Grill and sunbathing area on the lawn is available. Horses and dogs can be brought along. Forest gorges, deep valleys, daffodil meadows, the Eifel National Park and the magnificent Hohes Venn high moor, as well as the famous Rursee area are all located nearby; a paradise for hikers.

Tauche ein in die Blütezeit der Monschauer Tuchmacherindustrie. Die Familie Scheibler hat hier neben dem Wahrzeichen der Stadt, dem Roten Haus, 1785 eine weitere großzügige Villa erbaut. Die alten Möbel und die Ahnen an den Wänden zeugen vom Prunk der vergangenen Zeit. Eine gut ausgestattete moderne Küche mit Geschirrspüler ist ebenso vorhanden wie gemütliche Boxspringbetten für die Nacht und Wlan und Sat-TV mit Netflix-Abo. Die Bel-Etage befindet sich im Erdgeschoss des Hauses.
