very nice landlords, were greeted kindly with wine and flowers. Apartment as described, everything clean. Good location Shopping close, beach, restaurants reachable by bike in 5 minutes. Great sandy beach, many great excursion destinations accessible by bike on beautiful paths. Leiden is very worth seeing only 7 km away. Landlord has also given tips. Highly recommended. Apartment offers plenty of space even for bikes in the garden.

Laura and her husband Arjan were the perfect hosts! Arjan served us breakfast each morning which included a basket of fresh bread, fruits and cheese. Arjan provided us with great recommendations and most especially - showed us how to use the tram system! It is a lovely apartment and they made us feel very welcome.

Linda is a perfect host and communicated with us before, during and after our stay, answering all our questions. Finding the property and checking in was easy. The location is a very quiet residential area, with reliable transport links (tram and bus) to all the major sights of interest, shopping centre and railway stations. The property itself is a beautiful art deco apartment which retains a lot of its original features, without sacrificing 21st century comfort and amenities. The bed was really comfortable and we slept very well. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and has everything you need to prepare and cook a full meal and there is a dishwasher (hurray!). Shower is great with an unfailing supply of hot water and having a washing machine and tumble drier was a real bonus as we arrived with a lot of laundry. The neighbours were friendly. If we come back to Den Haag, we hope to stay here again as it's a great base from which to explore both city and seaside.

We had a great stay at this apartment! Everything was very clean, tastefully decorated and furnished with a lot of love for detail. We felt comfortable right from the beginning. The location was ideal – quiet but still central, so we could easily reach everything. We particularly liked the warm communication with the host- always friendly, helpful and reliable. A small note: the stairs to the apartment are – typical of this beautiful old building – a bit steep. It wasn't an issue for us, but you should know. We would love to come back anytime and can absolutely recommend the place!

Our stay at Vincent's apartment was lovely. It really was super clean, absolutely no clutter, and the bed was very comfortable. The street was quiet and away from the touristy areas. However, it was just a short walk to the busier areas and the museums, a real plus. The steps up to the apartment were indeed very steep. We mentioned this to our Dutch friends and they said "welcome to Amsterdam"! They are part of every house so we accepted this and got used to them. Vincent's Check In instructions were clear and we had no problems. We had a very memorable stay. Thank you, Vincent.

Arthur's place is an airy, light, comfortable apartment on the top floor of a family home in the town of Hilversum. There are lots of places to eat and drink there; we found a wonderful Ethiopian restaurant. Being a 20 minute walk from the station it is the perfect base for visiting Amsterdam (or Utrecht) if you don't want to stay in the busy city centres.

Sebastian’s apartment was a peaceful haven away from the busy CBD area. We were treated to magnificent flowers and champagne in a stylish and traditional canal house. I would highly recommend staying here to enjoy this unique property. Sebastian was always available for helpful tips on this cool district. Please note that this is not a suitable choice for guests with mobility issues due to many stairs.

Everything was perfect! Coffee & tea supplied. Lovely apartment, lent us bikes foc. We used the pick up service from Amsterdam Centraal Station which was friendly, convenient & punctual. It was also good value for money. Best AirBnB so far! Thank you Bart, Elias & Renee.

We were a group of girls at Leon's house. It was really super nice, everything you need and much more! And I liked it a lot. The house was clean and it is really fast to go to Amsterdam by public transport or car. We will be back!

Beautiful family home and welcoming hosts-highly recommend for families! Hosts were so helpful in recommending nearby restaurants, offering tips for the transit system etc. I wish we had spent more time enjoying their home during this trip to visit Amsterdam as the home is a gem-the outdoor spaces are lovely. The movie projector screen and large collection of movies was so fun to use. The home is in an ideal location to use as a home base to access nearby Amsterdam or the even closer and very charming town of Zaanse Schans.

Tulipa was such a gorgeous place to stay. It is beautifully finished and very comfortable. We stayed on a family holiday with three generations and ten total people - and everyone was perfectly accommodated for. The en-suites are high end, the beds are very comfortable and the open space upstairs is lovely. There’s lots of free on-street parking, and it’s a few minutes walk to a bus stop which takes you to a train station. I would definitely recommend staying here!

We (5 friends+1 dog) had very nice days in the accommodation. Great quiet rural location - surrounded by nature. Nevertheless, the way to Amsterdam is quick and uncomplicated (small tip: there is a ferry). Victor and his wife are very friendly and uncomplicated. So if you need some peace and quiet but still want to be in the city or do other activities quickly, this is the place for you. Edam and Volendam are also highly recommended. A day trip to the North Sea is also worthwhile ;-) We will be happy to come back.

We had a very nice time in the accommodation. Stefan and Tim were very friendly and always responded directly to our questions. The facility is beautiful and equipped with everything we needed. With 3 adults who are not intimate with each other, the sleeping arrangements were a little too cramped. Unfortunately, a window could not be opened in one of the bedrooms. The property is very nice and well suited for a cozy evening. The walk to the beach was a bit longer than expected, but it is doable on foot. The surroundings are very beautiful and always worth a trip!

We were guests in Marja's house for a week in June 2025 and felt very comfortable. Our 15-year-old daughter had her own kingdom upstairs with a bathroom and enjoyed it very much😉. The house offers a good starting point for various activities - very good train connection to Amsterdam, wonderful bike tours in the area or just a visit to the beach. Gladly again!

We (2 adults, 2 children) felt very comfortable at Ruud and Marieke's. The house was very cozy and everything was clean and as described. From there, you can easily reach everything on foot (the town with many restaurants and the beach). The hostess was always available and very friendly. We will be happy to come back!

This apartment was amazing for our quick trip to Amsterdam. The location is perfect—right on one of the main canals and walkable to everything. Helena was such a gracious host and gave us some great recs for vintage shopping, drinks, and eats. The space was well appointed and she was so flexible with our arrival and departure times. I would 100% recommend this place and would stay here again on a future visit.

We really loved it at Dick and Thildy's place. The two are very friendly, open and give great tips for the area. The apartment was beautifully decorated, you felt very comfortable - surrounded by flower fields and a rural idyll with 2 sweet cats, ducks & chickens. Despite the construction of the new accommodations, we did not feel disturbed - I am curious how they look then!! 🙏🏻 Definitely a great place to explore North Holland and experience the colorful flower fields!

My family of four stayed at Max’s place for four nights. The location is great, with just about an hour’s drive to many popular destinations in Holland. The view of the lake from the balcony was beautiful. The apartment was clean and spacious. We truly enjoyed our stay in this quiet and peaceful neighborhood, and we will recommend it to our friends and family if they visit Holland in the future.

We were greeted personally by Remy and he showed us the apartment and explained how to operate the hot tub. He also gave us recommendations for the area. We were always able to reach him via message and he was very helpful. The apartment and jacuzzi are very private so you feel comfortable. In addition, the accommodation was super clean and pleasant accents were set by fresh flowers.

We stayed here for just a few days before hopping over to Brussels and it was perfect for three of us. The apartment is beautiful - pictures don’t do it justice - and everything is as listed on the listing. The neighborhood is also super walkable with tons of restaurants, cafes and shops nearby, not to mention you are less than 10 mins from the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh, and many other recommended museums. There are also many train and bus lines nearby to take you into the city center. My only note for folks is that the stairs to get to the apartment are incredibly steep and (regardless of how large your suitcase is, it’s likely to be tight) so I would consider that if you are a person with any mobility issues. It was worth it though for the beautiful space and I would absolutely stay here again!
