Holiday rentals with lake access in Colico

Our group of 4 had a wonderful stay at the window to the lake. Beautiful views also to the surrounding Tremezzo and mountains along with a very comfortable stay. We travelled to other locations on Lake Como and even had a night in cooking dinner and drinking wine from the local market. Thanks to Elena E Mara for a great stay!

Laura and Luciano were very attentive, upon arrival we were given lots of useful information on local activities and places to visit within the time we had. Went above and beyond to provide us with timings for certain buses and trains. The Airbnb was beautiful and exactly as described if not better! Can’t think of anything negative, if I return to Bellagio I would definitely stay again. Thank you !

Wir waren für 8 Tage in dieser sehr schönen Wohnung. Die Terrasse mit dem herrlichen Blick über den See und in die Berge ist wirklich wunderbar. Leider war das Wetter nicht so wie erhofft. Die Kommunikation mit Laura und Carla war hervorragend. Alles hat sehr gut geklappt. Vielen Dank dafür. Die Gegend im Norden des Comer Sees ist ruhiger als jene im Süden und die Orte in den Bergen sind es wert besucht zu werden. Sehr gut wird uns das Ristorante in Livo in Erinnerung bleiben, ebenso die ehrwürdige romanische Kirche Santa Maria del Tiglio in Gravedona.

Casa di Angela was a beautiful space for our group of 6! We had plenty of room and the views from the house are breathtaking. It is steps from the lake, restaurants, and the ferry. The area surrounding is very quiet and we only saw a few neighbors. This place is very special and we hope to return one day soon! There is a hill to climb to get to the front door and steps up to all of the bedrooms, but this was expected from the description. Also, getting to the area via bus from the train station during a peak day/season was not a pleasant experience and we would suggest taking a taxi or arranging for a transfer. In the town of Lenno, there was a place to arrange transfer back to the station and the people working there were incredibly kind.

Our Family of 5 (with teen/young adult children) had a wonderful stay. Great space for the five of us - comfortable beds, very clean, plenty of space in bedrooms, great water pressure, and fabulous jasmine, lemon, and olive tree filled patio/garden with beautiful views. Helpful recommendations from host for a boat tour, hikes, grocery store, bakery, and dining options (best to make dinner reservations each night.) Villa is about 25 minutes walk above Cernobbio and 10 minutes below Rovenna where you can walk the Sentee to Sort trail to Moltraiso. Great spot for our active family. We enjoyed being above the hustle & bustle, and were able to relax after a busy day of sightseeing.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the unbeatable location of this home. Being directly on the lake, the views are nothing short of magical. Waking up in the morning and looking out over the water from the bedroom felt like something out of a dream — peaceful, serene, and impossibly beautiful. The lake was quite literally at our doorstep. The home itself was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and full of charm. Every little detail was taken care of, and we felt instantly at ease. A special shoutout to our host, who went above and beyond when we realized last minute that we had forgotten to include our mother-in-law as a guest. It was entirely our oversight, and yet the host was kind, understanding, and incredibly accommodating. That kind of graciousness makes all the difference when you’re traveling. We can’t say enough good things about this place — the comfort, the views, the hospitality. If you’re lucky enough to find availability here, book it. Can’t wait to return

Paola met us for check in and was extremely helpful from the moment we booked the trip even after checkout when our plane ride to Milan cancelled last minute she helped us find new transportation. The space is beautiful and close to everything!

Luisella and Fermo were PERFECT hosts! My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Guilia House. The house is so charming - it felt like such a privilege to stay there and experience the history and beauty of the home and village of Fiumelatte. We especially loved the garden area that Luisella is cultivating - the views in the evening are spectacular! The walk to Varenna is an easy one with amazing views of the lake, mountains, and villages along the shore. This rental is not for everyone, however. Folks with mobility issues or toddlers should be aware that the rooms are all on different floors and connected by a cement staircase in the center of the home. If this is not a concern, then you will be treated to an authentic 'old world' Italian experience. We adored Luisella and Fermo - what a kind and generous couple! We are SO grateful for their hospitality. They welcomed us as if we were family and we will cherish them as if they are ours.

