Cwt Glo is a cosy and peaceful cottage for two in Northern Snowdonia nestled between two mountain ranges the Carneddau and Glyderau. Cwt Glo is situated in a small village near Bethesda called Mynydd Llandygai. There is private off road parking next to the cottage. Cwt Glo is Welsh for Coal house and the cottage was the place where the coal was weighed and measured. The property has been both a farm and coal yard for the local area. Cwt Glo is a semi sustainable/off grid cottage it has a solar and wind system however there is the backup of mains electricity. There is also an LPG central heating and hot water system. The cottage has a wood burning stove to keep you cosy and warm in the evening after a busy day exploring the local area. We also provide the wood for your stay.

The location of the house is perfect especially if you’re looking to go on for walks and long hikes. Easy access and to get to. The house had everything we need. As a group we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to anyone looking to travel within the area.

Lovely stay here in the Welsh countryside. Joanna’s place was cute and comfy and full of charm. I am cautious of booking places that allow pets because of allergies but the place was lovely and clean. Wouldn’t have known that pets were allowed (apart from the supplies they had in the utility area). Great extras fr kids as well (toys , and kids plates/bowls)

The location is perfect for anyone wanting to get away from it all and explore the local mountains, rivers, waterfalls and more. Thoughtfully equipped with everything needed.Very comfortable and very cosy. Huw the host was very responsive and helpful and I had an amazing week. I would absolutely recommend Cosy Cottage. 180° Sea Views-3 Minute Drive to Town.

Martin & Helen are fabulous hosts. They responded quickly to any messages sent and have been welcoming and friendly. We stayed at their stunning airbnb for 4 nights and had a fantastic time. The views are absolutely stunning, they include The Great Orme, Little Orme, Sea views and Llandudno town. The outside area was perfect! Not overlooked and very peaceful. Accommodation was spotlessly clean, very comfy bed and the shower was amazing! The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. My friend and I are keen walkers and explored The Great Orme on the first day. This is doable from the accommodation if you have relatively good fitness. Town centre is approximately a 40 minute walk away but did see buses on the main road. The Penrhyn Arms is a 15 minute walk away and served wood-fired pizza in a great beer garden. We couldn't pass up the opportunity to do The Little Orme as it's very close by. Overall a fantastic place which we will surely return to. Thank you, Vicky & Alison

We had a wonderful time at the cosy cottage. The log burner and beautiful surrounding were everything we were hoping for. Access to beautiful hikes, Llanberis region, and Anglesey were all within a 30 minute drive. The accomodation made us feel right at home. We even played a game of scrabble over breakfast. We would highly recommend.

Had a lovely stay in the studio, it’s spacious and very comfortable. Short drive away from nearby towns and close to the start of many hiking routes. Gilly was a very responsive and friendly host throughout our stay, providing lots of helpful guidance as well - thank you!
