Lovely place to stay in a peaceful village, with easy walks to beautiful Hope Cove and beyond. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable and relaxing. We really appreciated the little extra touches to make us feel welcome. Lovely owners. Our dog loved it too!

absolutely stunning place in the beautiful moorlands. Very private, close to the river and lots of horses, sheep a cows nearby. The garden is huge and the kids(and grownups) loved it. Great facilities, well equipped kitchen. Wendy was most helpful and very quick to respond. We might well make it an annual trip.

A delightful secluded residence facing out over farmland. Although there is a farm and there are homes in converted farm buildings close by, you would hardly know they were there; the property has a separate entrance to the main farm that it shares with one other dwelling, which again you would hardly know was there. The property is as described and well equipped. Although the garden is very small, this is not really a problem with so much open countryside on the doorstep. Rich George was very helpful, responding quickly to our queries before arrival and welcoming us warmly with helpful advice when we got there but otherwise leaving us to enjoy our holiday. The climbing roses surrounding the decked area were divine. We can recommend North Sands beach as a paradise for dogs if they like the water; our visit was in early June and, on all but one occasion, we managed to park in one of the four road side parking spaces at the top of the beach (free for 2 hours) rather than pay to use

We wanted to get away from it all in a part of Dartmoor we hadn't been to before and Steve's place seemed to fit the bill. When we got there, we found that it more than met our expectations! The Barn was exactly what we were looking for: a wonderful peaceful location and extremely comfortable and very well-equipped accommodation. The big selling point for us was the fact that the Barn was on lots of well-mapped walks, so that we could go on lovely walks in all directions without having to get in the car. Steve and Tessa were the perfect hosts; they made us feel most welcome and we found we had a lot in common. We very much enjoyed our short stay and look forward to returning to the Barn before long to explore the area further.

Annie and Paddy were really helpful when answering questions and the house was lovely peaceful and tranquil. We loved watching the birds and wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

We had a beautiful stay at this place. It was perfect for a group of friends wanting to explore parts of Cornwall. The place was spacious and airy, and we had a great time using the hot tub! The place was tidy and it was a very comfortable stay. Connor was very responsive and helpful, and gave clear instructions and was always there to answer. The place was very near to Eden Project, just 15 minute drive and other places with spectacular beaches and small coastal towns. We would highly recommend!

We had booked in for a very short stay of only two nights but we wish it had been longer, much longer. We cannot fault The Signal Box; everything to make a stay pleasant, convenient and enjoyable had been thought of. The exceptional view, the history of Luckett Station, the friendly sheep, the hot-tub, the superbly comfortable bed - all combined to make this an experience that we will remember for a long time to come. The entire property was beautifully kept, with immaculate gardens and a very high standard inside. The instructions for access on arrival to the property were clear and easy to follow and the business is obviously very well run. Definitely worth recommending to others and a return visit. The 3 bedroom lodge is spacious and has everything you need with the exception of a washing machine. 3 generations of family were happy with the 4 night stay, it was clean and had the finishing touches such as cornish tea and coffee, some biscuits and cleaning materials. The food at the Fort Inn was fantastic with incredibly large portions. There is very little to do here so you will need to be prepared to climb lots of steps to the car park to head out regularly to explore more widely.

Had a lovely stay at Hilsea, I had trouble finding it but then I listended to sat nav and not enough to Patsys instructions. Noss Mayo is a lovely village, not much in the way of shops which I liked, great pubs. Stoke Beach which is wakable from the house is by far the nicest we stopped at. Surfing Cow, 10 minutes away, is a must visit. The pool is truly heated which surprised me. Would really recommend this as a holiday spot. We'd like to return.

