Beachfront holiday rentals in Cawsand

It was a real treat to get to stay in such an historic property with amazing views and outdoor space! They have gone out of their way to make this quirky, old cottage into a small oasis - comfy sitting room, strong wifi, plenty of hot water, comfy bed, dish washer, etc. It was great to walk parts of the Coastal Path and come back to our cozy lodging. Definitely book the private parking if you can, it is already a bit difficult without going all the way to the public parking.

Booked Driftwood for a 3 night stay to celebrate special birthday. It did not disappoint, we absolutely loved it wished we could have stayed longer. The view is beautiful and ever changing, so much interest. Lovely walks on the doorstep. Stunning trio of beaches. We had our elderly dog with us so swam twice a day on the main Bovisands beach which was was a lovely gentle 5 mins walk away. I should add that sea glass hunting on the beach immediately in front of the chalet was amazing! The chalet was warm, clean, really well equipped, lovely little kitchen, great shower, comfy bed and delightful lounge diner. Highly likely that we will be back. Thank you.

We had the most amazing week with our 4 boys at The Old Guard in May. We have been renting various properties in Hope Cove for many years. Wendy's property is now our absolute favourite!! Not only did we have fabulous weather but the location is just perfect for getting out on the kayaks etc The warm outdoor shower is brilliant for when you get back! The balcony is very large and a great space! The views from the balcony are spectacular and the sunsets incredible. The kitchen had everything you need. They utility area with washer and dryer is very useful staying with a family. The property was really well designed & clean and comfortable to stay in. Wendy had said the parking would be tight, but we got our 2 vehicles in no problem just a bit of time to go back and forth and one is a long wheelbase Mercedes Vito! We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again! Thank you Wendy for all your messages and prompt replies when we had any questions.

Wow! What an amazing place this is - it’s even more beautiful than the pictures! Jo and David are wonderful hosts, David even met us at the car park and helped up carry our bags down to the property. Great communication from Jo before we arrived with really clear instructions, super flexible with arrival time. We had the most wonderful weekend and will absolutely be back, can’t fault it, absolutely no negatives.

Everything exactly as described. Was such a unique and beautiful location, perfect accommodation for the 4 of us over the week. Enough places within a short walk to have breakfast, lunch or dinner plus the ability walk a round trip loop along the entire beach at low tide. Really enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend.

A fantastic location, right in the heart of Boscastle. Space was comfortable and all that we needed. Outdoor space a real bonus and car parking. Easy access to local places of interest. Range of games and books were great, even a cricket bat. Easy access and check in. We will definitely stay again as often visit this part of Cornwall.

Quaint little coastal themed apartment full of amenities and all essentials to make trip stress free. Easily connected to local day trips and 10 mins to nearest small town with lots of food options. Friendly hosts welcomed us and gave great suggestions for things to do in local area - would recommend to friends & family

Wow! What an amazing apartment with a view to match. Such a stunning position on the estuary. It was pristinely clean, stylish decorated and furnished and felt so welcoming. Waking up to that view - especially from your bed every morning - was a pure treat. Thank you Anna for all the lovely goodies you left for us and our dog Teddy. She was so happy with the treats and luxurious dog bed you kindly supplied in the apartment - such a special touch - thank you. We hope we can return to Oyster Catcher very soon, it’s such a beautiful place to rest, relax and watch the boats sail by.

A beautiful apartment! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how clean, stylish, and thoughtfully designed everything was. The space felt both cozy and luxurious, with tasteful decor, beautiful sea view, and all the amenities you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The location was also perfect and nice having the hotel next door. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. We really enjoyed our stay at Thurlstone. The apartment was ideally located on the beach making it easy for easy beach fun for the kids. They went rockpooling, swimming and made sandcastles every day. We enjoyed the views of the sunset while having dinner and drinks on the balcony. The flat was bright and spacious. We felt safe and had a comfortable stay with everything that a family of five would need. Our host was responsive, accommodating and friendly. We would stay again in a heartbeat :)

It was so lovely to arrive ,open the door and be wowed by the place , it was comfortable and clean and Susanne had left some nice treatsfor us .she was available to contact for any questions and very friendly ,i would definately recomend her

A stunning location right in the centre of town, with very high quality accomodation which really makes the most of the position with amazing views of the estuary. Breakfast on the balcony watching the boats go by was a real highlight, and being able to access the water from the carpark made paddle boarding a breeze. Will definitely be back.

