Very good hosts It's a very nice gesture of courtesy to leave food to help out in a pinch. Very pleasant, clean and tidy environment, it is a mono environment, enough for 2 or 3 nights. It's a first floor staircase, it wasn't what was planned The location is not easy, only with GPS There are no nearby places to eat

This Airbnb makes the top of my list for the best of the best! The buildings and landscape were authentic to the Tuscany experience we were looking for. The hosts were so incredibly friendly and flexible, they worked with us when we had some setbacks getting to the location. This Airbnb is top tier and a must for anyone looking for an authentic experience.

I can say enough about his beautiful Airbnb. My husband and I stayed for four nights, and Alistair and Maria were the most gracious hosts. From start to finish we felt welcomed and cared for, and the cottage itself - not to mention the grounds - was simply gorgeous. Nestled in the little town of Macciano, the cottage has great proximity to so many beautiful towns, attractions, and restaurants. We took multiple little day trips and were able to cover a lot of ground, and still be home in time for a dip in the pool and a glass of Prosecco with our charming hosts. Maria even offered to cook with me one night, and I had the opportunity to learn about the local fare, all lovingly made from scratch by Maria. This is a very, very special place filled with beauty and tranquility. We can't wait to go back!!

Very well located, comfortable Airbnb, all within walking distance from car park (for those renting cars) and from all the restaurants and sites within town. The real highlight though was the balcony which was genuinely amazing with wonderful views of the city. Chiara was very helpful and everything worked smoothly. Would thoroughly recommend this place.

Wow what a fabulous stay ! San Gusme and its surrounding area is beautiful and we felt so lucky to be able to stay in San Gusme itself . Elvira was super helpful and had great local recommendations for wine tasting etc .

This estate is a dream—life changing in all the best ways. From the jasmine-scented gardens and sweeping views of Siena to the beautifully restored guest suites—personally designed by Andrea, an architect and true artist—every detail felt magical. He greeted us so warmly, spent generous time sharing the estate’s history, and even gifted us a bottle of his family’s wine—which was absolutely lovely and made us feel truly welcome. The plunge pool was a refreshing retreat, and the setting was pure tranquility: birdsong, rustling leaves, and golden Tuscan sunsets. Andrea gave us a wonderful tour and shared the story behind his family’s efforts to preserve this incredible place. We adored the gentle Maremma dogs, Fiora and her puppy, Pecorino, who made us feel right at home. We were so impressed with this stay and Andrea’s efforts to preserve this very special place. Every moment here felt like a scene from a film—elegant, peaceful, and filled with soul. We can’t wait to return.

Francesco was the perfect host very communicative and responsive when needed - the unit was spotless and nice decor - loved being in the little town walking to the 3 lively restaurants, grocery and coffee shop not to mention the fabulous vineyards that surrounded the flat - we did some wonderful walks and did side trips to cute little towns - Would recommend highly

Our stay at Mario's more than met our expectations. We were superbly received with our faithful 4-legged companion. Mario, Anna and all their families are very welcoming and happy to welcome us in this charming building, very quiet and relaxing, we enjoyed the green area and the proximity of the activities detailed by our host (a great thing, the ballet of fireflies in the evening).
