Our apartment with separate entrance is located in the new annex of our detached house in the quiet center of Bannewitz. Within walking distance you can reach the bakery (open on Sundays!), supermarket and public transport to Dresden in 5 minutes. This takes you in about 20 minutes to the city center to the Frauenkirche, Semperoper, Zwinger or to the main train station Dresden. From there you can also start a trip to the Elbe Sandstone Mountains or to Meissen. Hiking or biking trails are right outside the front door.

Wonderful forest trails start right behind the house. 3 beach resorts and an adventure pool with sauna are within walking distance about 1.5 km away. In the village there is an excellent baker and a village shop. A quaint narrow-gauge steam locomotive has a stop in the village. Climbing rocks 500 m away. In winter, the best maintained cross-country ski trail network, as well as small downhill slopes can be reached in about 25 minutes

Nearby there are many good viewing platforms from which you can see a wonderful view over parts of the Osterz Mountains.