This appartement was clean and tidy. Windows and balconies on both sides of the appartement building. Easy walk to the nearest pittoresque village centers (1,5 km), two beaches near by, easy to park. On the front side of the appartement building one not so nice looking old construction building which has propably been like that for years. Otherwise very good appartement with the good price. 😊👍

We had the most wonderful 3 night stay! Fabio was so helpful and accommodating. The apartment is perfectly located, close to everything yet felt so private…. And the view from the balcony!!!! Would not hesitate recommending to our family and friends.

We had a great stay at Dave’s place. His brother Dario welcomed us and gave us tips for our stay, where we could eat, the best places to go to the beach, supermarkets etc. He was very helpful and easy to reach on the phone if needed. The place was clean and spacious for two persons. Lovely view from the balcony where we could take out the chairs and a small table to sit in the evening to have dinner or a glass of wine and look at the view over Gravedona.

The greeting upon arrival was excellent, we were offered an upgrade as some guests had cancelled due to weather, a nice gesture! The appartment was well furnished, clean and very comfortable. The location is excellent. Far enough from the busy touristic Bellagio but close enough to walk. The ferry pick up is just steps away. The grounds are immaculate and large enough to get a good run in every morning (5km) track style staying on the stone path that twirls the 42 hectar property. The grounds allow you great views of Tremezzo and Villa Carlotta accross the Lake and you can swim if the tempersture permits on the stairs that access the Lake. This is really a great place to stay! Had the best time in Emanuela's apartment! She was so accommodating when we arrived earlier in the day, allowing us to drop our bags off so we didn't have to carry them about. Once we checked in, she was so helpful with local recommendations and tips. The apartment itself is stunning, right on the waterfront and has so much charm and personality! It allows for easy access to the busier parts of the lake, yet is in a peaceful area! Would entirely recommend the apartment to anyone wanting to visit, and will hopefully visit again at some point in the future!

Paolo est sympathique et réactif. La terrasse est grande, utilisable toute la journée (à l'ombre l'après-midi) et la vue est magnifique. Le logement est bien et agréable pour 2 personnes. Le lit est confortable. Les 200m à parcourir à pieds sont plats donc faciles. Quelques détails à noter : l'isolation acoustique est moyenne (on entend les sanitaires des autres logements le matin de bonne heure), le réfrigérateur a du mal à tenir le froid et la salle d'eau commence à montrer quelques signes d'usage (meuble sous lavabo et douche). En conclusion, le logement est très agréable mais peut-être un peu cher (c'est sans doute la région qui veut cela)

Спасибо большое Maria Elisabetta за гостеприимство! Апартаменты были чудесными, со своим выходом к озеру Комо. Elisabetta встретила нас, помогла припарковать автомобиль, у нас был свободный доступ к парковке для нашей машины, что в тех местах очень важно! Нас ждал прекрасный прием: фрукты, вода, кофе, молоко, конфеты и печенье, что было очень удобно, особенно утром. На наши вопросы Elisabetta отвечала очень быстро, во всем помогала, также нам помогли с багажом. Нам предоставили полотенца для пляжа и обувь для камней. Постельное белье и полотенца были чистейшими, кровати удобными. С балкона открывается невероятный вид на озеро. Когда мы уезжали, Elisabetta проводила нас, помогла с багажом, угостила детей вкусным и полезным печеньем, которое мы могли взять в дорогу. Спасибо большое, Elisabetta, с удовольствием вернемся еще!

