We had an absolutely amazing weekend staying at The Dairy! The farm is set in a beautifully tranquil location a few steps from a trail leading up to Black Down. Louise was a great host, very friendly and responsive, and makes a great homemade granola! We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Aan het einde van een weggetje kom je bij een kleine pleintje met bomen waar het huis met het gastenhuisje ligt. Als gast heb je een groot deel van de prachtige tuin met terrasje tot je beschikking. Echt een plek om tot rust komen maar er is ook van alles te zien in de omgeving. Daarvoor liggen er tips in het huisje. We zijn er twee nachten geweest en hebben ervan genoten. Nathalie is sprankelende, behulpzame gastvrouw .

Not my first stay here, which says it all. Penny is helpful and friendly. The charming garden room is comfortable and well-equipped. Firle is utterly charming.

A lovely place to stay. Beautiful surroundings, friendly host and absolutely loved the addition of the ever friendly dog Seven, who we slightly fell in love with and greeted us every morning. Great location and the place had everything we needed for our stay. 2 lovely pubs in walking distance. We will def be returning to explore more the area. Breakfast was also fab and delivered to us on a tray.

Super endroit avec un super accueil. Attention, l’appartement est à l’étage avec une barrière de protection pour les petits qui marchent mais qui peut facilement être ouverte par un petit. Le balcon n’est pas très sécurisé pour des petits qui marchent mais le reste est superbe surtout CETTE VUE SUR LA SEINE 😍

Me and my partner had a wonderful mid-week retreat at Tracy’s Annex! Welcomed with a bottle of Prosecco, the place was just lovely. We had access to the hot tub and the heated pool which was just amazing! It felt totally private, we were never disturbed but always just a message away if we needed anything- Tracy has some fab recommendations and knows the area so well. The walks around are beautiful and the wildlife we saw was brilliant! There’s so much I could say but my real highlight was Tracy’s 2 golden labs, they’ll come and say hello when out in the garden and they are such love bugs! Totally made my day as a dog lover! Would stay again and would recommend to others. X

I stayed here the night before my wedding with my bridesmaids and it was fantastic! The space was lovely and light and the bedroom was the perfect peaceful place to sleep before the big day. Simon was incredibly accommodating with all of our requests and always on hand for any questions - couldn’t recommend more! Thank you so much again

An incredible stay. Whilst not walkable to towns everything is incredibly close to drive to and the surrounding towns are stunning with lots of beautiful places to explore.

The space was absolutely beautiful — I have to say, it exceeded our expectations. We loved that it looked exactly like the pictures. He even provided a guidebook with tips on getting around, which was incredibly helpful. He was also very friendly and welcoming.

The Cabin was in a fanatic location to explore the new forest and the communication from Tom and Lucy prior to arrival was excellent. On arrival the space was spotlessly clean and all amenities required were to a high standard. The homemade bread and beer in the fridge was a lovely touch. On arrival there was a personal note from Tom and Lucy with local recommendations and the local pubs delivered fantastic food. Communication throughout the stay and on checkout was excellent and gave us confidence on how to leave and check out. The brewery is clearly a nice place to have on your doorstep for a quiet beer when required. Overall a great stay and we will be retuning at some point.

Linda & Mike's Airbnb is a beautifully designed, self-contained building, hidden away at the end of their garden. The property is private, screened off with plants, and accessed via it's own driveway. Outside, there is lots of seating to enjoy views over the South Downs and the surrounding nature. We enjoyed watching a variety of wildlife pass by, including deer, partridges, pheasants, nuthatches, Robins. The jacuzzi is impressive in size and function, and easy to use. Inside is attractive & well equipped. There is a spacious kitchen/living room, showerroom, and compact bedroom. We stayed for a week-long workcation and found it very comfortable. Linda & Mike were great hosts - met us on arrival to show us how to use the jacuzzi - but otherwise left us be. Linda was always responsive to messages. They were very generous with the treats on arrival too! We wished we'd stayed longer! We'd recommend it to any couple looking for a cosy retreat from which to explore the South Downs.

