Holiday rentals with beach access in Cumberland County

We had an excellent stay at this property. The host was wonderful, providing us with plenty of local recommendations and always friendly. The house was easy to find and exactly as described in the listing. It was spacious with plenty of amenities and a well-stocked kitchen. The decor was upscale and tasteful. The only downside was some noise from people walking upstairs, as the house is quite old. The neighborhood was lovely and it was easy to get downtown via Uber. Overall, we highly recommend this property, especially for friends and couples.

The place was great! very cozy and comfortable with a great location to so many beautiful state parks in an adorable town. Awesome that it's so close to Portland even though it felt like a world away because of how adorable the town is. the hosts were great, Deborah was so Incredibly sweet and offered so many fantastic restaurant and food recommendations (we followed several of them!). They had so many things available for you just in case you forget something (even umbrellas and rain coats!) Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Normand and his wife were simply amazing. From the eggs and snacks that were waiting for us when we arrived to the homemade cookies on our check out. The place was very cozy and comfortable with tons of toys and games for kids and adults. Normand was very accommodating to any request and even helped me chase the puppies when they accidently got out. I would highly recommend this!

This place was amazing, great location and so peaceful! I loved that I could walk to the beach and the Main Street. It was also nice that it was only a 20 min drive from the main city Portland

My husband and I enjoyed staying at Glenn Mary Jane’s place. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the apartment had plenty of amenities. We enjoyed walking to the bakery across the street for breakfast and it was also a short walk to Willard Beach. The neighborhood was beautiful, peaceful and colorful. Overall the location was superb and Glenn Mary Jane was incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.

We loved staying at Amelia’s place! It is super cute and even more spacious than the photos show. Our group of 5 had plenty of room to spread out in 2 living spaces and a big kitchen. We loved the location. It’s very walkable to the Eastern Promenade, restaurants, bakery, and even into Old Port and other areas of Portland. Amelia was very responsive, helpful, and friendly. We would love to stay at Amelia’s place again.

We absolutely loved our stay. The space is beautiful—whoever decorated it seriously needs to start an interior design business! It just felt so cozy and thoughtful, every little detail had a purpose. The location couldn’t have been better—close and walkable to everything.

Our stay at The Bee Keepers Cottage was amazing. The property met our needs perfectly and it was super cute and cozy. The host was very responsive and communicative. And for any star gazers out there, the sky on a clear night is mesmerizing.

We loved this place! We were renting for our daughter’s college graduation, and even though it poured all weekend- we really enjoyed just hanging out at the house. Mostly I loved loved the king size bed and I’m going to ask where the owner got it - slept like a baby!

Violeta and her space were amazing. The house was exactly as advertised and we felt right at home for our long weekend. We are looking forward to making this a yearly visit!

Stayed for the weekend with my wife and inlaws had a wonderful time beautiful spacious home hot tub was amazing very clean and taken care of, Eric is an amazing host and will be definitely back here to stay again 10/10

I stayed here solo for a weekend event just 10 minutes away, and it was the perfect home base. The listing matched the description to a T! The cottage is clean, cozy, and updated with care, featuring fresh paint, new furniture, and thoughtful touches throughout. Although it’s ideal for families or couples, it was also just right for a solo getaway. I kicked off the season with a lobster roll at the place down the street (because where else but Maine?), and enjoyed the peaceful vibe the whole weekend. The private little sand beach down the road is a lovely bonus—just a short walk and you're by beautiful Sebago Lake. It’s a great place to relax. The location is also super convenient—close to shopping, dining, and 10 minutes away from my event at St Joseph's College. Andy was a fantastic host, allowing me to check in early and making sure everything was easy. Honestly, if you forgot to pack something, chances are Andy already thought of it and had it stocked. Highly recommend!!

Great location on the east end--residential with short walk to the Eastern Promenade and large waterfront park, as well as downtown and tourist amenities. Very efficient use of the small space. Because we wanted to take advantage of dining out, the lack of a kitchen was no problem for us. The bedroom was surprisingly large and bathroom a tad small, but overall a very homey and comfortable stay for a few days.

The host was very accommodating and responsive! The place was spotless clean and even left us a complimentary bottle of wine. Would 100% recommend staying here! Perfect size for 4 people

Can’t recommend this AirBnB more if you’re staying in Portland! Jennifer was a responsive, helpful host & the home is lovely with a lot of small details really thought through. The location is perfect - walkable to so many great restaurants, cafes, breweries, & the Eastern Promenade. This was our first trip with our 3 month daughter and Jennifer had the pack & play set up for us (which worked out perfectly), allowed us to check in a little early so we could feed her after a long trip, & had the perfect space for her (including blackout curtains)! Overall one of the best AirBnB’s I’ve stayed in!

Unit was very clean, situated in a quiet residential area and within walking distance to many of Portland's best bars, restaurants and attractions. Host was communicative and provided clear guidance on check-in/-out procedures and offered up suggestions to local attractions. On my recommended list - dinner at Twelve (one of the best restaurants in the US, IMHO); on-site food truck tacos washed down with a Hazy IPA at Bellflower or Austin Street Brewery; an everything bagel with lox & morning latte at Forage; the East Promenade for a food truck lunch, then a stroll along the waterfront trail to the port area for an ice cream cone at Gorgeous gelato; afternoon coffee at Double Great Coffee; and a post-dinner whiskey @ Independence Ice. Only downside on my visit was the upstairs neighbor. Dude clearly isn't a principal dancer in the Portland Ballet, as light on his feet wouldn't describe him. Not a stereo or TV issue - you can just hear the noise from him walking (8AM-10PM when there)

Wonderful little spot very close to the beach. Plenty of places to walk to from the location as well as a short drive to Old Orchard Beach. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Great place to stay if you want to be close to downtown but with a larger, comfortable space. The place is exactly as described, exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated. No dollar store products here! The ground coffee and half and half really made it feel like we were staying at a friend’s home.

We had a great time! The condo is clean, cozy, and comfortable. I highly recommend this AirBnB, especially for the beach proximity.

We loved our stay! The space is beautiful and cozy. The walk to the family friendly beach was just the right distance for my 4yo. The neighborhood is adorable and friendly! With an amazing bakery and ice cream shop just around the corner! Dave was a great host and took great care of us.
