay in this area in the future I will definitely try to book here again!

We had a lovely one night stay at The Stables whilst visiting for a wedding. Very clean and everything was very comfy. Breakfast in the morning was lovely and Angela was very accommodating!

Great place to stay, the whole place is pretty clean, had a very homey vibe, and jack includes a lot of amenities that other places don’t even bother giving. Honestly an amazing place to stay, which the common area on the middle floor it gave almost like a high quality college dorm vibe. 100% would recommend. The only thing to mention is that during the summer the nights can get a little warm due to the lack of AC, but that is not the hosts fault as ACs are not the most common thing in the UK where usually the weather doesn’t get to warm. If I’m every coming back to Manchester, will definitely have this place in mind!

It was a nice stay, in a lovely house. I felt like I'm at home with my privacy even when the house is shared with the owner. The playfull dog I really liked him and I can say that he is a very obidient dog. Regarding Angela I cannot complain at all, because she is always ready to listen and help me, giude me, when she have time obviosly as she have her own busy life.

Wendy has a beautiful home that she keeps in tip top shape. We had a great stay, especially with a dog. Wendy was very welcoming and left us to our own devices to explore the local area, with good driving distance to the Peaks.
