"La casetta nel bosco" is an environment immersed in the greenery of chestnut and linden trees, to "listen to nature that speaks" but also to music (acoustic speakers on each floor, even outdoors) and let yourself be lulled by moments of slow, simple, authentic life. It is located in a small alpine village from which you start to reach other villages and towns, on foot and by car. Our place is only suitable for those willing to make a 10 minute walk uphill to enter into a totally private world of its own. A breathtaking view of the Alps, rose garden, pond, six hectares of park and forest shared only with your hosts. The abundant spring fed water is its most precious secret and the sound of water is ever present. As the upstairs apartment IS NOT HEATED from October through April we put two single beds in the large living room to accommodate a total of four guests.

In Domodossola you can admire the beautiful Piazza Mercato, the Sacro Monte Calvario (Unesco Heritage since 2003), and the Palazzo San Francesco Museum.

If you'd like to walk to Stresa, we recommend first driving 3 minutes and starting up the hill (23 min total / avoids steps). Please note: You will have to walk through our upstairs living room (8m distance total) while we wait for approvals to build external stairs.
