The Blue Door House

JoleneRating, 5 stars5 days ago
What a wonderful break from the loud, crowded, busy cities. A picturesque view from every window. The bed was the most comfortable one of our whole trip. We loved the comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. Monica went above and beyond to make us feel at home. I wish we could have stayed longer, but there is always next time. Already looking at my calendar for a longer stay in 2026.

Amazing, can’t wait to come back. We always stay at the Val di Luce Resort but for more than double the cost so we will be staying here from now on. Thanks so much!

The house in the park

GrazianoRating, 5 stars10 months ago
A pleasant and relaxing vacation. The apartment, clean and very well-stocked, is located in a residence nestled in the woods . The host Liana is a very kind person and has provided us with dozens of directions about the excursions and village events. There are many routes for pleasant walks in the area and our golden retriever also had fun to roam the fields adjacent to the residence. A vacation to repeat that I recommend to everyone .

Parco dei Daini - apartment " il Bosco"

RitaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Apartment in condominium in an residential area very quiet and surrounded by greenery. I stayed in the central 2 weeks of August. It's small but very nice and comfortable and I was fine with it. I slept very well for both the cool and the mattresses ...even a great sofa bed, my back thanks. I found everything I needed and cleaned products and things like salt oil, etc... even if I had brought everything. The owner Andrea was very present and made sure that I arrived and if you were well in the apartment or if you needed anything. There was a problem with the TV two days before August but Andrea promptly worked to let me have a new TV but he is in Livorno. I really appreciated it, as well as the availability of the condominiums. It is recommended the car to be able to shop in nearby countries such as Abetone Dogana etc. I hope to come back soon and recharge myself with positive energy.... Thank you very much Andrea. See you soon

Casa dei Canti. Villa with pool and mountain views

DeborahRating, 5 stars21 months ago
What a stunning location with magnificent views of the Apennine and Apuan mountains. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and every need had been thought of with a superbly equipped kitchen even down to a choice of milk frothers for your coffee and plenty of towels!! Swimming in the pool overlooking the wonderful view was a great way to simply relax, as was sitting on an evening watching storms rage in the distance listening to the Red Deer Stags’ rutting calls! The hosts Jacqui and Nick were very helpful and were there when needed but not when you didn’t! Lots of places to explore from here, the nearby town of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana is worth a visit to go to Osteria Vecchio Mulino where local foods are served - we were fed like kings ( No menu but just supplied with plates of delicious delights!) FIorence (by train), Pisa and Luca, Forte dei Marmi (the Italian go to resort by the sea) all worth a visit! Had a superb stay here and would highly recommend!!

La Radice

DianeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We were able to enjoy this wonderful place for two weeks. During our first ride up, we were already enchanted by the beauty of the surroundings. Lara's house is on an open plateau surrounded by trees. It is a beautiful house, equipped with every comfort. It is clean and very well maintained. The view from the garden and your balcony is directed at Tassilico. A village you can walk to. Verni is a very charming village that you can walk to from the house. And you can have a delicious homemade dinner and/or lunch at Lara's, just let her know. Your table is set in a nice square and you enjoy, excellent! Feels like home. Lara is a very friendly woman and is always there for you. Has very nice tips to discover in the area. And there are several hiking routes to discover from the house. Via komoot we have discovered routes, in several lengths. We absolutely recommend Lara's house, if we could give a 6!!
