Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Detroit Lakes

The place was fantastic for sleeping arrangements for a large group. The only disappointing thing was the chairs around the tables and out on the patio advertised in pictures were not there or not available for use. It was difficult for all 13 of us to enjoy a fire together as there were only 4 chairs able to be used. It was also impossible for all of us to sit for a meal together as there are only 9 stools around the island. We were banking on the chairs in the garage for food and games, so just needed to adjust. Found out they are only available for the crafting groups, so be prepared with your own camping chairs for the fire! Otherwise the place is wonderful and has everything you need! Jenifer was a very accommodating and responsive host. She let us stay a bit late as we were on motorcycles waiting out the weather. SUPER thankful for her flexibility!

Great overall. Only complaint was an underground bees nest that stung one of us and the dog. Texted manager & she didn’t offer to come spray. We had to go to hardware store and buy spray ourselves. Also gas tank for grills ran out. Manager hesitantly offered to get some but said we could about 10 miles down the road. Paid out of pocket for these things.

We had a great stay in Park Rapids celebrating a family wedding in town. Our only issue was finding the place — the address needs to be corrected for Google maps to take you to the right place. Easily fixed. Other than that, we had everything we needed and we enjoyed our time there. Would definitely recommend for a large group. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay. There was everything we needed to cook meals, we used the fire pit, used the sauna, and enjoyed the yard.

A high quality place to relax for a few days by water. Very nice and lots of beds for a big group. Tom was very responsive, informative, and helpful if needed. Would recommend.

What an incredible stay! This home was absolutely stunning—thoughtfully designed, impeccably maintained, and equipped with every amenity and utensil we could possibly need (and more!). We are a group of five women in our 40s, once inseparable in our 20s, who reunited for a weekend of reconnection and reflection. From the moment we stepped through the door, this historic home on the river wrapped us in comfort and nostalgia, giving us the perfect space to pick up right where we left off—as if no time had passed at all. The walls of this home now echo with the sound of our laughter, which was abundant, healing, and sometimes tearful. With deep gratitude, we thank you for sharing this magical place with us. It was the perfect setting for a weekend we will cherish forever.

This was a great home for our extended family. The indoor and outdoor amenities were excellent. We had lots of fun with the games in the garage.

Our 2nd stay with this host. The place is gorgeous and we caught some great fish out on the boat. It’s so quiet and peaceful and every time we stay here it’s like magic for our family and everyone has fun! No issues with our stay. Jason was even flexible to allow us to check in early and check out was easy as can be. It was nice to have laundry detergent and soaps and lotions handy. Even had some extra packages of sunscreen for us to use. We will definitely be back for a 3rd time maybe even to make this a yearly thing. If I could give 6 stars I would!!

Great place to stay for a nice weekend trip. There was plenty of space, and being on the second floor made it have a feel of privacy. The place was very clean and tidy.

Great place and we will definitely return in the future. Trisha & Chris are kind and very hospitable. The apartment is clean and well equipped. Beautiful, peaceful location but just a short drive into town. We look forward to our next visit!

I have stayed at Bee and Paul's place (both upstairs and down) five times this year, and each time has been incredible. Both places are comfortable, clean, welcoming and filled with everything you might need and then some! I love this house and can't imagine staying anywhere else in Fergus Falls. Everybody is incredibly responsive, it's easy to check in and out, and the neighborhood is among my favorite places to walk. Just can't say enough about this house and these hosts!

Breezy Shores Resort is a collection of two-story townhouses right on the lake. Our unit was well-equipped, beds were comfortable and the gas fireplace in the living room helped to warm the apartment quickly upon our arrival on a cold spring night. We had four days of cold, wet weather and we were glad to have a comfortable place to spend those days. Then the sun came out, the days warmed up and being right on the lake made our last four days really wonderful. Everyone we encountered in the office was immediately helpful and responsive. Nearby restaurants served us well -- we especially recommend cheeseburgers at Shorewood Pub, we had an excellent carry-out pizza from Zorbaz, and also can recommend nearby Bleachers and the Long Bridge Bar and Grill. This was an excellent stay and we definitely would come back.

Bee and Paul’s was very beautiful to stay at. The scenery was amazing and the hot tub was perfect for the night we utilized it. They had very great communication and Paul was really helpful with every question we asked. We went there for a bachelorette party and their recommendation list provided was a great guide to local restaurants. Location was great as it was private yet a larger town was only 15 mins away in case we needed anything. Thank you for having us!

The cabin was absolutely beautiful. Our hosts made my partner a cake for her birthday and also provided a birthday banner that made my partner feel extra special. The fresh herbs from the garden were a nice touch. We will definitely rent space in the future. Thank you for a good nights rest, the cabin was comforting. Raven and family.

Our stay was fantastic. The property was private, beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed time fishing from the dock, swimming, and boating. The private location was perfect for our dog, who could relax without worrying about her wandering off. The public boat dock next door was extremely convenient. Kristin was extremely pleasant to deal with and answered all of our questions very quickly. Would highly recommend this property!

We had such a amazing experience! The house was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. The location was very convenient. It had a gorgeous view and was so relaxing! It fit our family perfectly! There were so many activities for our family to do! We loved the pontoon, games and all water activities that were there for us to use! The hosts were terrific and were available for anything we needed! I would highly recommend this place. It was one of the best vacations we ever had!!

We enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect as my niece's wedding was only about a 20 minute drive away. The area was nice and peaceful. And, quiet which we appreciated greatly.

We have stayed here several times and continue to enjoy Peter’s cabin. Easy access to the lake. Rentable pontoons thru Peter’s contact. Excellent fishing. Always clean. Beautiful sunsets! Look forward to our next visit.

Karey's place felt like our own private winter lodge. It snowed a ton while we were there and we were happy (as was our dog) to stay in and watch the snow fall through the big windows. We made full use of the hot tub, gas firepit, electric fireplace, gas stove, kitchen, and guitar. Bed was also very comfy. Terry came by to snow blow and brought by a couple scones :). Thank you for a wonderful stay.
