THE BEST! My first view out the small terrace was possibly the most beautiful I will ever see: a large mountainside of fields, olive and grape vineyards, quaint homes and large monasteries, winding roads and long high speed passenger trains! Inside, the design and materials of this home cannot be beat: a beautiful combination of 3000 year old history stocked full of modern comforts! Open the doors and windows and feel the breeze waft through smelling of honeysuckle and jasmine. Giovanni’s Castle on the Rock is just amazing. We especially were interested in the Orvieto tuff caves dug by the Bronze Age Etruscans. Beneath our feet were two floors of these caves, beautifully finished and lit with marble and tile floors and steps. Nearby were two more remarkable systems of caves: Il Labirinto and Della La Cava. The latter is less than a block away. Both are far better than the Orvieto Underground! Treat yourselves to this delightful discovery! It’s the perfect rest stop in a medieval city!

One of the cutest Airbnbs we've ever stayed at! Beautiful inside and out - the view from the white table outside is incredible - it is absolutely bliss to look out on when you're having a morning coffee or evening wine! Sabrina was a wonderful host, who gave excellent directions to meet her and get to the apartment, and there was a lovely gift basket of snacks and wine, which was much appreciated after a long day of train and bus travel :) We would 100% recommend staying here if you're visiting Orvieto. Grazie mille Sabrina!

Great accommodation. It is an escape from the city with beautiful surrounding farmland, whilst Orvieto is a short drive away and a beautiful visit in itself. The place can be enjoyed in complete privacy. Another important aspect is that the garden is completely fenced, which allowed me to enjoy the property & my holiday without having to worry about my dogs getting out. Leonardo & Laura are friendly & responsive hosts, and made me feel right at home.

We stayed seven nights in the accommodation and felt comfortable. The communication was very good and Maurizio helpful and the reception warm (including cake). The house and the surroundings are very beautiful, you have a great view of the countryside and can take small hikes from the house. There are seating areas on the terrace, in the sun and in the shade of trees. Supermarkets and Orvieto are quickly accessible by car. Excursions to Bolsena and Civita di Bagnoregio, which can be reached within half an hour's drive, are recommended. Unfortunately, we could not use the pool because the weather was still too cool. We highly recommend this property.

The Wine Loft is incredibly peaceful and beautiful. The modern architecture is gorgeous and the views are magical. We traveled by trains and it was easy to take a taxi (arranged by the Wine Loft) from the station. Additionally, we enjoyed walking the country path through the woods and meadow to Bagno Vignoni. We highly recommend this beautiful property. The wines were a phenomenal addition to the stay.

Mr. Piero's place is located in the hills just outside Orvieto and enjoys a beautiful view. The place is ideal for those who, like us, have a dog, even large, because the property is fenced and the space available to dogs is really spacious. The apartment has everything you need to spend a relaxing stay, surrounded by nature. The location is strategic to visit several destinations of Umbria, Maremma and Tuscia. Mr. Piero was a kind and helpful host, with whom it was always easy to communicate. 100% recommended

Exactly what we were looking for. We loved that the house was 2km off the main road and that we were on-our-own to enjoy the beautiful view and peach and quiet. The house was sometimes a bit chilly when we stayed there in April. However, the space heaters helped a lot and overall we really enjoyed the home and surroundings.

Antonella's house was a perfect vacation spot for us. to start I must say that the pictures do not do justice to the place, being located on the hilltop, providing suggestive view in all directions. the kitchen was well equiped, the rooms were big and comfy, board games in the living room and a ball to play outside. but all this is nothing compared to the charming hospitality of Antonella and ulli that sheard products from their garden with us welcoming us with wine and cheese Thay make on the farm. this place is a jem of a vacation for kids as well. the location was also very good, 20 min from Orvieto with plenty of dining options supermarkets and we also found a lovely bakery down hill in chiconia. most recommend especially if you like the idea of airbnb being hosted by the owner who really cares for his guests.