We’ve just got back from a wonderful week at Nicki’s beautiful apartment. The views were incredible! Our boys loved watching the sea tractor going back and forth from Burgh Island, and letting us know when the tide was out and the Beach Barista was there! There was something incredibly magical looking out to Burgh Island, and we miss those views already! The apartment was beautifully presented and furnished to a very high standard. The whole set up is fantastic, and it was an added bonus to have dedicated use of the pool, gym and Deck restaurant. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous home with us. We’d love to return! This is the second year we’ve stayed here and we can’t wait to visit again. The apartment is a perfect visiting the surrounding towns and beaches. South Milton beach is literally on your doorstep with great access to the south west coastal path. The outdoor heated pool was lovely for days when the sea was just a little bit too cold and the balconies were ideal for the amazing sunsets.

Very comfortable place with spectacular view over the ocean (the sunset!). Unfortunately we had to shorten our stay and wish we could have stayed longer to explore more of the area. The kitchen is well equipped and we were able to make the evening meals at the house which was convenient as we were travelling with a baby.

Great location just a short walk to the sea. Cosy, well-equipped space with everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed here a week and were so lucky with the weather. The chalet was clean and very well equipped and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the sea views, watching all kinds of craft sail by and the beautiful sunsets. For us we found the perfect balance of relaxation and activity. So many walks from the door. We returned home refreshed, thank you for sharing this perfect little hideaway by the sea.

A very nice top floor apartment with glorious views of Plymouth Sound - it's hard to imagine a better location. Parking is very easy. Strongly recommended.

A fabulous apartment, sensational view, spotlessly clean and some thoughtful touches on our arrival. Directions and check in arrangements were very clear and hosts followed up after to check in to make sure everything was OK. The 50 steps up to the apartment is slightly daunting, especially after a long cycle ride or coastal path walk ... but the view and immaculate furnishings more than make up for it! The added benefit of a balcony and dedicated parking space added to a perfect stay. Would recommend without hesitation.

its a fab flat in a fab place .. lots to see and do .. the Seco lounge and bistro pierres to eat and ferry to Mt Edgecomb for walks ..

We had a gorgeous week away here at Yardley house! Our dogs loved playing in the garden and at the beach which was a 2 min walk from the house! Mark was very helpful and shown us where everything was which was great. I cannot fault this location or the impeccable views!

What a clean, beautiful cottage in such calm surroundings - we've enjoyed every minute. The cottage was perfect - clean and tidy with stunning nautical decor, we felt right at home the minute we walked in. The view of the sea is much better than described - a highlight for me was sitting in bed drinking my morning coffee watching the waves! The beach is a 2 minute walk away and we had it pretty much to ourselves. Sadly we didn't catch a glimpse of the local dolphins! The garden is full of beautiful flowers - the access is from the road up a path with steps thru the garden. The kitchen had everything we needed in the way of utensils/cutlery/crockery, the bedrooms were clean with fresh bedding, the lounge was well stocked with games/books/dvds which the kids loved. Nick was extremely responsive and proactive, very helpful when I messaged him, and we were very grateful for a bit of flexibility on checkout. Overall a lovely relaxing experience - can't wait to return!! Thank you!

Perfect location. Private but with everything you need a short drive away. Beautiful apartment. Very good facilities and slept like a log. Was lovely to sit listening to the waves. Be careful when driving to the apartments as there are beautiful deer and i got some amazing photographs of them. I would definitely go back and would not hesitate recommending the apartment.

Just back from a fantastic three nights at Paul’s place. The location of the house is fabulous, just 1-2 minutes walk from the beach. It felt very homely and comfortably sleeps 8 Breakfast on the balcony overlooking the sea and beach was sublime. Drinks up in the bar on the top decking at the back of the house in the evening with stunning views was real bonus. There are plenty of games to keep you occupied and we didn’t turn the TV on, not once. A nice spacious kitchen and a dinning room table that sits 8. We walked over to Burgh Island for a lovely meal at The Pilchard. Had a dip in the sea. Played golf at the very friendly and welcoming Bigbury and Thurlestone golf clubs and rounded it all off with a final meal at The Oyster Shack, only 10 minutes drive away.
