The cabin is at the end of a long wooded drive and is nestled in the trees, but yet is less than a mile from Tanger Outlet Mall and just 5 miles from Metro Health Hospital. Downtown Grand Rapids is a short 12 minute drive, while Holland State Park on Lake Michigan is only a scenic 40 minutes away. The Suite is a cozy place to rest from your travels or stay while you visit family/friends. Away from the bustle of downtown, yet only a 10 minute drive to all the venues in the Grand Rapids downtown area. It’s a small but well stocked suite, separate space in the front of our home. Tanger Outlet is 1 mile away for convenient shopping. There are a number of restaurants close to choose from. Continental breakfast provided ( plant based) hot/cold cereal, bread, fruit, coffee bar.

Guests have access to this entire walkout basement studio with large backyard and creek. This newly renovated space has a Helix mattress queen bed, living room space, full bath, and a kitchenette which includes; a medium sized fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, electric kettle, plates, bowls, and silverware. We’re a 5 minute walk from Ken-O-Sha Park with great hiking trails, just south of 28th street, a 10 minute drive to the airport, and a 10 minute drive to downtown GR.

The Amberg House - a Frank Lloyd Wright Original

Staying in a house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright is a bucket list item for fans of America's most acclaimed architect. The Amberg House was completed in 1911 at the pinnacle of Wright's Prairie Style influence. Though every Wright home is special, the Amberg House is a unique collaboration between Wright and Marion Mahony. Mahony worked with Wright from 1896 until 1909. A graduate of MIT, she was the first woman to be licensed as an architect in the US.

We are 20 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids, 20 minutes from Gun Lake Casino, 20 minutes to the airport, 35-40 minutes from Lake Michigan, and 25 minutes away from Yankee Springs Recreation area. The entire lower level is set up as a private space for you to enjoy.

Our home is on a quiet residential street of families and children... If your visit won't fit that vibe you may be happier elsewhere. There is a private, lit entrance to the studio apartment with a keyless lock system. We send the code for the lock system just prior to your stay.
