Casa Caterina is a magical & mystical time capsule, you will feel enriched by the views and its walls. It will have everything you need to lead a simple, wholesome life while there. The host Caterina couldn’t have been more helpful, recommending her friends’ beautiful restaurant (Buca di Baldabo) as well helping us get the stove going after a glass of wine when we couldn’t understand the screen’s language. You will leave feeling revived and whole, an incredible place! Thank you so much!

An absolutely amazing villa with genuinely beautiful hosts! From the magnificent views outside to the luxurious toiletries and bed linen. Space a plenty, inside and out, and room to spare. Books galore. A delicious welcome pack of bread, cheese, salami, olive oil and wine. We had the added bonus of the giro d’italia being in town! Leonardo provided the beer, the chips, seating, company and we enjoyed the atmosphere, the cyclists and their accompanying entourages!!! Quiet area, short walk to Barga, small medieval town, with buckets of character. Plenty of gorgeous restaurants to choose from, though you’ll get everything you need in local supermarket for a great dinner in the villa. Well supplied kitchen and though we didn’t get the chance, plenty of opportunity to cook al fresco. Pool is great, clean and very welcome in full sun. If you're looking for a special place, Emma's place is the right home! The house is really nice, well-kept, interesting, and full of personality. The view from the bedroom is a dream. There's no shortage of outdoor spaces... from the small terrace to the sun bench, not to mention the garden. And for those who love music, lots of beautiful guitars. The village is beautiful, without a car (which you park at the beginning of the village). Peace, silence, and swallows will keep you company. And then there's Mony who will always be available and answer any questions. He manages the only bar in the country where you can make relaxing aperitifs and always feel welcome as if you were at home. Don't miss out on the weekend the pizza prepared by Mony, so good!!!! I will do everything to return to this little slice of heaven for a few days!!! Thanks Emma for your hospitality.

Simply an oasis of peace, we are super happy with our stay in this property and with having chosen Giulia and Sabrina! We needed to get our heads out of the daily routine and this structure with the view in the greenery regenerated us even for just one day! Everything was clean and special, beautiful tub, we had a lot of fun but also relaxed, my child didn't want to leave! The breakfast brought in the morning is also fantastic! Thanks for this experience, as soon as we have the chance we will definitely want to come back, we highly recommend it!

This was the best place we stayed on our Italy trip! The region is so unique, with winding mountainous roads, lush forest, and ancient buildings. The property was very clean, with all the amenities you need to have a comfortable stay. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom was renovated and spacious, and the view was magnificent! Lindie was a fantastic host, very responsive and gave us very useful recommendations for the local restaurant and hiking trails nearby. Highly recommend staying here if you want a unique experience in the mountains!!

Lovely location with easy access , safe parking just outside the apartment and train station 2 min walk. Also , nice local place with great food just round the corner. The apartment is modern , clean and well equipped. Comfortable bed , great wifi , specious bathroom. Host is very friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend this place and would definitely book again if in the area. Thank you !

The most beautiful house in quiet surroundings, with magical views. Rachel has decorated the house thinking of every little detail. She has respected the old (beautiful old wide plank floors upstairs, tilefloors downstairs and beams both upstairs and downstairs), still she has managed to make the house modern in a right way. I warmly recommend this place to everyone who want some peace and quiet in their lives, with a hint of magical fairydust. I left a piece of my heart here, and will most certainly come back! The surroundings offer a lot from stunning hikes to hustle and bustle in Lucca. Rachel greeted us very warmly, she gave us great advice, and the welcome basket was awesome!!
