Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Forte dei Marmi

The backyard with the large lawn area and swimming pool really was wonderful for our two grandchildren (boys 3 and 7). Very quiet neighborhood. The property is set back significantly from the big road Viale G Puccini, so you hear no traffic noise. It is about a 12-15 minute walk to get inside the City Walls. The walk area is a shared bike/pedestrian path so we felt comfortable walking with our 3 year old. But watch out for the bicycles! Only one big street crossing with a signal and the main traffic intersection close to the city walls is serviced by a very nice pedestrian underpass. But the City of Lucca and the City Wall is the big attraction. If we were only adults inside the City Walls would be our choice, but this is a great overall compromise if traveling with small children. Easy enough to get to town but with a countryside feel to the location. And Giancarlo and staff were very helpful when we locked ourselves out of the house in the backyard!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Absolutely Perfect Tuscan Escape Just Outside Lucca's Walls! Our stay at this duplex was wonderful, earning every single one of its five stars! From the moment we booked, communication with the host was prompt, friendly, and incredibly helpful, making our arrival completely stress-free. The location is truly unbeatable. Being just a 9-minute drive outside the historic walls of Lucca offered the perfect blend of tranquility and accessibility. We enjoyed peaceful evenings in a gorgeous back yard, yet could easily pop into Lucca within minutes to explore its stunning architecture, vibrant piazzas, and fantastic restaurants. The short drive meant we avoided the bustle of staying right in the center, and parking was a breeze with a free parking lot just a short walk from the walls. The duplex itself is a gem. It’s beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, and felt immediately like a home away from home. Would 100% rebook at this location! 🩷

Highly recommend this gorgeous house as somewhere to stay in Lucca. Elisa has been the best airbnb host we’ve ever experienced, so helpful and supportive. We traveled with our 18 month old toddler, the house & gardens were so spacious which was ideal. Plus our child loved the chickens at the end of the garden! The location was perfect in our opinion. A very short easy drive into Lucca, and close to free town parking which was a very short walk into Lucca centre. We loved the comfortable large beds and ensuits in every room. The factory opposite didn’t cause any disturbance, a very slight humming sound during the week but it is really nothing to worry about. We can’t wait to return! 10/10

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 An absolute dream in Tuscany! Our stay in this beautiful holiday home in Pieve di Compito was simply unforgettable. The house is lovingly furnished, very clean and offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday – from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy bedrooms and a wonderful garden with a fantastic view of the Tuscan landscape. The location is perfect - quiet and idyllic, yet ideal for excursions to Lucca, Pisa or the coast. We particularly liked the proximity to nature: the chirping of the birds in the morning, a glass of wine in the evening with a view of the hills - pure relaxation! Our hosts were incredibly friendly, helpful and available at all times. They gave us great recommendations for restaurants, markets and attractions and made sure that we felt completely comfortable. We will definitely come back - this house is a little paradise!

Perfectly renovated farmhouse in a great location for hiking/biking. Ideal for weekend stays but also for longer periods. Total availability and kindness of hosts. Everything is perfect!

Awesome place to stay if you are looking for privacy and nature going hand in hand in the beautiful chalet surrounded by peaceful calmness and a relaxing atmosphere. Maria who is a very friendly Host was always helpful and responded very quickly if we had questions and we are thankful for whole service (with the car :) We recommend the chalet a 10/10 and would revisit it anytime again !

Wonderful retreat in the Tuscan mountains. The view into the valley is magnificent and invites you to dream. Enjoy the stars in the Jacuzzi and the lights in the valley, wonderful. Very quiet and secluded, far from the hustle and bustle of the tourist resorts. Those who like it quiet will find it there. The property itself is rustic and beautiful, everything you really need is available. For my two daughters and me it was a nice first stop on our Giro d'Italia, we would come back :-)

Nice and nice house high on the mountain. Private and large. Quick communication if needed. We got a guided tour up the way to the house, it was steeper than expected. Although it was fine, that's something to consider. A nice surprise was that each room more or less had its own bathroom. Larger than what the pictures show and more rooms than in the pictures. Very cozy and warm when the sun is out. A previous review mentioned mold/smell in one of the rooms that made us nervous, but we didn't have any problems. It can get trapped in the lower rooms, but we opened windows during the day and everything was perfect. We were very happy and had a great stay!