Just spent a long weekend with family at this amazing place, it really has the wow factor! Beautiful countryside views, lovely tastefully decorated accommodation, with a fantastic pool and hot tub. It’s such a peaceful beautiful location. We enjoyed early morning walks to watch the cows come back from milking and listening to the owls hooting at night. Melanie is such a lovely lady, so warm and friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. We enjoyed our stay so much we didn’t want to leave and will definitely be returning. Toby’s place is a lovely holiday lodge on the Honicombe holiday park. It’s in pristine condition and the hosts, Kevin and Tina, were lovely going above and beyond to make it a great stay. It’s well located for exploring Dartmoor and Cornish coast. Our favourite beach was Tregantle and we also enjoyed the Merrivale stones. Honicombe park is great for kids with use of an indoor and outdoor pool that come free with the cottage, a pub offering good value meals and loads of play areas.

Lovely bungalow. Nice and clean and the beds were really comfy (stayed in a lot of Air BnBs and they a rent always!!). Site was lovely, have family close by so would love to go back again next time we visit.

Lovely spacious well appointed apartment in a beautiful historic house with stunning gardens. The games room and pool are a real bonus. Lovely village setting with shop.

The property was as described and we found it beautifully decorated and stacked with useful equipment. The kitchen had all the cooking tools you could need for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed our visit and found plenty of room to host family for dinner. Thank you for making this a real home from home! We shall be back. Thank you.

We had the most incredible stay at this property. The views alone were some of the best we’ve ever experienced, with the deck overlooking the sea. The beach is a short walk down the cliff side from the property (the walk back up is a workout to say the least, especially on a boiling hot day!) and a stroll across the sand couldn’t have been more peaceful. Christian was a great host and was quick to respond to any questions. This is the perfect place to switch off, with bedrooms with great views and a spacious living room and kitchen. The only thing we’d suggest is possibly bringing your own essentials, such as milk, butter and cooking bits as local shops are about a 15 minute drive. Overall we can’t recommend this place enough, we really needed to reset after a hectic few months and we finally managed to here for which we are so grateful.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely apartment in Cawsand! It was perfect for a family getaway clean, comfortable, and really well-equipped, especially if you’re travelling with kids. The location was ideal too right on the beach and the car park makes it really easy to unload. Highly recommend for families looking for a peaceful coastal break!

We stayed for 1 week. The room was perfect and private, so not overlooked. The area has lots of coastal pathways to explore and there are 4 nice pubs to eat and drink in at the end. The beach areas are really nice and good for swimming. Car parking at Cawsand was so cheap at £9.20 for a whole week and about 5-10mins walk from the room. The area is a great base to venture out of to many different Cornish villages. This house really was a great place to just sit and look at the amazing sea views

We absolutely loved our stay - the location is incredible. It was such as pleasure being able to explore Penlee Point's many caves, beeches and woods and then being able to walk "home" to such a lovely warm, cosey and amazing house. Although it was January we spent a lot of time of the very local beech paddling, skimming stones and exploring.

Thanks for a wonderful stay in Cawsand. The house was perfect. The views outstanding plus a beautiful restaurant downstairs and 3 pubs across the villages to eat, drink and relax. Not to be outdone, the kitchen dining area was well-equipped for family meals, including the delicious local shellfish and fresh fish. Convenient to get to Plymouth - as the ferry stops just down the beach. In short, we loved it! The set up, the location and the relaxed and calm atmosphere of the village was exactly what we needed. Highly recommend - one of the very best properties we’ve ever stayed in. All the best Steve and family.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Jodie’s charming cottage in Kingsand! The location is unbeatable—right by the sea just steps from the beach. Waking up to and enjoying breakfast in the sunny courtyard was pure bliss. The cottage itself was immaculate, stylishly decorated with a cozy, nautical vibe, and equipped with everything we needed, from a well-stocked kitchen to superfast Wi-Fi. The host was incredibly responsive and provided great local tips—we loved exploring the coastal paths and popping into the nearby Devonport Inn for a delicious meal. Kingsand is such a picturesque, unspoilt village, and this place made our stay truly memorable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing Cornish escape! 5 stars
