For the lover of peace and space. In the middle of the beautiful scenic landscape of the Westerkwartier is our farmhouse. We rent out the old chicken shed as a Bed and Breakfast. In the area you can feel free to go hiking or cycling. Directly at a junction route. Public transport and a supermarket are within cycling/walking distance. Drachten and Groningen are 15-25 minutes away by car. Leeuwarden is about 45 minutes drive. Breakfast package possible, preferably passed on before arrival.

We really enjoyed staying at Karen’s place. Its location is great; right next to one of Drachten’s best pizzerias! The room is excellently appointed, with a great bathroom (towel heater!). Well decorated. Bed is Queen sized and quite comfortable. We stayed in 2 of Karen’s places (they were right next to each other in the same building) and both were identical. I’d recommend staying here. It’s great for a couple. We had our 8yo with us as well, and for 3 people it’s a little tight but still doable. I recommend staying here.

Had a fantastic stay in Jasper's chalet! The accommodation is spacious, fully equipped and immediately feels like home. Jasper communicates quickly and kindly, which was very pleasant. As a young family, we enjoyed a few wonderful days at this beautiful, well-kept holiday park. Highly recommended!

This was the third time we were allowed to stay in the beautiful residence. This time, our (step)mother was with her dog. We once again enjoyed all the comforts of the stay (everything present) and the well-enclosed garden (for the dogs). Everything in the kitchen that we can use. A wonderful shower with good, radiant hot water. It is wonderful to walk into the beautiful nature reserve from the cottage. We were lucky with the weather, it was nice and sunny. So it was also pleasant to stay in the garden. Aaltje and her daughter were as always very hospitable and friendly and also helpful. We will certainly come back a fourth time (and more).
