Beachfront holiday rentals in English Channel

Philip has been a great host, and we had an incredible stay. Not only was the house absolutely stunning, but the location couldn’t be better. Despite the weather still being chilly - the house felt warm and inviting, my favourite was enjoying the sea views from the comfort of the house while sipping my morning coffee. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into making this place feel like a home. We’ve travelled with two young kids and everything we needed was already there. The welcome treats were a big bonus! We’ve enjoyed a bottle of Prosecco with our friends on arrival. I hope we can return soon.

Wir waren 3 Nächte in diesem schönen, sauberen und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Haus. Romain hat uns herzlich empfangen und viele Empfehlungen für Restaurants und die Umgebung gemacht. Im Haus warteten noch einige normanische Spezialtäten auf uns. Er hat sich zwischendurch erkundigt ob alles ok ist. Das Haus liegt privat und sehr ruhig auf dem riesigen Grundstück. Wir werden bestimmt noch mal wieder kommen und können die Unterkunft zu 100 Prozent empfehlen.

Exactly as described a perfect slice of reclusive heaven! Wish the weather was slightly better but hey that's the UK. Amazing, the small personal touches such as the scones were lovely! The dogs loved being in the garden next to the sea- I have never seen so many zoomies! The WiFi really is intermittent but why would you need it, when your view and surroundings are so wonderful!

We are home after a Mon- Fri half term break at Admiral’s Watch, and we have had a wonderful time. Before we arrived we had clear directions from Nicky along with a really helpful list of recommendations for places to go with the kids. Getting to the property was easy and it was great to have a dedicated parking spot. The area is peaceful and completely beautiful. The small precinct of shops/ restaurants within the terrace was useful and didn’t intrude on our stay at all. The property itself is beautiful and just like the photos- the sea is right in front of the apartment making the views amazing. Nicky has styled the property beautifully and there was plenty of space for us as a family of four plus our dog. Activity wise I would recommend a trip to nearby Hurst Castle, and a meal at the Cliff House restaurant which was a short stroll away. Totally recommended, we had a great stay. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille. La maison est reposante, calme, apaisante. Une vue magnifique 🤩 Très bien équipé, nous n’avons manqué de rien, la maison respire la propreté. Elle ne manque pas de jeux pour enfant 👍 Une literie au top. Nous avons également profité de la location de vélo à assistance électrique, excellente qualité. Une location de luxe 🫶

Nous avons passé une très bonne nuit dans cette charmante maison de village proche de la mer. Tout était fidèle à la description et nous avons même pu croiser Xavier à la piscine qui se situe à proximité (couverte et chauffée).

I booked this as a surprise birthday get away for my wife and our two young children and it was the most perfect place I could have ever imagined. The view from the balcony is incredible, especially the sun rise (thanks to my youngest we never missed) is something worth waking up for. The entire house was spotless and the bed was so comfortable! Mel gave very detailed instructions on how to find the home, as well as some fantastic local recommendations. Excellent communication right up to the booking and was very helpful with extras for the kids! The beach is only a short downhill walk away, even quicker if you jump in the pushchair with the kids. The beach is quite small but was perfect for us. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a Cornish getaway and would definitely book again!

We loved staying in the boathouse. Ideal for a family with children. Wonderful location looking over the creek . We didn’t hear the ferry which is 5 minutes away. We liked the sound of children playing on the other side of the creek. The pool area was recently upgraded. The property is well equipped and comfortable. Catherine was an excellent host who looked after every detail professionally.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely location, the place was very clean & specious with everything all ready for us when we arrived. Me and my friends really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this to anyone. Thank you x

Un appartement qui permet une déconnexion complète. On s’est senti tellement reposé.. Se lever avec la vue mer c’est juste incroyable. On ne s’en lasse pas et on a élu l’appartement comme notre résidence secondaire de Cabourg! On a hâte d’y revenir! Merci à Karine pour sa souplesse, et l’accueil.

The location is perfect. Train and busstation are in walking distance. The apartment and views are absolutely beautiful, you definitely pay for this though, personally I found it quite a bit pricey but it was worth it.

Endroit idéal, paisible, avec magnifique vue sur le fort d'Ambleteuse et sur les dunes de la Slack. Hôte très accueillant, logement très fonctionnel, propre, belle terrasse et spa avec vue sur mer. Tout y est pour passer un moment agréable. Belle balade au départ du logement et des restaurants accessibles à pieds.

We had a wonderful stay at Talland Cliff side beach house, we stayed for two nights with our two children and Labrador, the property was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed plus a few extra touches that added to our enjoyment, the family games and the hammock were a favourite for the children and sauna was an added luxury for us :) but without a doubt sitting on the decking and watching the sea was the most relaxing and wonderful thing for us to do! The beach is 5 minutes walk down the cliff side not too difficult but the climb back up may take a little longer but absolutely worth it for the trip down to the beach, there are a couple of coastal paths within a couple of miles of the property and a couple of small eateries close by for lunch with a view. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We absolutely loved Joanna's place and had a great weekend. It was extremely comfortable and in the perfect position to enjoy the beach and everything around us. Our dogs were also very happy and the garden was safe and secure for them with a bit of grass. The house is well laid out. The bedroom was comfortable and the linen first class. Joanna was helpful and welcoming and available at all times. Highly recommended!

A delightful beach cabin experience. I booked this beautiful home for a recent girls trip. Sofia allowed us to get access early as several of us had come on overnight flights. The home is easily locatable and perfectly situated. We spent four nights, enjoying long dinners at the dining room table, sitting on the back deck, enjoying the stunning view and sleeping peacefully in the lovely bedroom. Sofia was responsive throughout our visit, and even let us check out a little bit later than planned so we could further enjoy the beach. note that this is a very low tide beach. If you’re hoping to swim, you will likely need to go to another part of the beach. The water is ankle deep goes out at that level for a very long way. The kitchen is very well appointed, the beds are super comfortable. I am a stickler for having decent hot water for a nice bath, and that was not a problem at all. Thank you so much to Sofia and her partner. We look forward ved every minute.

The location was perfect- you can see the sea perfectly and the place was super modern and once inside it has a feeling of luxury! Parking a little tricky, but it was free once we found somewhere and the front door wasn’t the easiest to get into but 2 super minor points as this really was such a perfect place to stay? The location was ideal for us! The bed was really comfy, beautiful kitchen and open plan living and the bathroom was WOW! Thanks for such a lovely stay!

Voor de 2de keer hier verbleven en het blijft een absoluut geweldig huis. Geweldig uitzicht waar je rustig de getijden van de zee kan zien komen en gaan in absolute rust. Ongeacht het weer is dit een fantastisch huis, bij mooi weer lekker op het terras en bij wat regen een blok hout in de kachel en lekker in de woonkamer verblijven.
