Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Dartmouth

This was my third stay at Amy’s and won’t be the last. The home is outstanding and the back beach on your doorstep, the town is less than a few minutes away and all you need there. Lots of pubs and tea shops and I highly recommend a visit to Laura Wall Art for lovely gifts. Be back soon thank you Amy

We had the best weekend staying in Amanada’s house celebrating a birthday it was beautiful. The house is even more beautiful than in the photos & my 2 year old loved looking out to sea every morning seeing the birds. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you so much ☺️ one bonus for families thinking of booking that I did not see prior to our stay is the stairgate at the top of the stairs to the kitchen it was perfect with 2 young children we could shut this off.

We had an amazing weeks stay at the barn. Steve and Tessa were such amazing host, the barn is immaculate, clean, comfortable and very welcoming. They both went above to ensure that we were comfortable, providing extra dog towels, Steve instructions on how to find the barn, checking that we were warm enough and had everything we need. The barn is surrounded by beautiful tranquil forest and miles of walking routes. Thank you so much for having us .

We (2 people & our Labrador) really enjoyed our short stay at The Annex. It is well equipped and in a great position for either walking or short drives to locations like Bigbury- on-Sea or Salcombe. Susie and John were both very friendly (as was Meg their resident dog!) and helpful. We would happily come back for another break - thanks!

We had a great family weekend and stayed at Sarah's house in Kingswear - we always found parking close by on the road, the house was very comfortable and spotless with amazing views down to Dartmouth, Sarah was very responsive and gave some great local tips, we had great weather, and enjoyed spending time in Dartmouth and we went to Broadsands Beach thanks to Sarah for recommending

Had a really lovely stay at Gary's cottage. not only was it really picturesque, homely and comfy but the facilities were great. and the location was perfect, so easy to get into central brixham within minutes. I loved the log cabin in the garden with the stunning harbour views, i spent a very relaxing afternoon there with my watercolour paints pretending I know how to paint! we both commented on how lovely it was to stay so centrally but not be able to hear the bars in the evening! It was just so very peaceful and relaxing! we both really enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous cottage and can't wait to come back already! 💖

We stayed for a weekend to attend an event in the centre of the village, right on the creek, and the location was perfect. Just a short walk and with excellent views across to the other side of the creek. Very comfortable beds and a kitchen with everything you could need. Really helpful and accommodating when I realised we might need a slightly flexible check in/check out as well, which we greatly appreciated! Wouldn't hesitate to stay again if returning to the area!

Clean, cozy and well equipped (kitchen, etc). Peaceful location and the extra amenities were great! (Swimming pool, etc). We would stay again.

We had such a wonderful stay at your beautiful property — everything was absolutely perfect, and I truly appreciated how thoughtful and welcoming you both were. Your quick responses made everything so easy, and the beautiful birthday basket you left for me was such a kind and unexpected gesture that really made my day. The host, Julie, was really helpful and responsive to our messages. Beautiful surroundings and the views from the chalet were incredible. We were visiting old friends and neighbours and it was an excellent base. The walk down into Shaldon along the golf course was convenient and stunning but be prepared for the walk back up!! The chalet had everything we needed and was really nicely decorated with comfy sofas and beds. Wish we were there longer and would love to go back.

This is a very special spot. The farm is made up of the main house and several beautifully converted stone barns with generous balconies overlooking a stunning field and river. They are beautifully decorated, very comfortable and homely spaces that show the real care and thought of the owners who have done all the work themselves. The pool is amazing, with rotating 2 hour slots given to each barn every day. We would love to stay again and would recommend it to friends and family in a heartbeat.

We had an amazing stay at Lesley’s. I wish we could have stayed longer. There was so much to do in the local areas. The caravan was spot on, lovely and clean and we were very grateful for the little hamper and milk when we arrived. Everything was clean and tidy and we particularly loved all the fleecy blankets for that extra cosy touch. Thank you Lesley. Would 100% recommend and stay again

My friends and I stayed at Louise’s place for a long weekend, and it was a wonderful time. The house fit 11 adults no problem. Lovely and quiet, the pool was so much fun, and we made good use of the fire pit to have s’mores. Harry gave us a tour of the dairy farm & beehives, & let us see the calves which was lovely. Louise was a fab host, very good communicator and always at hand if needed. Great stay overall!

Yet again we had a fantastic break in this great holiday home. This is our third visit and ready to book again for next year (if they will have us ) lol. Keep up the great job in hosting that you both do so well, and thanks again Ted.

We had a wonderful stay! The views are absolutely spectacular—well worth the climb up the steps. You can see the entire estuary from the house, with yachts gliding by and the steam train tooting across the water—just magical. The house was spacious and had everything we needed, including four toilets, which was a real bonus for a group. It was clean, tidy, and felt like a real home from home. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dogs—safe, secure, and totally private, with no neighbours overlooking. It felt incredibly peaceful yet was only a 10-minute walk down into Dartmouth. We’d definitely come back!

Lovely house. Brilliant central location just off the market square. Very comfortable home. Worked really well for our family of 5. Heating and WiFi worked well. Kitchen was well-equipped. Parking was easy nearby in the square. Some might want to be aware that the stairs are steep and narrow - one short flight from street level up to front door, then two flights within the house (one bedroom on middle floor, and two on the top floor). just one bathroom/toilet. Host Beverley was friendly, responsive and accommodating.

Justine was extremely helpful before and during our stay. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped , slightly away from the bustle of town but easy walking distance to everything Dartmouth h has to offer. Exactly as described.

What a place, sitting on the balcony with that view made you at peace with the world. The accommodation , which was great for the two of us by the way, was just a backdrop. You can walk to great pub (Green Dragon), great beach (Blackpool Sands), and bit longer to Dartmouth (might want to take one of regular buses). Valerie, the host, was friendly and responsive. That Rory’s Retreat used to be her home shows in the quality of the accommodation. Absolutely recommended

Everything about our stay here was perfect. A beautifully furnished little town house, with bags of space, lovely comfortable bed. This is a top class place to spend a few days in the very centre of Dartmouth. There is a bit of street noise until 11 ish, but nothing that would put us off all the other wonders of this super place .

Great place to stay if you want peace and quiet.

We have just returned from a fabulous Easter weekend in Dartmouth with our Children and Grandchildren. The house is very spacious and well appointed, in a very good location only 3/4 minutes walk to the centre of Dartmouth with its fantastic chops, great restaurants, views and walks. Nicki is a great host and responsive to any queries or problems. The welcome hamper was very appreciated and generous. Would definitely recommend.

Andrew’s house is fabulous! Very clean and well equipped. Andrew is the perfect host and we will return
