Apartment holiday rentals in Castro

We contacted Anna Maria at short notice after another booking fell through. She responded right away and got the apartment ready for us so quickly. It was a lifesaver. Anna Maria and her husband were so friendly, helpful and responsive throughout our stay! The apartment is really lovely - modern with all comforts. Everything was very clean and quiet. The location is great, just a few minutes' walk from the historical centre of Lecce and close to some great restaurants. We took our kids and they loved it too. Thank you so much Anna Maria! We hope to see you again some time!

Lecce is a beautiful city, and this huge place in the heart of it was a wonderful spot for our family to stay. High ceilings, charming garden (and kitties!), period kitchen (updated with modern conveniences), beautiful mosaic floors - lots of old world charm!

Best experience ever with Airbnb! The house looks even better than it looks in the photos, simply perfect: new and quality appliances, mosquito nets in every window, huge terrace, every type of kitchen utensil imaginable, food scale etc. But Carlo is the highlight of the house! Amazing host, NEVER gave bad advice: restaurants, beaches, grocery stores, bars, experiences etc. He made us discover some incredible gems. He is also always available, with quick responses and audio messages as if they were sent by a friend. I'm usually a very private person on vacation and never seek contact with hosts, but it was really a pleasure with him. I can't wait to see him again!

Absolutely wonderful stay! The apartment is beautifully designed, with great attention to detail that made it feel both cozy and elegant. Every corner was spotless and thoughtfully arranged, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. One of the best things about this place is its perfect location. Everything you might need—shops, restaurants, and main attractions—is just a short walk away. Despite being so central, the neighborhood is calm and safe, and we had no trouble finding street parking nearby, which was a huge plus. If you’re looking for a stylish, well-kept place in a fantastic area, this is it. Highly recommended!

Excellent accommodation! We are used to renting Airbnbs but it has been a long time since we have had such a service: decoration that makes us feel like we are in a real home and not in an "industrial" rental; everything was there to cook, whether ingredients or basic utensils; Massimo had even left us fruit from his tree; the accommodation was clean; the bedding comfortable and the terrace very pleasant. Great communication so that the stay goes well!

Very good stay, the area is beautiful and conducive to beautiful swims, the accommodation is perfect with a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea.

Cozy apartment near the center and yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle. We enjoyed the stay very much, Domenico instructed us very well in the house rules and was always easily accessible. If we come back to Otranto, we would book the apartment again. Thank you for everything!

Thank you Pasquale and Paolo for the welcome and the stay. Everything was perfect! The apartment already looked nice in photos but it was even better in real life. The decor, the shower, and the kitchen had been redone. They had planned everything necessary for our stay with our baby: changing table, baby bath, high chair, folding bed, blender for puree, stroller and even a parasol and 2 folding chairs (which allowed us to discover the sandy beach, 5 min walk from the apartment). Parking in the garden, sea view, fully equipped kitchen. Washing machine and coffee machine with pods as well. Everything was very well thought out for us to have a good vacation. They even provided a map and recommended many nice places. The apartment was also very clean. We will be happy to come back for our next stay and 100% recommend their accommodation

I was in Melendugno for a course, only 4 days with some free time to go to the beach. Annamaria is very nice, she was very considerate to make me feel good, with very good suggestions for various events in the area and tips on transportation and places. She was extremely flexible with departure times, when I was in trouble with the shuttle to the airport she adapted with so much kindness to my needs. I had a great time in the house, it's spacious, quiet and clean, you immediately feel at home. I was so sorry to leave, and I hope to be back soon.

The house is absolutely pleasant, well located and there is everything you need for a relaxing family vacation. It is located not far from the historic center of Lecce and is easily accessible. The homeowner really helped us with a problem that occurred on the morning of our departure. Thank you!

Giuseppe’s apartment is a real gem. Very well appointed and spacious. Big bedroom and living area. Great kitchen with all amenities. The balcony is fantastic with great views and we sat and had many beers while looking at the sea. Giuseppe was very quick to respond to any message and left us a lovely gift. Price was also very reasonable and I would not hesitate to recommend this place on the stunning town of Otranto.

