Tuscan Nature Views From Casa Gave

The house consists of two apartments within a wing of the Gave manor house in Sorana, a little village in the heart of Svizzera Pesciatina in Tuscany. Far from the crowd of cities, it's the right place where to escape and find relax. Admire the original wood beam ceilings and wooden fixtures while sitting around the indoor fireplace or spend a sunny afternoon out in the garden under the pergola or in the swimming pool surrounded by the olive trees terraces (airbnb.com/h/casagavenaturarelax). The apartment, with separate entrance, is composed as follows: - kitchen-living room with wood burning fireplace complete with all appliances, microwave, kettle and TV; - double bedroom with wardrobe and sofa bed. Removable baby bed available on request; - bathroom with toilet, shower and bidet. The property was completely renovated in 2017 respecting the original features, such as ceilings with chestnut beams, local stone walls, chestnut window frames and wrought iron gates. The furniture are made of wood recovered from the original beams. Outside there are a pergola covered by a wisteria where you can relax or eat and a bbq available for lunches and dinners. A ping-pong table and table football are also available. As we live next to the apartment we are available for any need of the guest. The home is in a natural setting with multiple areas for scenic hikes to enjoy. Take a trip to the amazing Lucca or to the Montecarlo vineries, or to the seaside in Versilia, have a spa day at Montecatini Terme, visit the Pinocchio Park in Collodi, and enjoy authentic cuisine at the local restaurants. The accommodation is perfect for those seeking peace and nature. The village is secluded in the mountains, which means that the journey to get there is long and leads over small but well-maintained mountain roads. The village itself is not accessible by car, which should be considered if you have a lot of luggage or if you are not so good on foot. Letitia also offers a luggage service, but we did not use it. It was perfect for us. A multitude of hiking opportunities and a breathtaking panoramic view compensate for the strenuous journey. There is a small shop in the village, but larger purchases should be planned when leaving the highway. The kitchen is well equipped to cook anything for 2-4 people. Otherwise, the apartment lacks nothing. Unfortunately, the weather was rather rainy during our stay, but that happens in May. But when the sun comes out, it's nice and warm. Would come back immediately and stay longer.

I'm having trouble squeezing all the great things we experienced during our week at Le Casette in a short review. It's the most amazing peaceful location, while you still have the chance to have an absolutely tasty dinner in the town in the valley. You have the chance to go on a picturesque hike, starting from the house, and then arrive back and chill on the terrace with your carbonara and prosecco while fireflies light up the forest. It's just... perfect. Marco is a super nice host, but really, everyone we met up there was just so kind, you are greeted with Italian hospitality at its best here. We got valuable recommendations for activities and Marco is the most responsive host I ever met. The house itself is a jewellery box, such nice details and we found it very comfy and spacious. Embrace the Panda and take a chance on this gem of an accommodation. :)
