Lake house holiday rentals in Echo Lake

Staying at Michael's lake house was the perfect retreat for our family. The first thing that stood out: The quiet. The house is on a cove just off the main lake, and it's so peaceful. We started our mornings with coffee on the screened in porch (yay no mosquitoes to worry about with kids!) and then spent the days kayaking, paddleboarding, and lying in the hammock. The lake itself is gorgeous and there's a sandbar that our girls loved! Meals were a breeze. The kitchen had everything we needed and was a lovely space to cook in (not to mention clean!). We grilled a couple of times too, which, for us, is a vacation must. It rained a little bit while we were there, but the house was well stocked with board games and honestly, everything was so beautifully decorated, it was just as relaxing indoors as outside. We'd totally come back here again. Thanks for a wonderful stay! Joel

Really cool place in a really cool location

We stayed at this home for our wedding weekend and were genuinely impressed. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked. The hot tub heated quickly and worked great, the showers had excellent water pressure, and there were practical extras throughout the house like hair ties, toiletries, and more than enough towels. The house was cozy and every detail felt well-considered. We’re already talking about coming back for a future trip. This was the perfect place to stay.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 15th wedding anniversary trip to Fish Tales on Moose Pond. It was a bonus that kayaks were there to use. (Saved us from bringing our own for such a far trip) We were looking for peace and quiet from our busy lives and it was wonderful. So quiet! The cabin was clean, comfortable and fit our needs perfectly. The view was magical, as was the sound of the loons in the evening. Sitting around a campfire is good for the soul. We will definitely consider returning for another trip.

The house has beautiful views and access to the lake which made our stay wonderful, and we loved the close proximity to Wolfeboro so we could enjoy the local restaurants, shopping, and activities! The house was was clean and comfortable, and was well appointed with supplies and amenities. Erin was a pleasure to communicate with. She was prompt in responding to my inquiries and provided the necessary information to make our stay easy and enjoyable. The house is a gem and we look forward to coming back!

We’ve stayed at this home twice now. Once in the winter and just now over Memorial Day. Both times it has been to reunite our family at a mutually convenient location. This place does not disappoint in either season for access and amenities for both the younger family members and the adults. Highly recommend

My family and I had a serene experience staying here. Although the weather was mostly rainy or cloudy, we loved the lake location and maximized the indoor, outdoor, and nearby activity options. The hosts were so responsive, regardless of the question, and made this a truly delightful visit. This was my parents’ first Airbnb experience and it set the bar higher than I could have imagined! My family and I are already talking about coming back!!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. Lots of amenities and the hosts are very friendly and quick to respond to any questions. It was roomy for our family of 5 and the beds were really comfortable. I’d say it easily accommodates 6-7 people. If you are adventurous and don’t mind sleeping in a small loft or a basement setting you could fit 10-11.

We had the most amazing stay at this Ossipee Airbnb! The barn space and game room were such a unique and fun addition—perfect for hanging out in the evenings. The property is right on the pond, which made for the most peaceful mornings and gorgeous sunset paddles. We loved having the kayaks available—it made getting out on the water super easy and so much fun. Inside, the home was spotless and incredibly well-stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to extra blankets. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into making guests feel comfortable. Michael and Randle were incredibly responsive and helpful hosts. And the huge Blackstone grill was great for our party—we cooked outside while soaking in the view. One night we got Pizza Barn as hosts recommended because it was featured on Phantom Gourmet… yum! Whether you’re fishing off the dock or just relaxing by the fire, this place is the perfect peaceful getaway. We can’t wait to come back!

It was wonderful to be hosted by Mike and Johanna. As seasoned hosts, they had anticipated every one of our needs and potential questions about our stay and gave us detailed information. They responded to my queries patiently and promptly. This is our seventh year visiting Conway but only our second time at an Airbnb here. This is definitely the best way to experience a week-long stay at Conway. I particularly appreciated the workout equipment because of which I was able to keep up with my Pilates classes online. The kids (5 & 3) had a blast exploring the place. There were so many kids toys that we didn’t have any use for the ones we brought along. But do bring max strength mosquito repellent!!