We have been travelling to Italy for years - and this is one of the greatest apartments we have ever stayed in. Unlike in many other flats, everything in Ulrike’s place is exceptional: the design which is vintage yet timeless, spotless standard of hygiene and little things that make you feel welcomed. Ulrike prepared small welcome and goodbye gifts and was ready to answer all of our questions. The view from the apartment is wonderful and gives you an opportunity to rest from the sun. The flat is located in the very heart of Nardo: the town is lively and wonderful, yet the apartment is very quiet. It is also sunny and spacious, we will definitely return! ❤

My wife and I just had an absolutely delightful 1-night stay in this ground floor apartment in the Old Town. Alberto was welcoming & helpful and assisted us with access remotely which was very straightforward. The apartment is very smart & immaculately clean. It’s in a really quiet area of the Old Town. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and we didn’t need to use any air-conditioning in mid-May. The walk-in shower was a delight. There’s just enough kitchen cooking equipment & cutlery for a couple. Parking is outside the Old Town; we found a car park within 3-mins walk to the apartment. Alberto’s tip to download the EasyPark app was absolutely great; it was so easy to pay for the cheap parking and also start a new session the next day from our apartment. There’s a washing machine (washer-dryer) in the apartment which is chargeable at an additional €5. We highly recommend this property for a perfect stay.

Franco is a nice host and Otranto is a peacefull place with great restaurants

We had a great experience at Villa Regina and loved the apartment as well as the swimming pool. Great host and quick to accommodate any of our requests. 10 minutes away from downtown Gallipoli and withing walking distance from a groceries shop. Highly recommended.

The house is a two-minute walk from the beach and this convenience is perfect for those who want to take a secluded vacation; but the location is also strategic for those who want to visit more nearby places, given the proximity of numerous beaches and coves reachable in less than 30 minutes by car. In addition, the place is as seen in the images: clean, spacious, and comfortable. The landlord was helpful and friendly for the entire stay.

Based on the pictures and the price, we already had high expectations. These expectations have been completely exceeded. It was really unprecedented, if you go to southern Italy, this is a MUST GO. So welcoming, such a nice tenuta, delicious breakfast every morning and attention was paid to everything, they really take an extra step to make you feel completely welcome and at home. We have been there our first 10 days of vacation to discover the south of Puglia. It is perfectly located for that, we have explored all the nice places in the area all less than an hour away. The only thing I regret is that we have booked this accommodation to start the holiday with, I am now writing this review from our second accommodation and it really falls into nothing compared to Tenuta San Trifone. I sincerely don't think you're going to find a better place to stay in the south of Puglia. Emanuele, Laura and the rest of the family, super thank you, it was great!

Very beautiful masseria, in a peaceful environment in the middle of the cicadas. the accommodation is pleasant and functional with a small private terrace well oriented for breakfast. the common areas are also very pleasant, especially the pool and the ping pong table :) Francesco and Sylvia are very friendly. Thank you to them for being very accommodating.

Fantastic. The apartment is clean and modern and host Stefania is very friendly and helpful. She is willing to answer all your questions and give extra information about the city. For us as users of the public transport the location is perfect. The train station is a fifteen minute walk. Within ten minutes you are in center of Lecce where you can view the beautiful city and enjoy all the delicious food that the region has to offer. The apartment itself is large with a separate bedroom and spacious areas to eat and sit comfortably. There is a small kitchen and a corner with a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster. We were very curious about the private pool but it exceeded all our expectations! It's nice to cool off on hot day but it is even big enough for swimming a few small laps. The terrace is spacious, really private and has morning sun. The region has a lot to offer and we certainly didn't get bored in a week. So there is a good chance that we will return to this apartment!

Beautiful stay in Salento, we rented the apartment for 5 (4 adults and a child) and it was perfect for our needs. The fantastic pool, apartment equipped with all comforts. Top area to visit Salento. We'll be back!

Fantastic stay. Warm welcome with extensive tips on what to do in the area. Apartment was very neat and well equipped with stuff to make a meal yourself. Swimming pool very clean and a very nice view over the area. Breakfast was very good; huge variety of savory and sweet foods. Stay highly recommended.

We had a very good time in this beautiful apartment. The apartment is located in a very quiet village. A road through olive groves takes you to beautiful cliffs and bays within an 8 minute drive. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. There are three bedrooms and each room has its own bathroom. There is a local bakery nearby as well as bars, restaurants and a supermarket. I would definitely stay in the apartment again!
