Gioviano is a small quiet medieval village 25 kms from the walled city of Lucca in the Garfagnana. The house is peacful and in the heart of this beautiful Tuscan village, if you want to explore the region this is a perfect retreat for a weekend or longer. We are 50 minutes from Pisa airport on the SS12 route. The location is perfect for summer or winter. In summer you can reach the sea, in winter ski in the hills. All year round you can explore the region by foot, bicycle, motorcycle or car.

Riva Tower, historic home

The fortress is spread over 4 levels. The ground floor consists of kitchen, fireplace and small service bathroom. The dining room is on the first floor. On the second floor there is a double bedroom. On the third floor, a bedroom with a single and a half bed and bathroom with shower and washing machine. A hydro-pellet heating for strict winter months The tower offers an enchanting view of the old town of Fiumalbo and the surrounding mountains. Outside the house there is a large garden.

WE LOOK AT requests AFTER 2 P.M. Our BAITA DEI SOGNI is located in the Municipality of Fiumalbo, Frignano Park at an altitude of 1390 meters, under Monte Cimone. From here, there are hiking trails by bike and on foot, in summer and winter. On-site, e-bike and snowshoe rental is available.
