Holiday rentals with a kayak in Canyon Lake

Love the place !! We all had a wonderful time .the nature ,the sounds of the woods ,birds .☺️ The host very helpful for all the questions we had .thank you so much

This place is the best! They have everything you could want! Comfy beds, a huge TV, reclining couches, a picture perfect backyard, a sweet cowboy pool, an awesome game room, and more. The best part is the nature trail to the neighborhood lake access. My friends caught 7 fish over the course of 3 days! All huge bass! This place rocked, we loved staying there!

Amy's place is a perfect place to stay! The house and yard was beautiful, with a river front view! We had a wonderful time staying here and hope to visit soon in the near future. Amy had everything you could need for a week long vacation. We are so thankful she let us stay at her place!

We had a fantastic weekend at this house! The home is beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. Everything was working perfectly — air conditioning, hot water, electricity, all utilities were in great shape. What really stood out was how well-equipped the house is. Literally everything you can think of for a weekend near the lake is there. From practical touches like mosquito repellent placed by the picnic table, a hose to rinse your feet, to extra chairs and fun games to enjoy with family or friends — everything was thoughtfully arranged. Although the lake is currently at a low level due to dry season, we still had a great time. You can reach the lake on foot by a short trail (about 5 minutes from the house), or drive 5min to one of the nearby parks with easier access and more infrastructure. Tim, the host, was very responsive, helpful, and friendly throughout our stay. We truly enjoyed the house and would absolutely come back in the future. Highly recommend!

Family stay was comfortable and the deer nearby were a big hit. Lots of natural beauty and host was a proactive communicator for checkin.

Good host, quick to respond. House was clean and well stocked. River is easily the best part. Steep walk but concrete and steel stairwell make access easy. Ankle deep water to at most waste deep. Located at a v of a river. lot of area to hang out in. Lots of shady trees near the river edge. Might need to bring a tent if you plan you stay in one spot and not move ALL day due to the sun moving but can definitely get by on what’s there. It was a great time. Also a big porch hangout area with lots of space.

Nice, clean and private. Great big windows in the front of the house, We requested window shades for privacy at night, completed, and very responsive. There was a minor issue with the heating, fixed, very responsive! There was a small issue with the dryer, fixed, very responsive! The deer 🦌 were our special guests, they visited us every morning and throughout the day until sunset. The area has septic systems therefore we suggest drinking bottled water. The east window has a great view of the sunrise! Ample space for a family with kids with the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom. Cable service was great, never had dropping problems. Very close to restaurants and retail stores. Unfortunately, due to the drought they have been experiencing for the last couple of years, we were unable to enjoy any water activities in the Canyon Lake. There is no water activity at all. Colin is a wonderful host and his home was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and had a great time watching all the wild life.

This place is absolutely perfect! We had the best weekend here!! Beautiful, clean home. No issues at all. Plenty to do indoors or out. Didn’t have to or want to leave the place. Had HEB deliver groceries first thing! It was a very nice, relaxing stay for us. Gorgeous grounds and location. Kids had a blast in the water and out. We definitely want to be back as soon as we are able! (:

This is probably one of the better Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed at. It’s obvious they have put in the effort and took the time to truly understand how hospitality operates. The Casitas are perfectly situated location wise, and are all new construction with modern amenities. Being able to walk down to the river where there’s a fireplace as well as having a fireplace outside your back door was truly a treat as they provide plenty of firewood and such. They also have a golf cart rental available, which I do suggest if you plan on staying a few days. Make sure to pay attention to their local recommendations as all of them were very true. We are already planning our return trip.

My husband and I loved the little cabin, very clean and comfortable. It’s private and very quiet. It has everything that we needed in order to make our stay more enjoyable. Everyone was very polite and helpful, whether it was through the people at Evolve and Ms. Hilda. They are polite, quick to answer any questions, and all instructions are very easily understood. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage! It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The setting was peaceful and private—perfect for unwinding. The host was very responsive and thoughtful, providing clear check-in instructions and great local recommendations. We especially loved JPS Wimberley BBQ—it was delicious! And spending time at the river was truly amazing. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Stone Cottage was such a peaceful retreat for us to recharge for a few days. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck and floating in the pool surrounded by nature and tons of birds. Birders- bring your binoculars! We had some gorgeous sunsets too. We didn't bring our paddle boards but it's a good spot for all levels to paddle (or kayak) just plan to bring everything down to the dock for the day so you only have to make the hike back up to the house one time- it's steep and rocky but doable. Your reward is cooling off in the pool at the end of the day.

It’s like staying at grandmas lake house. Gorgeous location. I could’ve stayed forever waking up to the amazing backyard. The owners take impeccable care of the yard. We had a great time fishing and barbecuing.

Great place! This is exactly the perfect spot if you wanted to get away and did not have any plans. It was very peaceful. The trail was empty when we arrived but had a lot of water the next day. There was a hot tub that was available and it was wonderful. Sean and Ren were great hosts.

ABSOLUTELY FELL IN LOVE with this place. It is very spacious clean and the bet park right in the middle of nature. Being right on the river, you are immersed in nature, think of camping but with your own personal bathroom and air conditioned room when you want to chill. we had fun in the water kayak, swimming, tubing, fishing. we did it all and had a blast. Erin herself was informative and so kind. She is such a sweetheart. Honestly there are nothing but positive things to say!! We will definitely be back!!! The best time!!

Please improve the check instructions for people like me, suggest: Self check in with lockbox. Code will be sent via email/ text. This would have avoided the one small issue we had. As soon as the booking is approved if it were my rental, code would be sent in the app, via text and email, which eliminates any plausible deniability. Loved this little place. Mini splits are very quiet! Blake appreciated all feedback we had to make the stay better for others. I loved that all the switches were marked! Additionally note parking in front of property

The river was amazing!! we absolutely had the best birthday trip with the kiddos. The stairs leading up and down are NO joke - but TOTALLY worth the hike for the amazing river access. We will definitely be back and stay longer ^_^ beautiful deck and space was just what we needed and then some.

Loved the cabin! It was very cute and cozy. Lots of places nearby and the double deck was absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to book another stay.
