Holiday rentals with beach access in Chania

If you want to stay in the main pedestrian zone in Chania this is the air bnb for you. You are right next to the harbor. You can see everything from the private roof terrace. I can see this air bnb in the post cards that I bought. This means you are in the perfect spot. John was amazing. He was very personable and responded quickly. We loved that the main restaurants where just a walk downstairs away. John's recommendation of Tamam had one of the best things I ate in Greece. If you are there try the Politiki Tamam (Pie with veal, pork, & cheese). If we are every back in Chania we will book this air bnb again.

The location is right in the heart of the town. Everything is in walking distance and the waterfront is very cute and lively. The apartment has amazing light and a great atmosphere. We enjoyed our time so much that we had to extend our stay.

Stop your search and book this place now-- Giorgos is simply the best. While checking in, he sat down with us to ask for what we like and provided local suggestions accordingly for restaurants, beaches, and activities he thought we might enjoy. We did every single one of his recs except for one because of time. He truly made us feel at home. As for the location-- the public marina that the house sits on is so charming, offering a taste of local life outside the touristy buzz. We went swimming every day, and rented a boat to check out a small island nearby. As for the place, it was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen remodel looks amazing, and we would have been comfortable staying there for a much longer period. We would happily stay here again, and cannot recommend this spot or our host strongly enough.

We had a nice stay. The location is excellent, very close to the harbor and in the middle of the charm of the old town. We would definitely stay here again.

There will not be enough superlatives to describe this place. The location overlooking the Venetian Harbor was amazing. The house is historic, beautiful and has all the amenities you will want. You literally won't believe the large rooftop deck with crazy views. The house had lots of interesting things to read, lots of space for a large group and it was stocked with maps and guidebooks. The neighborhood is completely safe. The in-person welcome from the hosts contained some really thoughtful surprises (you will need to find out yourself - I won't ruin the surprise welcome.). Excellent location, wonderful host and the amenities are as described. Litsa was so welcoming, gave us homemade bread/cake and also shared homemade lasagne with us. she also offered some toys for our little one and beach towels for us during our stay. highly recommend for the experience and location as restaurants and old town are a very short walk away. koum kapi beach is a 5 min walk as well. couldn't recommend enough..

Everything was great, the apartment was clean and we had everything we needed. The area is full of restaurants and things to do and although it is very animated, the apartment is located on a quiet street. Nasos was great!

We loved our stay here in Chania! Perfect location a bit outside main areas of the city (but walking distance to get there) and steps from the beach. Easy parking. Super friendly host!!

Everything described and shown of this property is undervaluing its delight. This is beautifully and perfectly placed in Chania. It has everything you need within the property, whether there's 1 or 5 staying. There's lots of do within easy walking distance, including the delicious Periplous restaurant down the road, the sea opposite, and that view!! --- blissfully divine perks of the location Antonis and Nikos are so helpful and considerate. Really great place with stunning view! Communication was really easy and Alexia was always available for questions. The neighbor is full of nice restaurants and we felt very welcomed overall.

We really enjoyed our stay at this vacation home. The location is quiet and offers a great view of the sea – perfect for unwinding. The house is tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need. The landlords were friendly and helpful and made the stay pleasant. All in all, a nice house for a relaxing beach vacation.

Easy to explore the old town. Located on the quieter side of the Venetian port. Services nearby. Too soft a bed in my opinion, but it's just a matter of sleeping.

We had a wonderful stay at the home in Chania. The communication was great from the moment we booked the reservation. The host made us feel very welcome and we appreciated all of the food/snacks/drinks provided. We were celebrating a special occasion and the host acknowledged this, remembering from our initial conversation, and left us some special treats and a card that we felt was above and beyond. The parking spot was great to have as we rented a car through Infinity at the host's recommendation. Even with the car, we walked the area and went to the Venetian Harbor everyday which was very close with shopping, restaurants, and people watching. We found the home to be clean and well represented by the pictures. The washer was a fantastic perk we utilized during our stay. We stayed in the lower level bedroom and found the bed to be very comfortable. We would recommend this listing and would stay here again if we returned to Chania.

