The center of the city of Düren is 3 km away from the apartment. In addition, the location is ideal as a starting point for cycling tours along the Rur.

We offer our small, fine holiday home in the Eifel for guests (also with dog). The renovated bungalow nestles on the southern slope of the Rurtal and overlooks the small town of Untermaubach and its castle. In the immediate vicinity are magnificent hiking trails through former vineyards, the Celtic Hochkoppel and the typical bunts sandstone cliffs along the Rur. Rurtal & the Eifel National Park are particularly attractive for hikers, mountain bikers/e-bikers and nature lovers.

The small vacation home offers tranquility and relaxation. With bird chirping and the first rays of sunshine over the mountain, you wake up in the cozy bed under the sloping roofs of the house. Obermaubach offers a reservoir with ice, coffee and pedal boats. Hiking and cycling trails in nature as much as your heart desires. This former farmyard is surrounded by meadows and despite its quiet location you can reach the Aachen city center by bus in 20 minutes. The bus stop is a 5-minute walk away. The entrance to the first stage of the Eifelsteig hiking trail is also in Kornelimünster.
