Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Emerald Isle

This was our first time in Atlantic Beach and we all really liked it and would like to come back. We would gladly stay at this property again. It is in a quiet, private location, yet very close to the action. We were very comfortable with the size and furnishings. The owner even arranged a sign and balloons in the kitchen wishing us a happy anniversary. The back decks and yard were great for our dogs. We like things as quiet and uncrowded as possible, so we went to the beach at the New Bern Street public access point. There are restrooms and an outdoor shower. Once you are on the actual beach, you can only see big beach houses and no businesses, hotels or condos. We also enjoyed the aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores, and Cape Lookout National Seashore, and highly recommend both. Having a Dollar General right down the street was very convenient, and there is a Food Lion not far down the road. There are also plenty of beach/souvenir shops close by. My husband and I had a magical 3 night stay at The Shack and it wasn't long enough! There is a lot of love and well thought out details put into this beautiful little oasis by the water. First, it is CLEAN and bright. Fluffy towels, pretty granite in the kitchen and bathroom, big fridge and the kitchen is well stocked. Snacks and coffee provided are a sweet touch. We absolutely loved sitting on the upper deck in the comfortable chairs and also the swing on the lower level morning and night. So peaceful and relaxing. The views are spectacular! The location is also a big plus with great restaurants close by. Il Cigno Italiano, the fried whole fish at Fish Hut (OMG!) and martinis and appetizers at Kathryn's Bistro were some favorites. We had so much fun riding the bikes to 34 degrees north for live music just 1 mile away. Emerald Isle beach, Fort Macon, Hammock Beach State Park are close by too. Jennifer is a wonderful host! So friendly, accommodating and quick to respond.

We had such a fun time staying here! The house was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable trip. It’s in an extremely walkable area—just a short stroll to the beach. The kids especially loved the pool, and the overall setup was very family-friendly. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything even smoother. We couldn’t have asked for a better location or experience—highly recommend and would absolutely stay again

What an amazing stay we had. Walking distannce to the beach and a short drive to the local restaurants.The canopy was so pretty with deer,rabbits,turtles and lots of squirrels. Andrew was a great host! The kitchen is stocked well and had everything we needed to prepare evening meals. The beds where very comfortable. I wish a could give it more than 5 stars.

This was PERFECT for a low key beach getaway. My elderly dog and I felt right at home. It’s around the corner to the beach, a short drive to groceries, and no stairs meant my old pup was in his happiest of places. If I can book this again, it will be top of my list!

The house was exactly as pictured & Beata was so friendly & easy to communicate with. The house was very clean (by far the most clean pet-friendly home we have stayed in). You would have no idea it was pet friendly if you were traveling without four legged children. We can’t wait to return next year!

Beautiful home close to beach! Clean and perfect space for our family with toddler. Allison was a wonderful host with responsive communication to questions and recommendations. Our stay felt right at home and can't wait to come back!

This is such a beautiful space to stay! The views and house make your vacation feel luxurious and relaxing. The main space is open and inviting. The couches are plush and comfy, great for times spent chatting away or watching a movie. (Or a quick nap!) The kitchen is stunning and well stocked. It was easy to make meals together. The pots and pans are fantastic quality, as are the knives. The bathrooms are generally clean, and there’s one for every bedroom. Bedrooms are cozy and the master has an incredible view. There are lots of geese and ducks that come and play in the front canal. The golf cart was easy to access and use. We unfortunately were not able to use the kayaks because how sludgey it was at the kayak launch/neighborhood dock. Definitely check the conditions before pulling out the kayaks! Overall, this is an incredible home and we absolutely loved our time here. Would love to come again!

We love staying here. It was our first time Emerald Island and will definitely go back and love to stay at Jessica‘s house. She was very responsive and helpful and the house that everything we needed.

My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary at A Wave From it All, and it did not disappoint. We stayed for 4 nights, and were able to enjoy the beach and the activities with no problem. The only downside was that the pool was unfortunately closed for our time here, and we had originally chose this place based on the fact that there was also a pool, however that isn’t something Jenna could control of course as they were doing construction on it; we did not know until we arrived. However, the restaurants and the boardwalk are all very close, as well as the beach access being right across from our house. We walked the pond most nights as well which was nice. Overall, we had a great experience here and will be staying again next year.

