What a delightful experience! The house was as advertised and more. Kate provided many thoughtful touches (easy entertainment navigating, extra kitchen and food treats, fully stocked kitchen and cooking aids, games, beach supplies), which were wonderful surprises. She operates a pet friendly house, with pet supplies too. The location is marvelous, and the Surf City beaches are wonderful. She truly is a five star hostess, and this lovely home is perfect for a family/pet holiday.

We had a wonderful stay and cannot recommend this home enough! Excellent access to the beach and the home has everything you could need and so much more! Hosts were very easy to communicate with and responded quickly. We would love to come back!

We loved our stay at Deanna’s place! The house was great inside and out; we especially enjoyed the porches and backyard. The location is fantastic - being so close to the beach and being able to walk or bike to restaurants (we even biked to the grocery store) was fantastic. The kitchen was well-appointed and we cooked several meals in, which was much easier with the kids. We didn’t need but noticed baby gates and high chairs, things that still catch my eye after years of traveling when our kids were a bit younger. The kids loved the “secret reading room” downstairs about as much as they enjoyed playing in the game room. My folks joined us, and the 7 of us had plenty of space for socializing and enough privacy as needed. All in all, we had a wonderful trip. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

The house exceeded our expectations. There is beach equipment/towels available for guests, along with a rise off area by the garage. The kitchen is fully stocked compared to other air bnbs I've stayed in. Check in/check out is super easy and the responsive hosts created a helpful guidebook to answer all questions and even included restaurant/activity recommendations. The walk to the beach access was much shorter than we thought from the map view, so this is a perfect location in vicinity to the beach. The house was spotless when we arrived, all of the linens are high quality and cleaned very well. The mattresses and pillows were also extremely comfy! We've decided that Topsail will be our regular beach spot and we'll be staying here whenever possible!!

Shavon was a lovely, proactive and responsive host. Beautiful location and home. Easy to walk to public access beach with covered picnic area and clean restrooms. Love the coffee shop and pizza restaurant a few steps away.

Dune it right was AMAZING! My wife and I had a fantastic weekend. House was just footsteps away from the beach! Everything was extremely clean. The host Carrie was awesome and very responsive. Would recommend a stay here to anyone! Thanks Carrie! Can’t wait to come back and stay longer.

The place was beautiful with direct ocean views .. loved that on split beach house on quieter part of beach without ton of traffic listening to the waves crash onshore and enjoyed the soft gentle breeze every evening from balconies pretty ved amazing . The decor was on point. Beds were very comfortable. The host and communication was the best. I had a couple of quick questions and Andrew answered promptly as well as being super friendly before arrival, upon arrival and checkout. Appreciated the care hosts took to ensure us as guests felt right at home. The elevator 🛗 was very handy for my elderly parents traveling with this vacation. We loved grilling out and enjoying cornhole on Mother’s Day. The pool was closed and opens Memorial through Labor - which was ok for us.Overall great experience and exactly what needed as relax, reset, recenter and rejuvenate.

We had a great time staying in this cozy cottage. Mike was very responsive and helpful with the questions we had. This is our second time staying in this duplex. Both sides are equally as great! The small fenced in yard for the dogs and being able to sit on the porch where you can hear and see the ocean is so peaceful. Would stay again!

We loved our stay here. It was impeccably clean and the place was decorated with the perfect beach vibes. It was a short walk to the beach and the pool was nice to have right outside the door. It was also quiet even though there was a lot of action around. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a fantastic stay at this beach condo! It was spotless, well-stocked, and super comfortable. The location was perfect — just steps from both the pool and the beach. Nick was easy to work with and very responsive, which made everything even smoother. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

We had such a fun time staying here! The house was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable trip. It’s in an extremely walkable area—just a short stroll to the beach. The kids especially loved the pool, and the overall setup was very family-friendly. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything even smoother. We couldn’t have asked for a better location or experience—highly recommend and would absolutely stay again

The house was very beautiful, very clean upon arriving with a fully stocked big kitchen as described. Fully stocked coffee bar and wine chiller. The living room is a nice big size. The lay out of the house is very unique which gives multi families a sense of privacy. There are 3 flights of stairs, that are very steep and the entry stairs are very steep. I wouldn't suggest it for older people or as in our case, an amputee. Our host was very responsive. The pool was clean, decks clean. Super nice quite neighborhood. There is ample parking. All and all Super cute private house, with a small pool and sound access.

We had the best beach vacation at Kristin’s place. The house was just as described and very well stocked with just about everything we needed for a great stay. The kitchen was one of best for folks like us who cook most meals - plenty of pots and pans, utensils, and lots of dishes. Beds were all super comfy. And the use of the beach towels, chairs, sun shades and toys were WONDERFUL saving us precious packing space in the car. Kristin was very helpful with all my questions. 10 out of 10! Next time we are headed to the beach, this is the first place I will try to book. Thank you!

