House holiday rentals in Fort Wayne

Family of 4 went for a chill and relaxing vacation. Did some swimming and played volleyball, badminton and basketball. Located very close to the zoo and food places! We checked out a couple of ice cream shops in the area. And did a day at the zoo. Overall had a nice time, wish the weather was better to be outside more. Had everything we needed at the house!

Upon check in we were immediately greeted with a warm welcome and smiles. The cottage was clean and a perfect spot for our family of four. During the stay the host checked in to make sure we were comfortable and that we were aware of all the amenities available to us. The property is beautiful and peaceful with gardens to check out and a pool to swim in. Mark and Kathy are sensational hosts and deserve all the stars!

We truly enjoyed our stay; the house was roomy enough to accommodate our family, different age groups. The location was great too, close to shopping center, grocery stores and restaurants. The house was equipped with basically everything a family would need for comfort. The back yard and pool, super awesome! Game room, super awesome! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider coming back and will refer other family members visiting our family in Fort Wayne a great place to stay. Houston and Jeremy, awesome hosts.

A great Airbnb in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The entire place is very spacious and great for a large group. We had 10 in our group and there was definitely enough space for all of us. It’s in a wonderful location very close to everything we needed. The pool and hot tub were such a blessing! They made family time so much fun and such an added bonus. Our family was in town for my son’s wedding. What a treat to come back after busy days to swim and make more memories. We would definitely stay here again if come back to Fort Wayne.

I had the privilege of being the first guest at this beautifully prepared location. The hosts' detailed instructions made check-in and check-out seamless. The thoughtful touch of labeling light switches showcased their attention to detail. The space itself, which accurately reflected the photos provided, was spotless and inviting. I found myself comfortable enough to walk around barefoot - a testament to the clean, relaxing environment. The hosts generously provided some amenities, in case forgotten (e.g., toothbrush) along with bottled water, and a well-equipped coffee station. The living room, complete with cozy couches and a large (~50-60 in.) smart TV for streaming, was a perfect retreat. The abundance of windows with blinds ensured a perfect balance of light and privacy. The quiet, walkable neighborhood and proximity to shops and restaurants made the location ideal. I had a wonderful stay and would eagerly return. Highly recommended for a peaceful and convenient getaway.

We loved our stay here it was a very beautiful home. The pool was nice and clean loved that it was a heated. Dijana was a great host she replied back instantly when I messaged her very friendly and let us check in early when she didn’t have too! I would definitely stay here again when I’m in the area. Eric was very friendly and quick to respond! The heated pool and hot tub were fantastic! We were able to swim late into the night/early morning even with the colder then expected weather. We would definitely stay here again! The hot tub is also a little difficult to get in and out of if you have any mobility issues, due to how low it is, but we had no problem with this.

House had everything I needed for a long term stay, it was very clean and updated inside and quiet outside. Neighbors on both sides were friendly and always said hello.

Really appreciated the layout of the house for our family & the quietness of the neighborhood! Made us feel at home! The hosts were great! We arrived earlier than expected and thankfully the house was ready for us! We couldn’t find the remote for tv in the main bedroom and the host brought one to us within 15 minutes! Very thoughtful! We had a college friend reunion here with a total of seven friends. This house was perfect for our needs and was so beautiful inside and out! It was clean and within walking distance of several fun shops and restaurants. We highly recommend!

Traveled with my daughter, daughter in law and five little boys under nine. They loved the huge yard and playing upstairs was wonderful. The house is very nice and the hosts were wonderful. They were even worried about a storm that might hit and sent us candles in case power went out. The yards are so beautiful and so very well taken care of. We loved their home and are hoping to make this trip again next spring. Thank you for your hospitality!

We had a lovely stay at this charming Airbnb nestled in historic downtown. The home, over 100 years old, beautifully blends its original character with thoughtful modern updates throughout. It was both cozy and functional—perfect for our needs. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with, which made everything smooth from start to finish. Just down the street, don’t miss Klems Kafe—a classic greasy spoon with great food and local flavor. Highly recommend both the home and the experience!

Jody's home was everything I had hoped it would be.... clean, comfortable, spacious, well kept, nicely decorated and well stocked with everything we needed for a wonderful stay. There were no issues whatsoever. In fact, we never had to contact the host at all during our time in her home. She left clear enough instructions so that we just unpacked and relaxed. We were in town for a wedding. This home was the perfect place for us all to visit together while at the same time having enough private space as well. The back yard was really nice and private.

I loved the place it was like as if I was home my home away from home my daughter loved the bunk bed set and board games very quiet and peaceful nice location didn’t have any problems would definitely recommend and book again loved the whole place shower head was awesome ❤️❤️

Overall, the place was worth what we paid for. The outdoor space was amazing! Great front porch with rocking chairs and huge back deck with a table and hammock. Carol was very communicative, checking in along the way. The location was great, close to a great park and close to downtown. My only complaint is attention to details - bathroom corners were dirty and dusty., the refrigerator was dirty upon arrival, lots of chipped paint and dents to walls. The downstairs bathroom mirror/medicine cabinet does not stay closed. The downstairs full bathroom is a barn door that does not completely close so not much privacy. We were not dissatisfied at all, just want to point out some features that could be approved upon.

Matthew was very responsive, it was 8 of us staying there with plenty of space. The pictures don’t do this place justice, we’re back and forth to Fort Wayne often and will absolutely book this place again.

I highly recommend. Planning on using again next year. very comfortable like home.

great place less than 5 minutes from down town; very affordable and nice for a quick stay. It is an older home so just keep that in mind when booking.

Our 2nd stay at this lovely and charming house. We love the house and the location for when we are staying in fort Wayne. House is spacious and has everything you need, has charming character, and is perfectly located opposite the lake park for easy access or just good porch viewing with a coffee. We’ll be back again!

We live 7 minutes from Cheryl’s house but needed a rental to stay in while our hardwood floors were being redone. We go to Roanoke all the time for dinner at The Patio and ice cream at Jebi’s. They are two of our favorite spots in the summer! Roanoke also has several fantastic boutiques for shopping. It’s a wonderful town to visit. If you’re ever in town for sports, a concert at the coliseum, or whatever I would definitely recommend this over a hotel. It’s an easy drive and well worth having all the comforts of home. As far as the rental goes it was probably the cleanest and most well thought out VRBO we have stayed in. Our family of 6 travels a lot and I wood say this was one of the best. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, incredibly clean, spacious, great outdoor area, walking distance to town, comfortable beds, and the home decor is adorable. I really can’t say enough about how great this house is. If you’re staying in the Ft.Wayne area don’t hesitate to book!
