The neighborhood at Westfalenpark 2 (BVB/trade fair on foot)

The apartment is in an absolutely central location, 10 minutes' walk to the Westfalenhalle, the soccer stadium or the city. A supermarket is in the immediate vicinity. There are many great restaurants in the surrounding area. The U-Bahn [subway] stations are a 2-minute walk away. Free parking is available in front of the house. It is also possible to rent a parking space in the courtyard. If necessary, it is possible to rent two bicycles to get from point A to point B even faster.

Sculpture/Painting with Achim

Take it easy at this unique creative getaway. The studio offers plenty of space on 2 levels to unwind. In the lower part, you are directly connected to the cultural landscape. The studio itself displays works by the sculptor Achim Tausch. In the upper area, the Ruhr culture can be felt with its means of transport and the traveling “street art.” This part was used to live the process-oriented part of painting. Occasionally you can still see the traces of the painting.

The accommodation with loft character is located in the Bergisches Land, surrounded by beautiful nature and numerous hiking trails. If you need a little break from everyday life, this place is for you. The main building is a renowned gallery with numerous exhibitions, all of which can of course be visited by appointment. The loft is 20 meters from the main house with its own entrance and private small garden overlooking the Bergisches Land.

The property is located within walking distance of 200 meters from the city park and 650 meters from the General Hospital and the pedestrian zone. Nearby is the leisure center "Elbershallen" with its great flair, food, bowling, cinema and theater. The Westfalenbad offers a beautiful sauna area with massage therapy for relaxation. Hohenlimburg Castle, Hohensyburg Casino, Hengsteysee and the marina at Hartkortsee also offer many events.

Beautiful newly renovated 22 sqm cottage with private garden and terrace. Through the hallway in the main house you come into the garden, here is the entrance to our small but fine rear house. The floor consists of light exposed concrete with underfloor heating. The old ceiling beams were exposed and oiled. The bathroom floor has the original old Art Nouveau tiles. The small kitchenette was built by us from an old workbench.