Island Inn provided my wife and me a great little place to stay for our weekend getaway! Short walk to the beach, and plenty to do around the area! Definitely a great idea for a short stay.

We had the best beach vacation at Kristin’s place. The house was just as described and very well stocked with just about everything we needed for a great stay. The kitchen was one of best for folks like us who cook most meals - plenty of pots and pans, utensils, and lots of dishes. Beds were all super comfy. And the use of the beach towels, chairs, sun shades and toys were WONDERFUL saving us precious packing space in the car. Kristin was very helpful with all my questions. 10 out of 10! Next time we are headed to the beach, this is the first place I will try to book. Thank you!

Great place with a lot of privacy and spacious rooms! Loved the area and recommended things to do around the area- sand dollars island was an awesome experience. The place needed a few fixes such as microwave handle that were communicated during our stay but overall would stay again!

The condo was the perfect vacation spot for a couple and our 3 kids. Love the upstairs space & decor. Pool and beach were walking distance. The beach was clean. The area was not overly crowded. Private entrance, safe. Would recommend for a family! Chris was also very responsive & helpful. Thanks for a great family vacation!

Ashley was an excellent host, willing to accommodate our special needs and quick to respond. The place isn't huge, but it is cozy, dog friendly, well accommodated and a half-hearted stones throw from the beach. Would definitely come back.

It was a little expensive but got a near to the beach location, dogs welcome and last minute reservation… it was worth it to be with family!! We were very appreciative of the beach accessories, chairs, umbrellas and coolers. Chairs need to be replaced they have seen enough beach days lol

Perfect location. Everything was clean and it was well-stocked. Check-out instructions were extremely minimal, it was nice to not feel like we had to spend hours leaving like some other places. It is right next to a public beach access, so there was a lot of foot traffic, but the people moved on quickly and settled further down the beach. I wish there were screens in the windows so that we could have opened them, but the sliding door does have a screen which was nice. The owner was very responsive and friendly. We really enjoyed ourselves!

The view of the ocean was absolutely stunning—truly the kind of view you could stare at for hours. The deck was perfect for morning coffee, sunset watching, and everything in between. Inside, the place was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully put together to make us feel right at home. Emily was a fantastic host—responsive, kind, and quick to address any issues that came up. She genuinely cared about our comfort and even went above and beyond to compensate us for a minor inconvenience, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful escape with top-notch hospitality!

This was an absolutely perfect Topsail vacation home! We loved every minute of our stay. The location is absolutely fantastic. So close to the little local shops and restaurants as well as super close to the bridge going over to the mainland.. The house itself was spotless and quite comfortable. Had everything we needed to cook full meals. Plenty of kitchenware for our group of seven. Proximity to the beach is by far the most fantastic detail of this house! The little private sandy beach *yard* attached to the deck is awesome for kids and the beach itself just down a few steps is so amazing. We could even sit in bed and see the ocean waves! This is the best house with beach access and views we've stayed at in Topsail. Also positive to note, the entire property being fenced in felt incredibly safe for kids and was fantastic for our dog. We realized the apartment was a part of the rental unit and we were so pleasantly surprised! It was a great separate space! Overall highly recommend!

Place was beautiful and exactly what was described!! I’ve never stayed at a place that was so stocked up with items I never even thought about. Joshua was very accessible, if I had any issues or questions he was prompt with a response. My family had a great relaxing time and would definitely stay again!!

First time in the area for us. The cottage was in a smaller area with multiple restaurants located in a walking distance to eat at (as long as they're open). Easy walk and drive to the beach. I recommend driving to salter path and parking. It is a short drive and very close by. She also provides beach chairs and toys to take to the beach! We could see pieces of the bay from the front porch, which was nice. The inside area was very clean once we arrived. Very simple check in. It had lots of appliances inside and I loved how much was in the kitchen. Beds were comfy and the shower was nice! We will definitely be back.

This house is very well remodeled and the kitchen, especially is furnished with high-end fixtures. Place is very clean, nice big laundry room. The place itself is great. The only downside is there is not much at all within walking distance, but it’s a short drive to a lot of different restaurants and shops on the coast across the bay.
