Holiday rentals in Cuna

A great place, but more importantly lovely people. Bruno, Esperanza and Ada (and the dog for that matter) could not have been more welcoming. My dinner with them was sitting at the family table with Bruno's fabulous pasta and a salad drawn from the garden. (disclosure: I speak Italian, but I'm sure the friendliness would come through even if you don't) The house (which they rennovated) is really a small architectural marvel. It's a very airy and artistic design that made me feel happy everytime I went up to my room. The room is accomodating, the shared bathroom is way above the usual italian standard. Both a bathtub and a huge walk in shower, with soap bars cleverly positioned with magnets instead of getting grungy in a dish. I've never seen anything like it. The room features something rarely seen in Italy - screens on the windows. Bruno says some people miss the factthat you need a car - you do. But I have been in italian places with a challenging drive, and this is not one of them.

A real gem. You do need a car to get there . The place is really remote , however close by to all the top Tuscany destinations.

The place was easy to find. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Franco was very kind and responded quickly to messages. Parking is free on the street in front of the house. The accommodation was impeccably clean and tidy, one of the cleanest accommodations we have ever stayed in. The location is great, very close to Siena (15 minutes by car). We are very happy with the place and the host and would definitely recommend it!

We had a wonderful time in this charming accommodation in Tuscany! Everything was just like in the pictures – clean, tastefully furnished and with great attention to detail. The host and his wife were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We felt completely comfortable and can wholeheartedly recommend this place!

Beautiful place, great host

I have been in Airbnb Superhost for the past seven years in Santa Monica, Calif. Needless to say, I am a bit picky about my lodgings and Ridolfo’s place was magical! The outside had the charm of old Tuscany, and the insides were spacious and had all the modern conveniences one would need. The pool was most refreshing on hot days and had spectacular views you could see from the pool’s edge. I traveled with my disabled husband and the cottage was very spacious and had more than enough room for my husband‘s wheelchair. They even put in a wooden wheelchair ramp so we could easily access the one small step into the home-most thoughtful! Ian checked us in and was very responsive and helpful. Such a delightful and patient young man. When we drove back from our excursions at night, we saw a wild hare, two foxes and frogs. I felt like I was stepping into a fairytale. We loved eating at La Galara in Monteroni d’Arbia. Delicious homemade pastas-lovely family and a wonderful 24 year cat!

Daniela and Giuliano's place is really a gem! The room is compact, with a small bathroom and kitchen, but perfect for two people. The view from the room is truly beautiful. Outside, you can sit in the sun or shade, with the same view over the Tuscan hills. The swimming pool is wonderfully quiet and offers a nice place to relax. Daniela and Giuliano are fantastic hosts. They are happy to help you with everything and run their own small vineyard. The wine tasting with them is an absolute must! And the sweet kittens were the icing on the cake!

The house has a strategic location to explore the surrounding area. Spacious, comfortable and impeccably clean, it is perfectly equipped for a family stay. Francesca touched us with her generosity: she had taken care to fill the kitchen and fridge before we arrived, and offered a small gift for our departure. With her dad, both are very thoughtful and available. We had pleasant moments of exchange. We have a great memory of our stay at Francesca's!