Wir hatten ein traumhaftes Wochenende in der Villa am Comer See! Die Unterkunft ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und liegt inmitten atemberaubender Natur mit traumhaftem Seeblick. Elena war jederzeit erreichbar, sehr herzlich und die Kommunikation verlief absolut reibungslos. Ein kleiner Hinweis für zukünftige Gäste: Die Zufahrtsstraße ist – typisch für die Region – schmal, und die Einfahrt in die Garage recht steil. Mit unserem Opel Astra und VW Golf war das machbar, aber bei tiefergelegten Autos könnte es knapp werden. Kein echter Nachteil, eher eine regionale Eigenheit. Außerdem wurden – wie in Italien oft üblich – vor dem Check-in Ausweiskopien verlangt. Das ist gesetzlich so geregelt, steht aber nicht in der Beschreibung. Auch das werten wir nicht als negativ, sondern als landestypische Besonderheit. Fazit: Ein wunderbarer Ort zum Abschalten und Genießen – absolut empfehlenswert!

The location of the cottage was as wonderful as the pictures suggest, you're far enough from the waters edge to have a sprawling view, and close enough that nothing interrupted the view. Cinzia was very responsive and helpful and the added touches (pastries/wine) were much appreciated. Nesso is beautiful little spot, it can get reasonably busy because of the waterfall and the road from Como to Bellagio is rarely quiet (although we couldn't hear it from the bungalow). Be prepared for some hilly steps though, we clocked up 110 floors of climbing one day (for info, the Twin Towers were also 110 floors!). We found and Cinzia recommended a wonderful restaurant called Il Briisa which we would go back to in a heartbeat. The food, wine, service and ambience were all spot on. Overall, fantastic, it was a surprise break for my wife's 40th birthday and it delivered perfectly.

I very much enjoyed how cozy the location was with my two friends. However, I did not realize how much of a hike it would be to the cottage as well as the fact that the upstairs could only be reached through the outside.

L'appartement correspond aux photos et à la description, il est complet, il y a tout ce qu'il faut, le parking est un gros plus. La vue est époustouflante, on peut rester des heures à regarder le paysage, ça nous fait vite oublier les désagréments de la route (bcp de passage lors de notre venue et énormément de moto, prévoyez les bouchons d'oreilles si vous avez le sommeil léger). L'arrêt de bus, juste à côté, est très pratique pour aller à Bellagio, Nesso ou Côme (mais attention à bien choisir vos jours de déplacement pour éviter la foule). Merci pour ces quelques jours de déconnection.

die Unterkunft ist ausreichend groß mit einem Schlafzimmer, einem Wohnzimmer einer kleinen Küche und Bad. die Lage ist traumhaft mit Blick auf den See und einen kleinen Strand gibt es auch in direkter Nähe:) die Unterkunft war sauber und die Küche ist mit allen notwendigen Küchenutensilien ausgestattet. wir kommen gerne wieder

We had a fantastic time staying in Dervio at Francesco’s place and exploring the towns surrounding lake Como. The place is perfect for so many reasons, the location is great, right on a small beach with amazing views and a walking path that takes you into town. It’s a short 7 minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes to downtown area with restaurants. There are tons of old walkways that allow you to explore the area. We spent a couple days taking the train and ferry to Bellano, Veranna, and Bellagio (very happy to be in Dervio). We also have two small kids and found the place was great for families with crib, beds with guard rails, and a high chair, along with a playground that just out the front door. The gates were excellent for preventing kids from going to the road or to the lake. The best part was Francesco and his family, they are very warm and welcoming! We spent time with him, his father, aunt, and cousin and very much enjoyed getting to know them!

This place is truly one of a kind. Simply the most exceptional place I have been to. Great restaurants nearby, directly accessible by boat. We just loved cruising around the lake with the small motor boat, it made everything feel more special. The place itself is unique, as only very few houses are available in Santa Margherita. Lots of birds to watch, but the icing on the cake was all the fireflies at night that sparkle in the dark, really magical. But above all, Mattia was the friendliest, most helpful host and made everything nice and comfortable for us.

Daru’s place is even better than the pictures, incredible views, beautiful bedrooms and fully equipped with all the amenities you may need.
