The Granary is a lovely thatched cottage tucked away in a peaceful spot on a no through lane in the old part of the village. The property ticked all my boxes for a peaceful and comfortable stay when visiting family living close by. The gated driveway parking directly adjacent to the property makes easy work of unloading/loading on arrival/departure. There are lovely mature garden surrounds to the property offering a good degree of privacy, although not fully enclosed if you have young children or pets. With two dogs in tow it was an added bonus to have lovely countryside walks directly from the door over the adjacent Edgecote Estate. Michael the host’s communication and directions for accessing the property were excellent throughout. Thoroughly recommend.

The annexe suited us well. Place is spacious and well located to Banbury and surrounding areas. Beds were extremely comfortable.

We had the most wonderful time at Lynnes place. Although we didn’t see Lynne until we left she had covered everything we needed to know for our stay. The cottage was spotlessly clean, the furniture and beds extremely comfortable and despite looking quite small on the outside it was spacious and comfortable inside. We will definitely be back for another visit if the opportunity arises. Well done Lynne the property is a credit to you.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the welcome. The hosts were incredibly accommodating – the kind of people who clearly care about your experience. Every little detail had been thought of, from the fresh flowers to the well-stocked kitchen and beautiful decor touches that made the place feel like home (but way more fabulous). The house itself is an entertainer’s dream. We stayed as a big group, and there was plenty of space for everyone to relax, laugh, eat and dance the night away. The bedrooms? Absolutely lush – clean, characterful, and each one with its own quirky, warm style that made it hard to pick a favourite. But let’s talk about that outdoor space… STUNNING. Like, truly. The natural pool is something out of a film, and the whole garden felt so private and peaceful, with enough space for sunbathing, games and late-night chats under the stars. Honestly, it’s rare to find somewhere that ticks every box – beautiful surroundings, thoughtful hosts...
