Best Airbnb I have ever stayed at! Comfortable beds(like sleeping on a cloud) amenities and extras, soda and water in fridge, even butter and milk and cereal, the tea collection, the back yard oasis, both day and night,pool, personal welcome, kitchen well stocked, bathroom extras from lotion to vanity sets. We felt very welcomed and accepted. We will stay here next time we come from the states!

I had such a great time staying here! The place was super clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. It really felt like a home away from home. The host was friendly and easy to communicate with, and check-in was totally hassle-free. I loved the quiet neighborhood—it was peaceful but still close to everything. I’d definitely come back next time I’m in Thunder Bay and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thanks again for a great stay!

Unit was exactly as described. Beds were very comfortable. Host was very responsive. This by far was the best place in Thunder Bay I have stayed so far. Will book again.

If you are fortunate enough, to spend some time on Minnesota’s North Shore, you won’t be disappointed staying here. Brenda and Tom‘s place is exactly as described. It is more than we expected. It is clean, beautifully decorated, and a lovely place to spend a vacation. The location is perfect and so scenic! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and even spotted an Eagle! We had a wonderful time hiking and exploring the surrounding area, including Gooseberry Falls, Grand Marais, and the quaint town of Two Harbors.

The condo was well stocked with items necessary for a rental. It is convenient to many areas of interest and it provides a lot of amenities. Pool, sauna, hot tub, pool table, ping pong, and areas outdoors for sitting or exploring. Owner was very quick to respond to messages. Great place with plenty of sleeping areas. Owner also provided ideas for dining and for things to do. Highly recommend!

The Airbnb was wonderful. We loved sitting in the peaceful backyard and it was easy to walk to nearby restaurants.

Great quiet location, comfortable bed and comfortable chair cushions for the balcony chairs. Back alley access instructions had a lot of potholes, out of Stephen’s control, but we found a smoother route. There are multiple options pending on alley conditions. Steep stairway, but handrails on both sides made entry and exit safe and easy. Will definitely use again.

Absolutely gorgeous location and super clean home! Well stocked with basics and comfortable inside and out. Many chairs to choose from outside. Bug spray and umbrellas available. We loved sitting on the deck by the lake when the weather was nice. Incredibly peaceful! We heard loons, geese and that's about it. No traffic/train sounds - very quiet! Loved it! Beds/pillows/towels were comfy, as was the sofa. Monica left us a package of pancake mix and everything we needed to make it. So thoughtful and delicious! Couple things to mention - bring slippers the floors are cold and there are no rugs. Also, there is no tv, but there are some dvds in a cabinet for when there is inclimate weather. We were able to get online more than half the time. (T-Mobile). The bathtub is a tall soaker, but a bit harder to get into and very slippery on the bottom. There is nowhere to eat/buy groceries nearby. The closest ones we found were in Thunder Bay 45 min up the road. A very nice place!

Kelly’s place made my family’s trip to Thunder Bay a memorable one. I was really impressed with how fully stocked the place was with supplies! We didn’t need anything extra. There were so many games and activities around, we never got bored. The space and size of the place was perfect for hosting a large group. I would highly recommend! The only thing very minor thing I would’ve wished for was the dock have been in the water, as we did a lot of swimming through the weekend. Overall 10/10. Thank you Kelly for an amazing weekend!

Jenny's home was just lovely and my only regret was that we'd only booked for two nights. There are a lot of nice touches to make guests feel at home. The house feels fairly secluded since it's set back from the road and is a less than 10 minute drive from downtown Grand Marais. We had a great time and would love to come back.

This sweet house exceded expectations and could not have been more inviting and comfortable. It was hard to leave! But I'm already planning a return...highly recommended for anyone looking for a most tranquil escape.

This was our second time at Deidra’s Tofte home, and if possible - it was even more magical than our first time. Not only is she an amazing host - we basically planned our itinerary around all her wonderful recommendations - but this house is just a gem on the north shore. Well stocked, better than photos, and pristine views of the lake each day. We’ll be back again and again 😊

This house is in Hovland on the North Shore (relatively close to the Canadian border), and the view from the house of Lake Superior is breathtaking. You can just sit there and enjoy it. The home is well-equipped, with a lovely wood-burning fireplace (it made an especially lovely aroma in the house). We also liked the charming river bordering the property, it's literally a small river going through which gives more feelings of wilderness. Easy access to Grand Marais, Lutsen, and Grand Portage, and also to abundant hiking trails, which we really enjoyed.

We had absolutely everything anyone could possibly need at our fingertips and we would stay here again in a heart beat. The stay and experience was cozy. The location of the room and resort provides you with a nice view, and just enough room for my partner and I to relax and unwind. The tv has all of the streaming services that you could need and want— you just have to sign in yourself. I will say that the building has a very strong smell of chlorine when you walk in, but it doesn’t seep into the room. The room was a bit muggy when we walked in due to the extreme change in weather and humidity. Shane and Nicole were very kind in trusting us to remove the a/c unit cover so that we could enjoy a/c during our stay. Given that the unit is on the first floor of the resort, you do hear footsteps above you, so if you’re a light sleeper, that may be something you want to plan for. Overall, it was a nice stay and just what we needed for our short getaway.

We've typically stayed on the North Shore in a group of 3 or 4, but this time it was just two of us, so we stayed in a smaller space this time. At first, it seemed a bit small compared to other places we've stayed at (that often had 3 levels), but 2 bathrooms and a separate enclosed bedroom upstairs. A very smart floor plan. Turned out to be perfect for two people who like a little bit of extra space. Usually I can come up with at least one flaw, but this place was pretty much perfect.

Amazing place! Loved the fireplace and the pool/hottub. It was perfect for our very cold weekend. The host was amazing with my questions and responded within minutes.

Great rental! Easy to find, right on Hwy 61, but not loud. We had four ladies so we used both pull out sofas plus the bed and there was still room to hang out in the unit. Sheets, pillows, blankets, and towels are very well stocked! The building itself is wonderful. Pool, hot tub, and sauna were amazing after a day hike. The patio is gorgeous - we brought our homemade dinner out there before the bugs came out. There are stairs that lead to the shoreline if you want to dip your toes in the freezing lake. Even the game shelf in the lobby was fruitful! Hosts were very responsive but we had no issues at all with the unit or checking in. The area: we hiked Cascade River State Park to Lookout Point. A few general store and tourists spots in Tofte. Coho Cafe for breakfast - not a lot of vegan/DF options but tasty food!

What a perfect condo! So comfy and beautifully decorated. We love our Lutsen mountain vacations and this location can’t be beat. The ski in/ski out could not be more convenient! Nice little deck to sit and relax and enjoy a little après ski time. Mountain views and quick access to pool and hot tub! We definitely will be back.
