Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Civitella in Val di Chiana

Before arriving, Stephano informed me in detail if we would get lost, and he also carried a heavy carrier. A welcoming wine gift warmed our heart on the table. He also gave us detailed instructions on how to get on the bus to Florence and the bus stop. He wanted to tell us anything. In the old farmhouse, everything is prepared like a house for family, not travelers. I took pictures of the fantastic sunset and scenery. When I go back to Seoul and get tired of my daily life, I think I will reminisce about this picture. And thank you for the gifts, Nicoletta.

We had a perfect break in Lorenza’s lovely house. It was extremely spacious and exceptionally clean. The garden is beautiful and well maintained with lots of areas to sit in and enjoy the peaceful environment. Our dogs loved their walks in the woods nearby and they enjoyed meeting all the feline residents! Lorenza and her husband are a lovely friendly couple who have put a lot of thought into ensuring their guests have a great holiday.

What a wonderful experience! The description of the home was excelled by the reality. It was very clean and tastefully decorated — Anna has an eye for design and art. the three bedrooms easily accommodated us. The large patio with its charming table and vine screened roof was a charming place to enjoy our morning cappuccino. the home is situated in a agricultural community built in 1788, situated in extensive vineyards. The buildings have been thoroughly renovated into a series of private homes. The community contained renters like us, but also young communities and older retirees. We had a chance to get to know people in the neighborhood, who were uniformly friendly. the AirBnB is about 25 minutes away from Arezzo by car. The best place to park we found was in the short term parking at the train station. From there it was just a short walk to the Old Town. Anna was a wonderful and charming host. We recommend this property highly!

Very nice and spacious place. It was very easy to communicate and arrange everything with our hosts. We would recommend this Abnb to everyone who is coming to this part of Italy.

Raffaella deserves an extra star on the reviews. She is a wonderful host, very welcoming and very responsive. She went out of her way to make dinner reservations for us, at two wonderful restaurants - both in walking distance from her airbnb. The apartment was quiet, clean, with beautiful views. We did a lovely bike ride from town and enjoyed the beauty and quiet at Raffaella’s place. And her regional breakfast was such a treat!!! We hope to come back!

It was very pleasant to stay with my friends in Tania's accommodation with street parking, but which almost seemed to be private. The apartment, modern and functional, is clean and well equipped with a well-kept garden. We recommend alive well

We loved our stay. The host was amazing, and the house had everything we needed. The internet was very fast and supported my work requirements back in the USA. The views are spectacular, and the property is very private. Thank you, Irene, and family. I especially appreciated your help in getting me my new computer charger after mine broke. We really enjoyed our stay, except that it was too short! We will need to return for a longer stay to really allow the peace and calm there to sink in. Special thanks to Mario and his daughter for welcoming us even though we were delayed several hours by the power outage in France’s Alpes-Maritime region, where we were arriving from. The sitting area in the garden has a spectacular view of the surrounding Tuscan hills. Next time, we will make better use of it, including for star-gazing in the clear night sky.

Wow!!! What can I say about this most magical place that hasn’t already been said? 10/10 recommend Simone’s place. We will be talking about this stay for years to come. The property, the communication, the hotel amenities (restaurant Zita was wonderful but the spa massage experience was out of this world), the scenery. Just wow! Book this place while you can. We feel so lucky to have been able to stay here on our 2 week Tuscany adventure. Grazie!

I was here for a long-term stay of 5 weeks. Vittorino's apartment was very comfortable, as the living room + kitchen + bathroom were all nice-sized. It was also a very peaceful apartment, sound-wise. Since the location is "sotto i portici", it was very easy to walk everywhere. Vittorino was always just a telephone call away if needed. I highly recommend Vittorino's apartment. Thank You!

The apartment is very private, in a beautiful property, with vineyards, lots of nature and a main house at the entrance that is a pleasure to see for the beauty of the architecture. Although the apartment is not in the main house and is in another of the buildings on the property, it is very clean, pleasant to the eye, and with enough space to serve as a strategic point to visit the nearby medieval cities of Tuscany in your own car or in a rented car.

Laura was such a sweet host! She even picked us up from the train station The place was very cozy and has anything you could need :)

This is Tuscany at its finest! Our stay at Casa Bonari was perfect. The villa inside was spacious, beautiful, comfortable, and wonderfully Italian. It was equipped with everything we needed. The exterior grounds were gorgeous and the views from the property in every direction were breathtaking. We made dinner and ate on the patio - it looked like a picture from a magazine. The villa is within easy walking distance of the charming Monticchiello which has a few excellent restaurants. We enjoyed strolling the picturesque streets and the incredible views of the countryside from the village. Our hostess, Valentina, was very gracious and helpful. We enjoyed meeting some of the friendly family members. They were so kind and left us with happy memories. We highly recommend Casa Bonari and hope to visit again.

Paola’s place was an incredible getaway for the two of us - we played fetch with Nilde in the garden, had a night where Paola taught us to make pasta and tiramisu, and enjoyed the best sunsets. If you get a chance, definitely check out Osteria Alla Villa for dinner. We will definitely be back! Thank you Paola for the hospitality and making our first trip to Tuscany so special.

We stayed for 5 night and enjoyed this large, well appointed two story apartment. The place was warm and inviting and was an authentic home to be a unique setting. My family enjoyed the surroundings and there was plenty of restaurants to close from. Be prepared to tackle the 52 steps to the apartment door which my 90 year old mother managed twice a day. Keeps you healthy.

Incredible trip. Paola and Michele were so friendly and welcoming. Always there to give advice and make sure you had everything you needed. The little converted hay barn was just beautiful and lovely. Location wise it just couldn’t be beaten. The garden was amazing and we ate outside morning and night, easy access to amazing Tuscany countryside and also a short trip on the train to Florence from Montevarchi. Loved every minute we were there and we were sorry to leave. Would highly recommend.

Marco’s place is away from the hustle and bustle of Siena very quietly comfortable and super clean. The view from the balcony alone is worth the night rate. Close to all the lovely sights in Val D’Orcia. In a very quaint town with locals who actually live here. Marco is very responsive and clearly explained everything to us. Must try the pizza at Pizza I’ll Vecchio…a hidden gem in Tuscany

This was by far the most beautiful view we have ever had at an Airbnb or hotel room. The house was beautiful, but the sunrise from the balcony is something I will remember forever. Vittorio also offered recommendations, and Fulvia was flexible with our check in. The apartment is in the perfect spot to become familiar with town. We want to come back to stay here again. We were immediately enchanted by this property. Everything here makes up the image that one can have of the beautiful Tuscan countryside. At the top of the hill overlooking the valley, the view is splendid and romantic. The property has been renovated with today's comforts while retaining its soul of yesteryear. You feel good right away, the energy is beneficial, nature, animals, everything is in harmony! The welcome, Oscar's cooking, the superb pool, the shaded terrace, the hearty homemade breakfasts! It's more than a favorite, this place is a gem! We'll be back!
