Holiday rentals with lake access in Canal du Midi

Our stay at Erika and Laurent's house was absolutely wonderful. The property is a real gem, perfectly renovated, where the charm of the old is combined with all the modern amenities. The rooms are spacious, the beds are very comfortable, and the terrace overlooking the Saint Martin bell tower is simply spectacular. In addition, the location is ideal for exploring the charming surroundings of Sorèze and the Occitania region. Laurent and Erika were very attentive and kind hosts, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Definitely an unforgettable experience that I would recommend to anyone! We had a great stay in this very nice house, located in the middle of nature—very calm and peaceful. The check-in was easy with a concierge system from the owner (they also manage other houses in the area). The house is big and comfortable, with a large kitchen and living room. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. The decoration is like a small museum, full of beautiful objects from local shops and galleries, mixed with modern comfort. Beds are large and very comfortable. Everything is provided: bed linen, towels, and even bathrobes. The amenities are excellent: hot tub with jets, outdoor jacuzzi, heated pool, and gas barbecue. The owners answered very quickly when we had questions.

They run a charming little restaurant in the village, very nice to have a good time. We had a great weekend with friends with our children. The house is perfectly clean and tastefully decorated. The environment is relaxing and peaceful if you want to disconnect from your life at 100 miles an hour and you enjoy nature, this is the right place! The WiFi works without any problems😉! The accommodation was perfect even for a few days. We have just returned from Spain, this accommodation is a few kilometers from the border. Small touches awaited us and especially the air conditioning. I order 100%

Everything is nickel-chrome at Catherine's. The apartment is very spacious and very well furnished. We discovered her Book on the site, it gave us ideas for interesting visits.

Everything perfect. Patrick and Michelle are very simple and expected. It felt like a home away from home. The small lake with the park is beautiful for children and to rest in nature.

Stunning property in beautiful isolation, with woodland, wild garden areas and babbling stream - but close to pretty small villages and Carcassonne only 1/2 hour away with large supermarkets for a “big” shop. Very easy to settle in to a very relaxing holiday. Our host has a family house renovated sympathetically full of character and personal effects. 3 good sized bedrooms, though only one toilet on the bedroom floor. Huge living room with fantastic views - ditto the kitchen, which is well stocked. We met Guillaume whilst mowing his vast area of grass - absolutely charming and he was very helpful and responsive throughout. Some toys, cot and a stair gate for our toddler grandson! We absolutely loved it - a joy and a privilege to experience this unique property. PS NOT for people with mobility problems. We absolutely loved it!

An exceptional stay! The gite is so well set up from the glorious setting and peaceful atmosphere to the fast wifi, underfloor heating, modern interior, large comfortable bed and luxurious bedding. It is a little hidden gem, surrounded by beautiful countryside and our hosts were beyond amenable and welcoming. Colin’s incredible art just creates a wonderful atmosphere. Truly one of the best Airbnb experiences we have had in a long time! Wouldn’t hesitate to return to this lovely gite in Aragon.

Julie's house is spotless, fully equipped and completely corresponds to the photo presentation. Check in is easy and contact with Julie is very adequate. You will always receive a response within an hour. It is a real village house; after a five-minute walk you drink your morning coffee and eat your treat from the bakery on a cosy, lively terrace in the centre. Heartily recommended, this house.