Our stay at Alex Moore was beyond my expectation! We had fantastic time, the place felt like home. It is quaint, cozy, beautiful and super clean. The location is perfect. It is within walking distance to the intercoastal, we can walk to many good restaurants, we can watch boats and enjoy life music. The bonus is this house is located in quiet neighborhood. The house has everything we need, very clean and modern kitchen! My children really enjoyed the pool and media room. We can drive 10 minutes to Emerald Isle and with the free parking provided, we were able to avoid the crowded area. Mike is a great host, we appreciate his hospitality and professionalism. We plan to rent this place again if we go to NC. Thank you for making our vacation more memorable and enjoyable.

We (myself and 7 family members) stayed at Matthew’s for a wedding. The place slept the 8 of us comfortably and was gorgeous. We had a fantastic time and will be in contact again in the future!

Cannot say enough wonderful things to describe Melissa's attention to my family's every needs and questions. I don't do AIRBNB that often and Melissa was so immediate to any questions that we had. Melissa made my family's stay feel pampered and special. My wife and I came in from California to see our Daughters and Grandkids who live near Emerald Isle and we could not have had a better stay. The house was better than the pictures, especially the pool area with the palm tree vibe, we all felt like we were in the tropics. The family spent hours in and around the pool rather than time by the Ocean. The air conditioning during the incredible humidity made meals and down time absolutely the best. The inside space and decorations in each room was perfect. My wife was overjoyed with seeing our family and the house accommodations. Melissa and rental made this old soldier's vacation perfect. My husband and I had a magical 3 night stay at The Shack and it wasn't long enough! There is a lot of love and well thought out details put into this beautiful little oasis by the water. First, it is CLEAN and bright. Fluffy towels, pretty granite in the kitchen and bathroom, big fridge and the kitchen is well stocked. Snacks and coffee provided are a sweet touch. We absolutely loved sitting on the upper deck in the comfortable chairs and also the swing on the lower level morning and night. So peaceful and relaxing. The views are spectacular! The location is also a big plus with great restaurants close by. Il Cigno Italiano, the fried whole fish at Fish Hut (OMG!) and martinis and appetizers at Kathryn's Bistro were some favorites. We had so much fun riding the bikes to 34 degrees north for live music just 1 mile away. Emerald Isle beach, Fort Macon, Hammock Beach State Park are close by too. Jennifer is a wonderful host! So friendly, accommodating and quick to respond.

This was our 2nd time staying & simply love it. Very comfortable & you feel like you're at home! We brought our dog with & he was so happy to be with us. There is a lot to do - beach access is easy in & out and sunsets at the pier are breathtaking and the restaurants are awesome. Looking so forward to our next trip back and it can't come soon enough! Thanks again for opening your doors to our family!!

Perfect location in a cute community. Easy walk right out to the beach, got to see gorgeous sunsets daily from one of many decks, and ample space on the interior to not feel like we were on top of each other. Justin is also one of the most responsive hosts, which we were so appreciative of.

What an amazing stay we had. Walking distannce to the beach and a short drive to the local restaurants.The canopy was so pretty with deer,rabbits,turtles and lots of squirrels. Andrew was a great host! The kitchen is stocked well and had everything we needed to prepare evening meals. The beds where very comfortable. I wish a could give it more than 5 stars.

We had a wonderful stay at Michael’s AirBnb. The home is beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable, and family/kid friendly (gates at stairways, small kids table in kitchen, some toys, etc.). It is a very short and easy walk to the private beach. The location is also a short drive to Fort Macon (5 min), the Atlantic Beach Town Park (<10 min), and beach stores and restaurants. Michael is very responsive and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend this home and would definitely look into staying there again!

This is such a beautiful space to stay! The views and house make your vacation feel luxurious and relaxing. The main space is open and inviting. The couches are plush and comfy, great for times spent chatting away or watching a movie. (Or a quick nap!) The kitchen is stunning and well stocked. It was easy to make meals together. The pots and pans are fantastic quality, as are the knives. The bathrooms are generally clean, and there’s one for every bedroom. Bedrooms are cozy and the master has an incredible view. There are lots of geese and ducks that come and play in the front canal. The golf cart was easy to access and use. We unfortunately were not able to use the kayaks because how sludgey it was at the kayak launch/neighborhood dock. Definitely check the conditions before pulling out the kayaks! Overall, this is an incredible home and we absolutely loved our time here. Would love to come again!

This place was perfect! Super short walk to the beach, close to restaurants and shops. Everything was spotless! Would stay here again!

We had a great time. The house was so adorable. The road was private and so beautiful. We walked down the road to the water. There were private docks but, we were allowed to walk down the road and the scenery was beautiful. The welcome book was so fantastic. Full of lots of good recommendations.