Super clean, incredibly well-stocked, brilliant peaceful location on the water, thoughtful and responsive host. What more could you ask for? Our family of five had a wonderful time here and would definitely return. A great home with a terrific host!

The location and room are amazing, we had a great week here! Everything is as pictured/described if not better in person. The place was spotless when we arrived and the flexible check-in is great for if you have a later flight. Location could not be better as the old town (including the street outside) is so pretty and there is lots to do even without hiring a car. Thank you !

Our host was very careful for details, kitchen had all necessary stuff, fridge, etc. everything was clean. Host gift us welcoming gifts and that was lovely ❤️. Nice location, beach is close and you can go to supermarket in 10min on bus. And 25 min to Chania, bus stop is near. Living there was a pleasure.

This is absolutely our favorite Airbnb that we've ever stayed in (and we've stayed in a lot). The place is adorable. Katerina is very responsive and lives right by the apartment. The view is wonderful, and both the living room and twin bedroom have doors that open onto that view. It has everything you need and more, with Katerina providing treats and even cereal and milk for that first morning. The air conditioning worked well, but there is also a lovely breeze from the sea. There are tons of restaurants and cafes just below the apartment as well as with 5 and 10 minutes walk in Old Town. It would be comfortable for a couple and a third person (such as a child) or two people, each with their own room. The washing machine was great to have, and you can dry clothes on the lines off the balcony. We did not want to leave.

The place was perfect. It was clean and had everything we needed. It's very close to the beach and there are many shops nearby. The host Alkis was very polite and always answers within minutes if we needed anything. He went out of his way to help us when we needed a hand. Not to mention that he offered us a drive to the bus station.

This is really good (because it is difficult to find a parking space on the road nearby) This building is new and has a nice elevator The room is also very clean and cozy, fully equipped, there is also complimentary mineral water in the refrigerator, there is a full-length mirror in the bathroom, a makeup mirror in the bedroom, the hot water is very warm, the lights in the bedroom are also very bright, I like it here ~ I can hear a little bit of the traffic outside in the bedroom, but it's acceptable. It's just that I'm a light sleeper, so I noticed this. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

This place was amazing. A little sanctuary in a fabulous location: walk to the right and you are in the Old City, walk to the left and you are at the beach. Enjoyed the balcony with a quaint view of a garden, trees and the coffee maker. Truly had everything I needed for a great stay and the host was amazing as well. There are lockers to leave luggage before or after check in/out.

This Airbnb is just like the photos and worth the distance from Old Town (about 0.4 miles). The terrace wraps around the entire flat and has many seating options in sunshine and in shade. It’s surrounded by beautiful, well-cared for plants with a stunning view of the Sea of Crete and of Chania itself. You can take the stairs or there is an elevator. The hostess left some local treats for us as well as a lovely bouquet of flowers! Absolutely top notch! There is also air conditioning if the fresh air is too warm. The hostess was friendly and responsive. This was the best of 4 Airbnb’s we stayed in throughout Europe. The only thing to note is that the electricity is only on when the card is in the holder by the door. So, if you leave with the dryer or dishwasher running or charging devices, they will pause until you return.

Amazing stay in Chania at Nikos and Maria’s home. The apartment looks just like the photos with everything you could need. 23 minute walk to the city centre was perfect for us as a young couple and there’s always parking available. Massive balcony as well which is a nice addition. Overall lovely place and even nicer host who was always on hand to help out with local recommendations and info. Would stay here again.

From the start, Sia and her husband were very warm and welcoming. At check-in, they walked us through the apartment, which looked exactly like the photos. The view is fantastic from the front balcony. Everything was very clean. Loved that there were electronic blinds for most windows. We rented a car and there was a parking spot available for us in Sia's garage. We did find the bed a bit too hard for our tastes (to each their own!), and we sometimes had trouble with the wifi dropping in the main bedroom. Overall, we loved Sia's place and would stay there again!
