Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Canal du Midi

Check-in and check-out was easy. There are clear instructions. On site there was a well-equipped kitchen, with both basics like sugar and flour as well as utensils like different pots and pans, even a crêpe pan :). The pool is small and cold, but it was fun. The house is right next to a large expressway with a toll station, and we often had to pay tolls when we went somewhere. Without a car, getting around is not easy, we had to walk at least 20 minutes to the tram, it ran until 0:00, then it only came back at 5:00. The surrounding area is very beautiful, within 40 minutes we were both in the city center of Montpellier and on breathtaking beaches.

We had a great stay in Tuchan. The accommodation is beautiful: very spacious, impeccably clean, tastefully decorated and very well equipped. Everything is designed for the comfort of the occupants. The bedding in the rooms is of good quality and allowed us to rest well. Small downside on the sofa bed, whose bedding is unfortunately very uncomfortable. The environment is particularly peaceful, ideal for relaxing. The garden is a real plus, very pleasant and perfectly suited for our dog who also enjoyed the place. Thank you so much for a great experience!

We had a great time. The location is excellent because you are in the middle of natural beauty all around. Whether it's a walk, a hike, a bike ride, a swim or a car adventure to visit the castles, medieval villages or historical sites of the French resistance. Frédéric is an excellent and gracious host who welcomed us to a special region of the south of France.

As advertised, the accommodation is very good

Everything has already been said. The fisherman's house is located in an idyllic place and in an Olympian calm. We felt immediately comfortable and Denys' welcome was very warm and friendly. Certainly, some maintenance work is necessary, but as Denys says, various external elements mean that these are not always possible. But the feeling of living in harmony with nature makes you forget these small inconveniences.

We had a lovely stay at Hélène's. The apartment, converted from an old farmhouse, offers the comfort and equipment necessary for a pleasant stay. It is located in the middle of the fields but at the gates of Castelnaudary. What a pleasure to wake up in the morning to the roses and the birds singing! Thanks to Hélène and the dog Jazz for their hospitality :-)

A short stay but a very charming and quiet place. Nice little stone house, well-equipped and pleasant. The surroundings are just as much as the small garden. We enjoyed it very much

Fantastic days in a beautiful accommodation. In the middle of the city and yet very quiet. The pool, the table tennis table and the garden ensure beautiful moments outside. You'll feel right at home in the property. We fully recommend the property.

Wow, what an incredible peaceful location. The house was absolutely stunning. To see Peacocks go to bed each night roosting in the trees is a memory. Julie and Cedric are lovely hosts, thank you! Fabulous place, extremely well equipped and with great bedding! Everything was impeccable. Fabien was perfect, very welcoming, available, responsive with many useful tips... in short a host and a high quality accommodation. We had a great weekend and we'll be back with great pleasure! We have just returned from a great 5 night break at Patrice's place (Magnolia de Bonheur). The location is really very Impressive indeed. The view from the pool deck is superb. The Gîte was exactly as described and very comfortable. The general property is very rustic and peaceful - totally relaxing and calm. Patrice is a very kind and considerate host and was always responsive and helpful when we had a couple of queries. Les Hauts de Jeanvert is definitely to be recommended. What a gem l'Orangerie is.🍊 A super beautiful and stylish stay in a green environment. Equipped with delicious local soaps, products and even the bedding and towels smell wonderful. Jess & Julian are incredibly hospitable and helpful and made for a carefree vacation! Really recommended to stay here and wonderful to relax and swim in the spacious swimming pool☀️💚 Tim & Stefan

Awesome stay, We love quiet and exotic places, it was just perfect!!! An incredibly well renovated accommodation and with very good taste. Bedding of exceptional quality. Pool with fresh spring water but we enjoyed it a lot. The plancha and the brazier are very useful for cooking enthusiasts. Our dog has spent his best life at La Clede. Domityle and her spouse remain reachable and are adorable. Lots of river spots/bike/hiking nearby. The village grocery store has everything you need, and the bar restaurant next door (Le panier fleuri) offers hearty and inexpensive dishes in a family atmosphere. The house is very pretty as is the view of the mountain ranges, the place is very quiet, the wood stove is a real asset, it makes the charm of the house as well as the decoration.

Elisabeth and her daughter are extremely kind and offer quality hospitality. Everything is done to make us feel at home quickly. The apartment is beautiful, surrounded by vineyards and close to the Canal du Midi Go without hesitation.

It was our second time visiting, and we loved it even more than we did the first time. Richard, Marvin, Burt, Marge & Toby are all exceptional hosts. We absolutely loved our time there. The pool is divine, and sitting outside Gite 1 every evening playing chess and drinking rosé was the best. It feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere; only the sound of birds singing and trees rustling in the wind - but only 10 minute drive to a supermarket. Gite 1 has a fabulously big & comfortable bed, and the bathroom is recently renovated to an outstanding standard. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
