Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Civitella in Val di Chiana

Before arriving, Stephano informed me in detail if we would get lost, and he also carried a heavy carrier. A welcoming wine gift warmed our heart on the table. He also gave us detailed instructions on how to get on the bus to Florence and the bus stop. He wanted to tell us anything. In the old farmhouse, everything is prepared like a house for family, not travelers. I took pictures of the fantastic sunset and scenery. When I go back to Seoul and get tired of my daily life, I think I will reminisce about this picture. And thank you for the gifts, Nicoletta.

Hyggelig rummelig lejlighed så centralt som overhovedet muligt. Alt fungerer fint. God seng men ingen gode møbler at sidde, desværre. Men det er også det eneste minus.

Raffaella deserves an extra star on the reviews. She is a wonderful host, very welcoming and very responsive. She went out of her way to make dinner reservations for us, at two wonderful restaurants - both in walking distance from her airbnb. The apartment was quiet, clean, with beautiful views. We did a lovely bike ride from town and enjoyed the beauty and quiet at Raffaella’s place. And her regional breakfast was such a treat!!! We hope to come back!

È stato molto piacevole soggiornare con i miei amici nell’ alloggio di Tania con il parcheggio in strada , ma che sembrava quasi essere privato .L’appartamento , moderno e funzionale è pulito e ben attrezzato con un giardino curato . Lo consigliamo vivamente

Zona stupenda. La casa si trova nella fattoria della famiglia Pezzini, un borghetto con una ventina di persone che vi abitano, tra cui la famiglia stessa. Attorno ci sono i maiali di cinta senese, tipici della zona. Il borghetto è una chicca da scoprire, le persone stupende. La casa aveva tutti i comfort, ogni camera con il suo bagno privato, arredata con cura, perfetta per i gruppi di amici o le famiglie. Cristina, la proprietaria, è stata gentilissima e disponibile, e quando c’è stato un malfunzionamento con la jacuzzi su cui non è stato possibile intervenire subito (l’elettricista non arrivava prima di lunedì, ed era sabato) si sono scusati tantissimo e ci sono venuti incontro sul check out prolungato. Veramente una splendida scoperta. Torneremo molto volentieri.

The house is located on Chianti which views to vineyard and olive yard, the most beautiful view for an airbnb. Everything is fully furnished, a lot of welcome foods and drinks. The hosts give clearly instruction and very responsive. It was a wonderful time spending our holiday there.

We loved our stay. The host was amazing, and the house had everything we needed. The internet was very fast and supported my work requirements back in the USA. The views are spectacular, and the property is very private. Thank you, Irene, and family. I especially appreciated your help in getting me my new computer charger after mine broke. Passamos 5 dias na casa do Mario, que é simplesmente sensacional. Local aconchegante, espaçoso e com tudo o que você precisa para passar dias inesquecíveis na Toscana. Tem um quintal maravilhoso nos fundos da casa, onde se pode curtir um por do sol com vista para os vinhedos. A localização é excelente para visitar diversas cidades, alem de ser bem perto de cidades de apoio, com mercado e restaurante. Mario e Elisabeta sao um casal excepcional. Daniela, a filha do casal, nos deu todas as instruções na nossa chegada e foi muito amável. Adoramos conhece-los, mesmo que o contato tenha sido breve. O local é muito melhor do que as fotos podem mostrar. Nosso desejo é poder voltar a esse local o quanto antes! Obrigada, Mario!

A truly magical and unique stay in a castle apartment. After 24 days exploring the beauty of Italy, our arrival at Simone's third floor apartment in the village was breathtaking. This truly magnificent setting, nestled within a castle, immediately enveloped us in a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The apartment itself is not only beautifully appointed and meticulously cared for, but also boasts spectacular views across the mountain range that invited us to sit for hours, simply unwinding and soaking in the tranquility. While we ventured down the mountain a few times, we found ourselves drawn to the gentle rhythm of morning and evening walks, always culminating in a visit to the piazza to once again marvel at the stunning views Simone, our host, is simply the most considerate and attentive host I have encountered in 15 years of travel. El apartamento es muy privado, en una propiedad hermosa, con viñedos, mucha naturaleza y una casa principal en la entrada que da un gusto ver por la belleza de la arquitectura. Aunque el apartamento no se encuentra en la casa principal y esta en otra de las construcciones de la propiedad, es muy limpio, agradable a la vista, y con el espacio suficiente para servir de punto estratégico para ir a visitar las cuidades medievales cercanas de la Toscana en tu propio automovil o en automovil rentado.

This is Tuscany at its finest! Our stay at Casa Bonari was perfect. The villa inside was spacious, beautiful, comfortable, and wonderfully Italian. It was equipped with everything we needed. The exterior grounds were gorgeous and the views from the property in every direction were breathtaking. We made dinner and ate on the patio - it looked like a picture from a magazine. The villa is within easy walking distance of the charming Monticchiello which has a few excellent restaurants. We enjoyed strolling the picturesque streets and the incredible views of the countryside from the village. Our hostess, Valentina, was very gracious and helpful. We enjoyed meeting some of the friendly family members. They were so kind and left us with happy memories. We highly recommend Casa Bonari and hope to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return. Friendly welcome and great communication. The place is very spacious for two people- great working air con in bedroom, coffee provided and full kitchen available (we did not cook), excellent washing machine with patio for easy drying on clothes rack. Wonderful restaurant just a couple doors down (even had gluten free for dietary restrictions), easy to walk to train and all over town. Close to beautiful park, fortress and Piazza Grande.

We stayed for 5 night and enjoyed this large, well appointed two story apartment. The place was warm and inviting and was an authentic home to be a unique setting. My family enjoyed the surroundings and there was plenty of restaurants to close from. Be prepared to tackle the 52 steps to the apartment door which my 90 year old mother managed twice a day. Keeps you healthy.

Incredible trip. Paola and Michele were so friendly and welcoming. Always there to give advice and make sure you had everything you needed. The little converted hay barn was just beautiful and lovely. Location wise it just couldn’t be beaten. The garden was amazing and we ate outside morning and night, easy access to amazing Tuscany countryside and also a short trip on the train to Florence from Montevarchi. Loved every minute we were there and we were sorry to leave. Would highly recommend.

Nous avons été de suite sous le charme de cette propriété. Tout ici compose l'image qu'on peut se faire de la belle campagne Toscane. Tout en haut de la colline surplombant la vallée, la vue y est splendide et romantique. La propriété a été renovée avec le confort d'aujourd'hui tout en conservant son âme d'autrefois. On s'y sent de suite bien, l'energie est bienfaisante, la nature, les animaux, tout est en harmonie! L'accueil, la cuisine d'Oscar, la superbe piscine, la terrasse ombragée, les petits-dejeuners copieux fait maison! C'est plus qu'un coup de coeur, cet endroit est une pépite! Nous reviendrons!

This was by far the most beautiful view we have ever had at an Airbnb or hotel room. The house was beautiful, but the sunrise from the balcony is something I will remember forever. Vittorio also offered recommendations, and Fulvia was flexible with our check in. The apartment is in the perfect spot to become familiar with town. We want to come back to stay here again. We had the best time!! The cutest little apartment with a nice little balcony. Loved the exposed beams and the kitchen. It was very walkable to great restaurants and scenic views, also far enough away were you are not worried about noise at night. Host was super responsive and had excellent recommendations on where to eat and what to do!

I can’t say grazie enough to Gessica and Bernardino! Such nice people. The apartment is one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in. Pictures don’t do it justice. It has everything you could ever need. The view from the balcony made it hard to leave. Hopefully we will be back! Grazie Mille!!
