Monthly Rentals in Camber

Shell House worked perfectly for my birthday celebration. Really well equipped and comfortable, with a lovely outdoor space too. All of the bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. There was lots of seating and we could all eat together round the table. There was loads of crockery etc. Parking was a bit tight because of other parking on the road, but we managed. Being at the beach in two minutes was great. Finding the house was slightly tricky because the tiny track down the side of the Post Office doesn’t look like you can drive down it - you can!

Beautiful Airbnb, with the most gorgeous garden. Wonderfully friendly and welcoming hosts. Bigger in person than in the photos, with ample space for 2 people, and a bigger bathroom than expected. Has all the comforts of home, and more, including already provided simple breakfast food with everything you need to cook. Will be back if we were in the area again!

Lovely break. Very comfortable and well furnished house. Can't beat the location, just a 5 minute walk up the road from the beach - or even faster for those more energetic who want to scramble over the sand dunes. Keep an eye on tide times, as the beach is so much lovelier (in my opinion!) at low tide. Much more of the sandy shore exposed, which is nicer to walk on than the shingle and much better for the dog to run around on. This isn't a criticism of the accommodation, but more info for future guests... very limited resources on site, so bring your own tea/coffee/sugar. (Some Airbnbers provide some basics.) I think there was salt, pepper and vinegar in the cupboard. Would definitely recommend and we look forward to returning soon.

The location was great - Camber Sands beautiful beach is less than 10 mins walk away. The nearest town, Rye, is a few mins drive - it is picturesque with lots to see and some pretty, independent shops and nice restaurants. The accommodation was one of the best I’ve rented on Airbnb. It was comfortable, tastefully decorated, exceptionally clean and tidy, and spacious. Everything worked, it was well equipped, and the view out over the fields at the back of the property was awesome. The hosts were great too - proactive, welcoming, responsive and easy-going. Clearly experienced and considerate of what people are looking for from their stay. Overall 10/10 and I might go back!!
