Beautiful views! About 20 minute walk to town. Lots of stairs! The road was a little nerve racking when walking — no sidewalks and many blind turns. The hosts were fantastic and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. We really enjoyed staying here!

As in the past three years, we had a wonderful stay at Villa Dea. We enjoy every moment of the day here on the terrace with the breathtaking view of Como and the lake. The apartment was again very well maintained and very clean. As the last few times, we had a very nice contact with Elena. Cinzia is extremely helpful, warm and hospitable! We will come back next year and can only highly recommend the accommodation!

Everything was great, the accommodation is great and the view and the garden patio with pool was awesome. We would love to come back and wish everyone a great stay as we had.

Spotlessly clean well furnished and equipped accommodation. The location is ideal for visiting the lakes plus it is a reasonable distance from the airport and Milan.. The host is very helpful and always contactable. Having stayed in numerous airbnbs this is one of the best I have booked. I would without hesitation recommended staying here if you are visiting the Italian lakes.

Very spacious, sparkling clean house with very comfortable beds. Located halfway up the Mottarone - in the midst of nature with a view of Lake Orta. Armeno is the nearest town with some nice little shops for buying Italian delicacies. Giacomo is the jewel of Casa Mottarone - he is helpful and super fast when needed.

Spectacular view - especially for those who want to get away from the city. A lot of light in the house, too bad it's not possible to open the large windows.

It was indeed a pleasure staying at Marco's chalet, in serene surroundings. Spacious with a great garden, and the house had all it needed

We enjoyed our vacation very much, the perfectly fenced garden was a dream with children and dog. The house was very clean. Everything was available and the hosts are very friendly and always available

We stayed as four couples so had the whole house to ourselves great each having en-suite bathrooms and one to spare ,nice communal area ,kitchen was ok but we hardly cooked in ,great location for the lake and the railway station.Patrizia was very attentive and any problem we had she sorted straight away.Stresa is a beautiful place lots of lovely bars and restaurants and the lake is stunning. We done the scenic train to Locarno and then ascona which was stunning and the ferry back to stresa , we have all fell in love with the Italian lakes.

The house and garden are an amazing place to stay. The views over the lake and the expansive and gorgeous garden and pool area are good to relax and chill and enjoy the Italian weather. The house is well maintained and I also really liked the kitchen and how well it was equipped. We had a good time cooking and BBQing. There are lots om fun games in the house as well (pingpong, fussbal, etc) Andrea was a fantastic, kind and flexible host who communicated really well during the entire process. I would love to go back to this house!

This was one of the best air bnb experiences I have had, highly highly recommend. The photos do not do the view justice, it is truly amazing. The pool is perfect for families with children. The air BnB has everything you could need, comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen, clean modern bathrooms, so specious. We had the most amazing week! Deborah is an incredible host, very detailed guide book, excellent communication, she went out of her way to make sure our stay was super. We didn’t want to leave. It is a 30 minute walk down the hill to the centre of Menaggio. The hill to the top is steep with cars/walking but it is so so worth it for the view. Thank you Deborah, we couldn’t have had a better time.

We were there with 3 families including 4 children and it was a wonderful stay. The villa still exceeds the expectations you have through the photos. There are countless touches designed with a lot of taste and knowledge. The age and size of the villa mean that individual items are always broken, which did not disturb us. The Park is huge. In the edge areas of the park and at dusk you need a good mosquito spray. There are many small deciduous frogs in the meadow. Karim was a really warm and helpful host. He knows the history of the house in every detail and is a very entertaining and fun conversationalist.

What an amazing place! It has been an unforgettable experience, the house met all our needs. But the best thing was meeting Sonia and Simone. We felt like being part of the family. Thank you very much!

We are a family of 5 and absolutely loved staying in Pierina's Airbnb. The place was clean, beautifully situated write at the lake, and we felt very welcome. We would definitely come back - can recommend!

The house looks good like on a picture. When we checked in , it was not cleaned up after previous guests, bus Susanne was responsive and organize quickly a cleaning lady and refund us cleaning fee . I’m satisfy with a stay. The only minus that you can’t park right in front of the house, might be uncomfortable if you carrying heavy things. I would definitely recommend this place to stay.

Very special house! Original. Lots of art in the house. Stunning views. All the facilities available Clean. Quiet village. Pool was lovely given the high temperatures! Surroundings are beautiful. Lots of beautiful walks made. Bicycles rented at 3 minutes' walking distance. Very nice people. Speak Italian and a little french. Great bike ride for mountain bikes made from the house. Electric support necessary. Very friendly reception. Technical defect was resolved very adequately and quickly.

A very nice accommodation, Markus is always available and very helpful. The accommodation is beautifully and stylishly furnished, the view is breathtaking. The location of the house is very great, as it gives you an even more beautiful and unforgettable view of Lake Maggiore and is in a very pleasantly quiet area. Markus is very nice and gladly helped us with the arrival and departure times, as we were on vacation with a baby; he had full understanding for this. In the accommodation itself, there were great magazines to read and a folder and several brochures that informed about the possible activities in the area. In addition, everything in the folder was well described (waste disposal, operating instructions, regulations for departure, etc.). We can only recommend the accommodation, thank you for the hospitality!

If I could give more stars I would. Me and my family loved it here, the photos do not do it justice at all. It’s absolutely stunning. It was clean, comfortable and just as described. We rented car and easily got to restaurants near by and the ferry. If we had questions we got prompt answers. Wonderful stay,

The house is in a beautiful area with a view on the lake. The pictures don’t even show how big the garden is. The kitchen is well equipped and all the rooms are air-conditionned. We had a great time here!

We had a fabulous 5 night stay in this beautiful house. The views from the terrace’s & balconies over Lake Maggiore were sublime. The kitchen was superbly kitted out, allowing us cook meals. The pool & pool house are the knock-out parts to this lovely house. One cool addition was the car turntable at the bottom of the drive. The restaurants in Suna are a 20min downhill walk. Very pretty village on the lake. Pallanza was gorgeous… Highly recommend a stay here! We celebrated two birthdays whilst we were here. A trip filled with lots of special memories.

Stunning house with great views of the lake. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt very at home, as it had everything we needed. The weather was really hot and the pool was perfect for cooling off. Various garden furniture gave us a choice of locations around the grounds. We received a very warm welcome and Roberta was always quick to respond to our queries. Can highly recommend lunch at Ristorante Montesole nearby and we found the Coop in Luino our fave. The local market on Wed was also interesting. Would love to come back again

...it is no coincidence that this location deserves the best from every point of view...! ...a truly beautiful historic villa...where you can stay in absolute tranquility...pampered by Simion in every detail...! ...excellent value for money...very close to the lakes...it is really the ideal place to stay for a wonderful holiday...BRAVOS...!!! Carlo and the 12 cyclists from Cuneo...! WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!!
