We stayed in Oak Cottage at Elms Farm Cottages and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Carol was a fantastic host - very communicative, flexible and helpful and the cottage was perfect - very comfortable and with excellent amenities - all the small things taken care of. We would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back one day.

We had a great two night stay at Julie's place, grandma, daughter and three grandchildren aged 4, 7 and 9, all loved it especially so the children being close to the goats and seeing kitten and dogs. Easy to find and great welcome and such friendly people. We had everything we needed and more, appreciated the cereals, fruit and biscuits. Such comfy beds too and lots of hot water. Great location to visist the brilliant White Post Farm. Grandchildren didn't want to leave. Thank you Julie and sorry couldn't remember your partners name.. brilliant hosts. Judy.

We would have loved to stay longer in this elegant, historic but fully modernized rural retreat. By some quirk of Airbnb booking we got it for one night only but it was like coming home. The garden alone made our short stay enchanting. It could not have been better.

We had a wonderful break here and it worked as the perfect base for our long weekend visiting Cadwell Park. We will certainly be back and would recommend anyone looking for somewhere to stay in this area to strongly consider the Shamba, it truly was an idyllic setting and had everything we needed.

We all just wanted to say a huge thank you. From the moment we made the booking right through to the end of our stay, we were thoroughly impressed with the communication, the absolutely stunning barn, and all the thoughtful little touches. We were there to celebrate a hen do, and it was all a surprise for the bride. To say she was blown away by the barn would be an understatement – we all were! We’e never stayed anywhere so beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and so well-equipped with everything you could possibly need – and more. The barn itself and the surrounding area were simply gorgeous. The hot tub was the largest any of us had ever seen, and the amount of space – both inside and out – was incredible. The lovely ladies who welcomed us made us feel at home the moment we arrived. It’s in a perfect location: close to everything, yet it feels like your own peaceful little retreat. We’ll definitely be returning and recommending it to family and friends. Thank you so much!

Great place to stay. Lovely surroundings, friendly working farm, my kids loved seeing the piglets and feeding them. A walk into Lincoln in just over an hour, through the fields, brilliant. Till Barn does exactly what it says on the tin: everything is appropriate to the setting, and the photos give an accurate picture. There is a well-equipped kitchen, clean, good-quality linen and thoughtful décor, all of which made us feel comfortable on arrival. Chats with Catrin and Peter were friendly, informative and reassuring. Lincoln is nearby, and the host folder gives good, detailed information and recommendations. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the overall vibe is of staying with unobtrusive friends rather than staying in a hotel room. We're highly likely to ask to come back!

Absolutely beautiful we were a bit worried 16 of us sharing but it was so spacious and the rooms were spread out. The kids also loved the park and feeding the animals in a morning

We had a lovely stay for a birthday weekend away. The house had everything we needed and Helen was very helpful. It was extremely relaxing and peaceful and the hotub is fantastic! The welcome pack was an amazing surprise!

A beautiful well cared for cottage in a lovely village with walks from the door. The cottage has everything you need & a lot of love & thought has gone into this home from home. Very dog friendly very clean with very comfy beds. You will not be disappointed if you book this cottage we really didn’t want to leave. This is a fantastic place to stay. Spotless, comfortable and in a great location that feels private whilst being walking distance from the village, beach and the farm park next door. Well stocked with all the essentials and more. Spacious; the 7 of us easily fitted into the living area without feeling on top of each other. Walking distance if desired (just over 2.5 miles) to Snettisham beach and the RSPB area, but payable parking at both if yous don’t fancy the walk. We were told the beaches become more sandy the further north you go and, although, we didn’t visit all of them we can confirm that it’s definitely all sand by the time you reach Holkham! The next door farm park is good for all ages, the child with us loved feeding the goats and lambs. The adults enjoyed the Archeological Trail and we all enjoyed the Deer Safari. We had a great holiday here and definitely recommend it to all

We had a fabulous stay in udder barn-a perfect getaway from home!! The hospitality was warm and very welcoming. We really appreciated the well equiped kitchen and we really enjoyed the pool. The barn was incredialy neat ,tidy and cosy-a real gem! Thank you Sue and Jim for everything, also being available to answer our many questions with such kindness and patience. An exceptional property in pristine condition with everything you could need whilst on holiday. spacious both inside and out located in a quiet rural location yet close enough to main roads to enjoy the surrounding area.

Wow!!! A truly amazingly spacious house. Just spent 4 nights there celebrating my 60th with the family. Simon and Mandy met my husband as he arrived to go through everything. The house is fully equipped with everything you would need. Literally home from home. There was 6 adults, 2 toddlers and a dog and with so much room we could spread out. The children loved being able to run around and of course the pool!! The men thoroughly enjoyed the games room every evening especiallythe pinball machine. Us ladies chilled in the lounge room with a wine. We asked if one of the double single rooms could be made into a superking and the hosts were only to happy to oblige. The house was exactly as described, in fact better! Located in a rural quiet area. Spotlessly clean too. Bath towels supplied were so soft. The hosts kept in touch and answered all my messages promptly. Can't think of anything to fault as so perfect. Would definitely recommend a stay at Hill Crest House.

This is a really beautiful place to stay, and Sherry and Irven looked after us extremely well. The area is not one I know well, but we loved it - if you want peaceful countryside, but lots that is really interesting to visit, then it's ideal. We will definitely be coming back! Beautiful one level cottge in the most peaceful setting. We were blessed with good weather and enjoyed sitting on the balcony and listening to the birds. The cottage is very unique in having a garden room. Well equipped kitchen, good TV, wifi coverage and nice bathroom. We thought the cottage was also excellent value We enjoyed the Lincolnshire Wolds, which we didn't know much about before visiting. We had day trips to Louth, Cleethorpes beach, International Bomber Command Centre, Elsham Gardens and woodland walks. Plenty to do Note for accessibility: there are 3 steep steps down into the garden room and 3x 1steps in the bedroom/bathroom corridor with one much larger than the others . Tip: arrive in daylight as we struggled to find the cottage in the dark. The owner was helpful when contacted to guide us to it.

The cottage was perfectly clean and comfortable in a lovely, peaceful location. The adults appreciated the wine, and the kids loved their Easter eggs! The weather allowed us to enjoy the garden and the kids had fun with the toys. A perfect location for exploring local walk and bike routes.

Stayed here for 2 nights & it is an amazing place. The accommodation is cosy & homely & so clean. Probably the cleanest Airbnb accommodation I've ever had. The bed was so comfortable & it's just such a cosy place. There was milk & orange juice, eggs, bread, pastries & cereals, etc there on arrival which was much appreciated. A fenced little garden which my dog loved. Was so peaceful & relaxing sitting in the garden in the afternoon. We went for a relaxing weekend break & that is exactly what we got, with the added bonus of horses there too. Roxanne clearly cares about the welfare of her guests, as it is clear to see how much thought is put into the arrival of guests, & all the added little extras that are put in to make it so lovely there. Thank you Roxanne & family. We shall definitely be booking to stay with you again soon.

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful and safe cottage surrounded by beautiful countryside then this is it. Both Richard and Judith are helpful, friendly and always contactable should you have a question. I stayed here for 1 month and felt completely safe. There is a small Co-op nearby and Louth is a lovely market town only 15 mins away. The accommodation was like home from home, spotlessly clean and the wifi signal was excellent. Oh and the night sky - spectacular - with no light pollution. Simply wonderful!
