The sleeping room in Wierum is a beautiful and cozy apartment with private sauna (for an additional fee), located in a former primary school 100 m from the Wadden Sea. It is located in the middle of the Unesco World Heritage Site, where you can intensively enjoy the peace and beauty of the Wadden area. The apartment is surprisingly spacious (70m2) and can sleep up to 5 people. Children can enjoy themselves on the trampoline, on the grass/soccer field and can also cuddle with our rabbits and guinea pigs.

The Walking Barn is located on the edge of the forest, within walking distance to the Wadden Sea and the Lauwersmeer. Decorated with taste and color, in addition, there are no houses and buildings to be seen if you look out through the high glass front with French doors. The Walking Barn is a cabin on a residential area. You'll sleep on the romantic loft in a spacious double bed. A nice base for Wadding, a day of Schiermonnikoog, hiking, around Lauwersmeer cycling, fish food, etc. :)

Marina, Lauwersmeer National Park, Wadden Sea, Schiermonnikoog, everything is close. Oostmahorn has several restaurants and a golf course.

We had a wonderful weekend with our son (8) in Johannes' cottage. What attention has been paid to the construction and furnishing of this cottage, wonderfully how many details Johannes has managed to add, we recognized objects that our grandmother used to cook with or that were in her kitchen. The beds are comfortable, the cottage is equipped with every comfort. Bicycles are available, but you can also go many ways from here by car. We hope to come back again to see more of the area.

We spent a weekend with two families including four children. Location is beautiful, quiet yet close to all amenities. The accommodation is very complete and equipped with all the comforts. The children enjoyed the space with table tennis table, pool table and shuffleboard for hours. Ideal when it rained outside. The horses outside were also very popular with the children. The sauna and plunge pool for the parents made the house complete. Mieke is very hospitable and gave us good tips for the surroundings. We had a fantastic weekend. The kids can't wait to go again. THANKS for hospitality Mieke!

A great cottage with a beautiful view of the water - the private dock is a dream and the sauna is the absolute luxury (including sea view). We felt very comfortable and were certainly not there for the last time.

Apart from the weather, we spent two very nice weeks in the cozy little cottage. Location and amenities correspond to the offer. Everything you need for two people is available. The cottage is very cozy. The garden, with its many nooks and crannies, offers a variety of options for spending time. You can reach the dike in just a few steps and take hours-long walks. In a few minutes you can be in Lauwersoog or Holwerd by car or bicycle and from there you can take the ferries to Schiermonnikog or Ameland. In the village itself, there is a small café around the corner and a small pub 500 meters away (both open only on weekends). The nearest shopping facility is 4 kilometers away in Amjun. The supermarket there and the butcher opposite have a fantastic range, and on the way there is the small farmers' market Boltahuis with great regional products. Kordula, we thank you 🥰