The accommodation was very well equipped (kitchen, bathroom, towels, detergent - everything) clean and perfect from the location to come down. The communication was excellent and the check-in very friendly. We also received friendly and quick answers to our questions. The WLAN reception was good but less suitable for 4 or more people who want to work at the same time. We would come back. Thank you for the hospitality 🙏

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful old house. The property has much character, original details, and a peaceful, timeless atmosphere. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. What really made it special was the view — absolutely breathtaking. Whether we were enjoying coffee on the terrace or winding down in the evening, the scenery was a highlight. The host was responsive and friendly, and check-in was smooth and easy. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a quiet retreat with charm and great views. Would definitely come back!

We visited for a multi-generational family holiday - grandparents, kids and parents. The setting is wonderful, in the mountains of Fosciandora - an easy 1.20 hr drive from Pisa airport. We enjoyed having the option of the jacuzzi as well as the fresh water pool. And had local chefs cook for us several evenings. The local Tigalle meal was a special highlight on our first day - compliments to Chef Nenella. It’s a stunning place and we’d love to come back. Local trips we did were to Lucca (about an hour), Castelnuovo di Garfagnana and Barga. Pizza Indie was a great recommendation from Leo. Our hosts were so responsive and wonderful to speak to. They couldn’t have been more attentive. I can def imagine we’ll be back in years to come. Highly recommend the his wonderful place to anyone who truly wants to get away and switch off. The mountain air and beauty is good for the soul.

We had a fantastic stay at the Villino - it was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and really well equipped. There is lots of outdoor spaces with the small courtyard being perfect for soaking up the sun whilst the terrace provided some lovely shade when it got too warm. It really is as nice as it looks in the pictures! The Villino is situated off a quiet street, but is an easy 2km / 20 minute walk to the walls of Lucca which as great for us - not too far away that we couldn't walk into town for sightseeing or evening meals but an easy place to drive to without having to deal with the beautiful but narrow maze of streets within the walls. Local shops and a Lidl supermarket are nearby too. Enrico was a really excellent host, arranging check-in at a time that suited us and providing lots of friendly advice and recommendations for places to eat / visit. Thank you Enrico! Overall a wonderful place to stay and would highly recommend

We spent 3 fantastic days in Daniele's villa, immersed in the tranquility of the Tuscan countryside. We were 9 friends and the house was perfect for our stay: spacious, clean and equipped with all comforts. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi were the stars of our relaxing days, while the indoor sauna added a special touch to the evenings. The common areas are spacious and well organized, and the outdoor porch is ideal for a barbecue. Daniele was an impeccable host: always available and attentive, he made us feel welcome right away. We recommend this stay without hesitation, perfect for those seeking peace, comfort and a beautiful place to share moments with friends.

Sabrina and Teresa greeted us at the gate of the villa when we arrived. Showed us around and were very responsive to us with any request during our stay. We had a relaxing and wonderful time. Very comfortable house suitable for a large group like ours with children, well equipped and clean. Ample space in the living area and nice outdoor space. The village, with all the services, is very close, we moved very little and we enjoyed the house that, despite being large, it warms very well. On the first day, with the enthusiasm for the snow, we were locked out of the house with the keys inside.....panic! The host, although not close, activated quickly and in a short time they came to open us up . Great stay

Our easter holiday at Corrado's place was WONDERFUL.It's a welcoming and clean typical mountain chalet....Who loves to nature & calmness...Above all our children had great fun with his beautiful garden... Corrado has done his best for us.He is a available & courteous person...As a host he is perfect!!And it was a remarkable vacation!!!!

Our stay was beautiful! We didn't even leave the property, taking advantage of the grill and pool. Corrado was always very helpful and recommended many things to do in the area. The house was super clean and the surroundings were quiet, a perfect getaway. We'll be back!

Lovely stay in charming village of Montemarcello. The accommodation is very similar to an en suite hotel room with a kitchenette area and a private outdoor space for eating. The cabin is situated in a beautiful garden with views of the Carrara mountains and the large pool is shared with other guests and has ample loungers where you can relax and enjoy the sun. We used the cabin as a base from which to explore the stunning Ligurian coastline and particularly enjoyed a boat trip from Lerici to Portovenere, where we hired a boat and sailed around the island of Palmeria. Tellaro is also a stunning and unspoiled spot to have a swim. We found the Cinque Terre too busy and overcommercialised - there are much prettier places to visit. The host and her family were very attentive and helpful. Would highly recommend if you want a reasonably priced and comfy stay in this delightful region.
