Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Downtown Chicago

My friends and I had a great time staying at Joanna’s place! It was super clean, the neighborhood was nice, and there were lots of stores and restaurants around the area too! We would definitely stay again :)

Nicole and Matt were extremely responsive and excellent hosts. The bnb was in an awesome location in Lincoln Park with lots of great bars, restaurants and close proximity to the plethora of attractions in downtown Chicago. I would stay there again and recommend this lovely town home to all!

Lizbeth was an amazing host. She’s responsive and attentive. The place was exceptional clean and had an amazing smell. I was there to celebrate my birthday and was pleasantly surprised upon entry when I was greeted with a personalized birthday message, fresh flowers and a bottle of wine. Anytime I reached out to Lizbeth, she responded expeditiously. Again, very attentive. My husband and I will definitely stay at her beautiful Oasis again. We felt comfortable and completely safe. Everything we wanted to do was a quick drive from the location. If you’re considering staying at her home, you will not regret it. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Patty was extremely responsive prior to our visit to Chicago, during and post our stay. She also immediately addressed and resolved our cosmetic and minor concerns. Patty was beyond accommodating, kind, accessible, and understanding of our needs and expectations as we were traveling from three different states and with family members ranging for the age of 3 to 85. We booked this Airbnb for our family of 16 for Easter weekend and EVERYONE loved it. It was important that our elders were comfortable, safe and enjoyed themselves, they were sooo impressed and happy. The space is huge and perfect for entertainment. There are a ton of activities available and enough room for everyone/couples to have their own bed/room. With 1.5 kitchens including two stoves, it was convenient, as we cooked breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day in large quantities. The home was beautiful, comfy and we felt right at home! We highly recommend and can’t wait to book this Airbnb for our next trip to Chicago!

Even better than described. Good out door decks, comfortable beds. Parks across the way, quiet area, felt spacious but also next to a ton of stuff to do. Not congested but also close to everything- like a few mins walk. Song is wonderful and clear. Perfect communication.

This place absolutely perfect! We were back and forth from Navy Pier for a tournament. The apartment was the perfect escape from the noise. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the city. I can’t recommend this apartment enough. The price, for Chicago, is totally worth it!! Host is very quick to respond. The distance from the Pier to the apartment is an easy, short drive.

We had an amazing stay at Kitty’s place! From the moment we arrived, she made us feel so welcome. She even decorated the house for my fiancée’s birthday and left us treats, which was such a sweet touch. Her recommendations were super helpful and made our trip even better. The house was full of books and art that made it feel really special, and the beds were super comfy. The separate entrance was great for privacy, and street parking was easy to find, which was a big plus. Thank you so much for all the little things that made our stay unforgettable. We would love to stay here again very soon!

This place was amazing!! Felt right at home as soon as we got there. The neighborhood is very quiet and chill, there’s a ton of great mexican food/stores, and just a couple blocks from the pink line and bus stop. Great home base just outside of the chaos of downtown but easy to get anywhere you wanna go! The place itself was comfortable and felt very roomy. Only thing is there are some upstairs neighbors who you WILL hear walk, talk, breathe… but we didn’t have trouble dealing with it and still slept well. Plus they had two cute little doggies who came to say hi, which is a huge plus! Overall 10/10 would stay again and would always recommend to anyone visiting Chicago.

From booking to check out Wendy and Matt communicated with me every step of the way. Very responsive, helpful, and friendly. The Airbnb is just as described and is absolutely beautiful, but also comfortable and homey. They have thought of everything. My husband and I both had to work some and the desk set up with extra large monitors was the best surprise! The location is perfect-walkable to some really fun restaurants. We went to Happy Camper, Small Cheval, and Mr. Gyros. The red line is right around the corner and we felt very safe walking the neighborhood after dark. You will meet many people on the street with friendly dogs :) The ability to park our car off the street was also one of the best perks of this place! Our family couldn’t have picked a better place to spend our time in Chicago. Thank you Matt and Wendy!

Great location, nice unit. Older building but nice updates. You can definitely hear the tenant upstairs so bring headphones or earplugs if that bothers you.

Joe’s place is exactly as described, and in a fantastic location. The unit is clean, easy to access and spacious. Proximity to the blue line is a major plus, and walkability to all the great things in the Logan Sq + adjacent neighborhoods is a major plus. Highly recommend.
