It sits in 12 acres of fields and the cottage has its own private garden. With peaceful, open countryside all around you, this is a perfect place to relax. And there's a wood burner with free logs! and a fire guard provided. Unusualy for this part of Wales the WiFi is fibre with a download speed of 80mbps and upload of 60mbps.

Relax in a beautiful, detached, cosy stone and beamed cottage nestling in a peaceful, wooded valley where nature is thriving. Rustic and comfortable . The cottage overlooks a stone bridge and small river on the Carmarthenshire/Pembrokeshire border. We are doggie friendly and are happy to welcome well behaved dogs. The perfect base to be in nature, walk, cycle and explore many scenic areas of this beautiful part of West Wales. Betty's was built in the 1800's and is a traditional, stone cottage.

When you choose to come and stay at Cilwendeg Lodge, you will buy into a piece of history going back to the early 1800’s. This beautiful Grade II listed gate house is part of the 350-acre estate of Cilwendeg, where we as owners also live. The family have been on the estate for over a 100 years, we have so carefully renovated the gate house to turn it into wonderful holiday accommodation set in a large garden with a private hot tub.
