5 Stars – A Peaceful, Charming Escape! We had such a wonderful 2 week stay at Rocky Acres! The property, with its incredible rock boulders, felt like a scene from a fairytale. We had a blast exploring and enjoyed the quiet, peaceful atmosphere throughout our stay. The back porch was a perfect spot for meals, games, and puzzles. We loved watching the deer and wild turkeys pass by. The home was clean and cozy, and we especially enjoyed the view of the horses from the kitchen sink while doing dishes—such a beautiful, calming sight! The caretaker was friendly, and my daughter, who loves horses, had a great time chatting with her about the animals. Keep in mind that this is a working farm, so expect a bit of farm activity, which we enjoyed. The drive up was a bit adventurous, but that’s part of being on Lookout! Derek’s description was spot on and exceeded our expectations. The property was perfect and within our budget. He was quick to respond and ensured everything was just right.

This place is amazing and the perfect spot for kid summer camp layovers. I had a day on my own before camp pick ups and felt like I was at a nice hotel in the middle of nature. After pick ups, the kids loved getting eggs from the coop for breakfast and snuggling up on the trundle bed to watch a movie. The host is so nice and it was inspiring to see the work they’ve done to create a homestead. I will definitely book this spot again!

Beautiful home! Perfect for a weekend with family and close friends. We loved that the home was walkable to the top of Desoto Falls but also only a short hike to the bottom view via trail. The loft and top rooms were magical and absolutely perfect for our tween kids and us parents loved the screened porch and outdoor firepit. Thank you for sharing your wonderful place with us. We also appreciated how clean it was and the basket of welcome snacks. Five stars!

The Bus Stop is a very magical, enticing and wonderful place to kick back, forget about your worries & burdens. Everything about this place makes you feel at home, makes you feel comfortable and makes you feel exciting about what all The Bus Stop has to offer at your fingertips. Yoga on the rooftop. Grilling and dinner on the front deck. Firepit to sit around and look up at the stars at night. Hot dogs & smores, perfection. The yard, practically a woods sets a very charming stage. The area surrounding The Bus, very nice to walk as it’s all nature, a small black top road meanders by, very little traffic. The details inside the bus are amazing. All the woodwork and special touches add so much to your stay. Pets are welcome, we take our fur baby everywhere we go. Great pet policy. It’s a real “feel good” vibe. Didn’t want to leave!