Alaister was an excellent host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay which was relaxing. Our host was ver accommodating with check in and out times and even provided us with an air con unit for the cabin which was a very nice touch and much appreciated. Facilities were excellent and very private. Would recommend. Thank you.

This lovely Coach House exceeded all our expectations and was exactly what we needed after a day of travel mishaps. Sarah was great to communicate with and gave us a very generous list of recommendations. The Coach House is beautiful and in a peaceful setting. The amenities and kitchen goodies were a lovely surprise. For my friend and I the bathrobes were the most unexpected highlight :D Highly recommend this lovely place! Thank you for the great stay :)

Claire was a lovely host. She was kind and helpful and responsive to contacts made. The Nest is a really peaceful location surrounded by greenery and birdsong. Good kitchen and bathroom and lovely outside space. East Hoathly has a great little pub - very friendly landlord/lady and a wee coffee shop with excellent coffee!

We had such a memorable experience staying here — just myself and my three boys aged 7, 12, and 13. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel completely at home. Marley was incredibly friendly with a great sense of humour that had us all laughing and relaxed. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and ideal for a family. You can tell a lot of thought and care goes into making sure guests feel welcome. The boys didn’t even miss their devices — they were too busy learning and soaking up the experience. Some of our highlights were watching the red kites feed, spotting deer, and seeing badgers feeding — all made even more special by Marley and Fred, who patiently and enthusiastically educated us along the way. The boys gained so much from it, and it was a joy to see them so engaged and curious. We loved it so much we even tried to stay an extra night! Truly a warm, welcoming, and unforgettable place to stay with kids — we’ll treasure the memories

The Golly Gosh was a great find. We had the best time. Eamon and Bernadette were great hosts, friendly but kept in the background. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and the beds the most comfortable we’ve slept in! The accommodation was fantastic would definitely recommend and would 100% stay there again.

Great accommodation, all on one level, in a friendly village. Avril & Paul left us to ourselves but readily engaged when approached. Beautiful setting with lovely garden, view of the Southern Downs easy, short walk to village store to buy bread, cereal, milk and banana for breakfast.

We booked The Stables for a couple of nights, including for it to be used as the bridal getting ready space on the morning of our recent wedding, as it is only 10 mins from Priston Mill. It was absolutely perfect and Nancy went above and beyond to help make it work for us including making space on the drive of the main house to allow wedding suppliers to park. The space was light and bright and surrounded by a gorgeous garden and it felt really private and peaceful. It was very well equipped with everything you’d need and actually seemed a larger space in person than in the pictures! Special thanks go to Nancy for making it extra special for our wedding and including some lovely bubbly in the fridge which was a really thoughtful touch.

This was our second stay at Lynne and Andy and Just like last time we really enjoyed it! The annexe and their beautiful garden is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The kids loved the fish and were over the moon when Andy even set up a kiddy pool for them! Lynne and Andy are lovely hosts who have great recommendations (e.g. for a Chinese takeout on our first night when we were arriving later than expected, or for nearby farms to explore with the kids) and are always easy to get in touch with without being intrusive at all. We could even pick some lettuce from their kitchen garden for dinner! We'd love to stay at their place again and can definitely recommend staying there!

We’d spent the day in Rye walking down to the harbour then arrived in this most beautiful Oast house with a fabulous garden - just like the photos. Had a very relaxed, peaceful evening and comfortable night then walked by an easy footpath to Bodiam castle in the morning. Every comfort had been provided with lovely personal touches. Practically perfect in every way A delightful stay - The Cabin is brilliantly designed - great care has obviously gone into making it a comfortable place with every amenity that one would need It’s less than a minute to the beach and the hosts - Mika and Sarah are very responsive and communicative, ideal hosts Loved the place and we’ll definitely be back (ps - title of the review is accurate but also a deliberate reference to Mary Poppins, the film which Sarah referred to in our first conversation as we arrived 😁)

The place looked great in the photos and was even nicer when we got there. The Pavilion is set in Chris’ amazing garden and is very private and tranquil. On arrival there was fresh bread and pastries, butter, jam and a selection of milks. Everything was perfect and we will absolutely stay again next time that we fly from Gatwick.
