Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Fishhook

Shawn and Victoria are some of the most gracious hosts we have encountered yet and we stay in a lot of these short term rentals. The space looks brand new, is well kept and super clean. It is rare that the actual living space looked better than the photos. I was there to help take care of my 1 yo granddaughter while my DIL delivered grand baby #2. They asked if the noise from any of the construction work was too loud as they didn’t want to disturb her if she was napping. (Their property looks new and they are finishing the final touches it seems). The location is 10 minutes to Palmer or the main area of Wasilla, so easy access to anything you need. Highly recommend their space if you are looking for a modern but comfortable home near Wasilla.

We loved the house and property. Great host communication and easy check-in and check-out. Perfect sized bedrooms for our 4 couples. Everything was comfortable and spacious. Highly recommend.

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The home was spacious, well-maintained, and had everything I needed. The kitchen was fully loaded with appliances, cookware, and utensils, making it perfect for preparing meals. The bathroom was also top-notch, with a clean and well-stocked toilet, complete with plush towels and toiletries. The location was ideal quiet, and the host was friendly and responsive. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay

The home is absolutely amazing. Our only issue is this was our 1st AirBnB stay and it set the standard extremely high and probably impossible for any property after this to meet. We arrived after 18+ hours traveling with 3 kids. We were exhausted and hungry. The counter was filled with snacks, fridge/cabinet filled with all condiment/cooking staples. We had waffle mix, butter and syrup for breakfast, plenty of water to drink. The place is quiet, private and spacious. It was the perfect place to start to our vacation for 3 nights!

Enjoyed our stay at this Alaskan retreat. It was a perfect pit stop for our family to recharge before heading back home after a cruise. The views were amazing and accommodations were super comfortable and cozy. Lots of space and amenities. Felt private and secluded but also close to lots of shopping and dining.

I loved the cabin! Although a little snag happened and the main place was double booked, we got put in a cabin that I think I enjoyed more! Billie Jo is super helpful and offered great suggestions for local things to do. The pup Marcus was a wonderful joy visiting us during our fire and while sitting on the porch. We had everything we needed and an awesome view to end our evening. I would recommend any of Billie Jo’s cabins to someone looking to be close to town but also have a relaxing getaway.

The photos don't do this place justice, it was beautifully finished and provided the warmth and coziness for your home away from home. The entire home and property are my favorite things. Neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. And all the necessary amenities you may need are provided with some additional items you didn't think you needed. Thank you again Ben for the hospitality and recommend this home to anyone visiting Alaska and will be in the Wasilla area.

Fantastic place to stay! As long as you can climb the stairs, it’s a perfect and relaxing place to stay. It’s the best site I’ve stayed in and hope to come back. Access to the lake, thoughtful touches, and warm and friendly host makes this location stand out!

Such a cute home with awesome hosts!

this is a really cute spot with everything that you might need. we were doing a lot of traveling across the state so it wasn't really a problem to be out and kind of isolated. it was nice and cozy. the owner is really pleasant and helpful and proactive in communicating. his family lives upstairs which was not a problem for us, but is something worth repeating for a review. they were all really nice when we had interactions and have adorable dogs. overall, there's not a lot of bad things to be said about the place it was enjoyable

Our stay was wonderful! This place has so much room. We had 2 grandchildren (age 5 & 10) with us and they loved it also. Only issue we had was a complaint from people whom lived below. We respected the quiet hours from 10-10 everyday. We did not know 1 of them worked 2nd shift, and got woke up by the kids couple mornings? They were playing tag out on deck one time. We told them we were sorry and would try to respect their wishes. From then on we worried about being quiet. This place is very close to grocery stores, gas, Walmart, Fred Meyer’s, and restaurants. Wonderful place to stay and very convenient. There is a park 2 lots down which we went to and kids played and fed ducks. There is also a Church (Creekside Church) about 5 miles away, very nice Church and made us feel welcomed. The kids loved the Children’s Church also. This place had everything we needed. The view was spectacular.

Absolutely beautiful views! Wonderful cabin! It was exactly what we wanted. The listing is explicit about amenities and is exactly as described and pictured. No TV, no Wifi and not much signal. A beautiful escape from it all! Spacious kitchen with everything needed.

Apartment was exactly as the pictures portrayed. Brandy and her husband were friendly and answered any questions we had. The parking was right in front of the door which was great for my wife who walks with a cane. It was also nice being able to park under a carport which came in handy when it was raining the day we were loading our truck to leave.

Grace was an amazing host and communication was the best. I went to her for many different suggestions on local activities and she always was able to provide great recommendation! The Airbnb was very clean and she has provided everything you might need to enjoy your stay.

My husband and I loved this beautiful BNB! So much to do and absolutely enjoyed our time there. Definitely will be coming back again 😊

If you're looking for a place close to Anchorage, I wouldn't recommend any other place than Velia's. She is an awesome host, and so is her place.

This was my second time staying at Luke’s Airbnb, and it was just as wonderful and perfectly stocked as I remembered it. Luke is always quick to respond and easy to communicate with. I loved waking up to the beautiful mountain view’s, and ending the night with the fire pit in the back was just the cherry on top. I’d definitely stay here again on my next trip to Wasilla.

Great place to stay, peaceful, always clean and tidy. AI especially enjoy having use of a garage. Brad iss a great host, lways very responsive.
