Explore riverside and forest trails from your front door! The chateaux of Fontainebleau, Vaux-le-Vicomte, Courances and Rosa Bonheur are all a short drive away. Paris is 45 minutes by train.

A 5-minute walk from Fontainebleau-Avon train station, you are 40 minutes by train from Gare de Lyon (Paris). Close to shops (supermarket, organic grocery store, direct sale). Your hosts have made the recovery of family furniture a lifestyle, the atmosphere is that of a small family holiday home. This home has a balcony overlooking the forest and a sheltered courtyard.

During your trip, you will enjoy the vast landscaped garden as well as the large terrace inviting you to relax. The forest of Fontainebleau is at the end of the street for great walks. As for the Seine, it flows down the village and hosts bars and restaurants for a drink or a meal.

The Shepherdess's Cottage

The Gîte de la Bergère is located in the 10,000 m2 park of the "Plaîne de l'Angélus", facing the pool. It is rated 4 stars. The cottage is equipped to comfortably accommodate 4–6 people. It has a parking lot, two private terraces, one to relax and the other to dine outdoors. We provide our guests with a bowling green, ping pong table and badminton game. We lend free bikes to explore the surroundings
