The Garden Folly Guest House

Our architect said, “this is NOT a garage, it’s a Garden Folly!” Our Guest House has a bird’s eye view of the rose covered pecan tree and a vista of the marsh and the Wappoo Creek. When we rebuilt our 1930's garage we saved all the beaded siding and pine floor. My husband enjoyed incorporating many design elements and creative ideas. It was quickly becoming the Taj Garage. We decided it was just the kind of property we enjoy when we travel, so, Voila! we decided to share it with you!

Close to many of the most popular wedding venues, plantations, and all the secret places the LowCountry has to offer.

You may hear the footsteps of our kids upstairs but it's otherwise set apart and private. Your suite is fully furnished and has beautiful views out to the marsh. It's a one-block, two-minute walk to the beach, and one-mile beach walk or bike ride to Center Street. Business license: LIC046666

The James Island Suite is a beautiful converted garage apartment located in iconic Charleston, SC. This suite is equipped with a walk in closet, bathroom, kitchenette, queen bed and spacious a living area. Conveniently located 15 min from Folly beach and 15 min from downtown Charleston. We are pet friendly with a small $50 pet fee (total for stay, not per night).

Our guest studio is located at our home minutes to Folly Beach and Downtown Charleston. The studio is one room and features a queen bed, dining area with an apartment size refrigerator, toaster oven and microwave. There is a bathroom with a small stand up shower. There is a private entrance, covered porch and fenced yard area along with off-street parking.