We really enjoyed our stay in this cozy home. The kids enjoyed ice skating and ice fishing and we also planned fun activities like skiing and snow mobiling within 30 minutes from the house. The host was very responsive and very friendly.

place was bigger than expected . all the towels were high quality and seemed brand new as well. would most definitely come back again

We had a great extended long weekend stay at Karen’s!! The place was warm & inviting- perfect for a colder than anticipated Memorial Day Weekend — we took advantage of the pellet stove and were still able to take in awesome lake views from the comfort of the living room. Our young girls had a blast “swimming” in the large jacuzzi bath tub and playing/ sleeping on the bunk beds in one of the bedrooms. We did manage to get out on our boat which was easy to dock at the slip associated with the rental. No fish caught this time around but still fun trying. The location of Karen’s place is awesome- very close/ walking distance to tasty restaurants & public boat launch. We cooked most of our own meals & were grateful for the well stocked kitchen as well as having a grocery store less than 5 min away. Karen was a fantastic host with quick response times from time of booking & then following checkout ensuring that our stay was as seamless as possible. We hope to return in the future! 😊

The spot was perfect for a weekend of skiing and riding snowmobiles. Exactly what we were looking for in a vacation home. Paul was great at recommending places and his response time was great. Also the wood burning stove made the weekend cozy and perfect.

Yanire is an amazing host! I was pleasantly surprised by how quick the responses were to any question I had. The place is beautiful and spotless. Yanire was nice enough to offer some local restaurants and attractions which were perfect! Can’t recommend this place enough!

Very cute, spacious house. Was fully equipped with everything you could need but not overdone and cluttered. In a very peaceful neighborhood that was perfect for walking the dogs in the morning alongside the lake.

This is a beautiful, brand new, and pristine house. The location is perfect, close to Meredith. It’s a very short drive to Fun Spot and a close walk to the neighborhood beach. Very clean and modern. A great stay!

Beautiful space - perfect for two couples or small families. My husband and I went for a weekend away with my parents. Loved the location being close most places around the lake and Megan was super responsive to anything we needed. 5 stars all the way!

We had a great stay at Brandon’s place. The house is cozy and clean, and the location right on the lake made it really special. We grilled every night, used the kayaks during the day, and hung out by the fire pit in the evenings. It was super quiet and peaceful, and the view from the dining table made board games and meals even better. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the whole space just had a really relaxed, homey feel. Brandon was easy to communicate with and everything went smoothly. It was a great spot to unplug and enjoy some time by the water — we’d definitely come back.

Absolutely beautiful cottage, we felt right at home. The kitchen and glass window living room was absolutely beautiful. The Airbnb has all the amenities you would need for your getaway. Easy access to all tourist destinations, felt like we didn’t have enough time to tackle everything. Michael was very responsive and helpful during our stay. 10/10 recommend!! Will definitely be back!!!!

We enjoyed our stay in the cute cabin. Since it was winter and we were mostly away from the cabin visiting family, we didn't get to take advantage of the lake and activities. But we enjoyed sipping coffee at the kitchen table and taking in the view of the frozen lake.

Everything was exceptional. Pristine premises with lots of room. Beds were cozy, bathrooms spotless. Everything you could think of was readily available. We did not use the pool and facilities but looked very nice. Easy to find and the property provides ample privacy. Amazing and if in the area would rent again.

Our stay was lovely! We went up for my husband's Birthday and Father's Day. He loved it! Prompt response from host when asked a question, and host made recommendations on where to get the best breakfast on our way home. Loved that everything was in walking distance. It was so peaceful and beautiful surroundings. We loved the towne square in the valley, had everything you need. No driving necessary.

I booked this house to accommodate my family of 4 and another family of 4. There were 4 adults and 4 kids age 2 to 5. This house was the perfect space to accommodate us. The house is 20ish minutes away from many of the kid friendly activities like the Scenic Railroad, Ryan’s Airpark, Cranmore, Zebs, and Kahuna Laguna. The mile leading up to the house is pretty steep and has a fair amount of curves so it was somewhat difficult to get in and out of during the snow storm we were there for but the plows were very on top of road maintenance. I spoke with Renee the day we checked in with a couple check in questions and she was kind, clear, and responsive. The house is also clearly labeled throughout making it easy to find things or access equipment throughout the house. Overall, this was a great stay and will definitely stay here again when we go back to North Conway in the future.
